So this review is being left after my second trip in the last 6 weeks. Both times, I ordered the blueberry pancakes. Both times I asked for extra blueberry compote. Both times, the brought me pancakes with literally 2 tablespoons of blueberry compote.
On the second trip, while placing my order, I pointed out to the server, that I wanted blueberries covering the top and dripping down the side, like they show on the menu picture. The picture below is their idea of "extra" blueberry compote. At $10.79, for 4 pancakes, I think they ought to give their customers a few ladles of fruit topping, not the stingy 1 small ladle that I received both times. At $75 (with tip) for 3 people to eat there, I would rather NOT eat there anymore and find another breakfast restaurant that isn't afraid to put a recognizable amount of compote on their pancakes. Lesson learned. IHOP can shutter its doors, like so many other places, as people are not going to eat there for long, if this is the best they can do. Sorry, not Sorry, IHOP can go by way of the dodo bird sooner rather than later in my opinion. I won't be darkening their doorstep again.
The IHOP in Greer/Taylors SC, where my family had breakfast, was not a good experience. We waited almost an hour for our food and the food was overpriced and not the best. I think next time, Waffle House will make a better choice for food and for service.
IHOP in Abilene Texas, were so helpful. They did an community outreach for Pack 217 Cub Scouts. They delivered it to us and we are so very thankful for that. The food was yummy, and hot.
Came to IHop this morning. Ordered sunrise breakfast with hash browns and bacon crisp. Eggs medium hard. After 45 minutes got fatty bacon, eggs that had white running and cold toast.
I had ordered food for pickup at IHOP The waitress took her sweet time to bring me my food and by the time I got home I noticed that my hash browns were almost burnt on the top my scrambled eggs were so overcooked they were dried out very disappointed with IHOP I'll just start going back to Waffle House great food and service. And I still gave the waitress a tip to be nice.
Nearly empty restaurant order came out wrong from the beginning and incomplete. When asked for a manager no manager on duty. Location 2445 N University Drive. Sunrise FL.
During the last year, 2020 and most of 2021. Restaurants have been open to drive thru only or take out. Ihop has been opened and they continue to open the doors to customers who are tired of being told to stay home by those who use evil to promote fear. I work hard like many Americans and occasionally I want to go out to get something to eat with my wife or family. Unfortunately, not many businesses have the staff, BUT ihop does. This tells me something about the company, why is it they find servers in abundance when other companies can't even find customers. It is because of the friendly atmosphere they provide within each restaurant. Their willingness to ensure each customer has a wonderful experience and not have to take out a loan to pay for the meal. Take off your mask, leave your fear at the door and go into ihop and enjoy a great meal, just like you used to. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is I am hopeful more items will be added to the menu and they will throw away the idea of menu by phone. (QR code)
Had breakfast at ihop in Rockwall Texas this morning, service was great thank you Judy our waitress, everyone seemed happy! Made my breakfast awesome! Great experience!
Food was great, waitress didn't come back after setting my food on the table. Surprise that eggs don't come with toast. Place is fairly clean. I Didn't feel happy today with IHOP.
Visited 2/29/2024. No heat. Extremely cold with A/C on. Food great! Will not return. Left receipt on table.
I tried calling you a few minutes ago. I have always enjoyed IHOP. However, today was a disaster. I stopped to eat at the Rockingham, NC IHOP. I was the the only customer there except for a few in the next room finishing up. I ordered the pancake combo with hash browns, scrambled eggs and sausage links. I waited 15-20 minutes and had to finally ask another waiter about my order. He (not my waitress) brought out the eggs, sausage and hash browns but no pancakes. She rarely checked on me. The hash browns were cold and the eggs lukewarm. I sent the hash browns back. Finally the pancakes came. I asked him what the problem was and he blamed it on a shift change. However, all I could hear from the kitchen was loud laughter and folks having fun. I was totally ignored. I kept waiting on the hash browns but they never came so I paid and left. The way your staff is running your store will ruin your business. I called the manager and shared my concerns. He needs to do a better job of running the store. I am contacting the IHOP national office. No customer should be treated like this!
My last 3 visits the food came out cold. It appeared food was precooked, stored and then microwaved.
Berenice S She did a great service we Appreciate it thank you for your work the food was perfect keep it
IHOP has raised their prices - which would be ok as long as you still felt like you received good value for your dollar. Unfortunately that is not the case. First the drinks are now 3.50 for a very small glass. I got one refill so it was equivalent to an $1 drink anywhere else. We substituted the fries on one meal for broccoli which arrived cold and minus the garlic sauce and was also 3.50. Plus they didn't credit anything for not receiving the fries. I did insist they provide me with fries to take home but it was a struggle and they acted as if they did me a favor. I ordered a tone steak that was paper thin - they said that is the ihop tbone. Never again. They had to deprecate because it wasn't even a tbone - so the rest of my food sat and got cold waiting for that. My order had 3 items and all came out on separate plates - not looking appetizing at all. I talked to the manager who said they have new owners that are squeezing every penny out of them. I have been a happy ihop consumer for decades but this will be my last visit. For what we spent on mediocre food, we could have gone to a much better restaurant - from now on I will be going to First Watch, Perkins, Dennys. Don't waste your money / I left feeling ripped off.
We went to the IHop in Oak Grove Missouri. The service was HORRIBLE. My sister ordered crepes they came with nothing inside them. I ordered a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich the bacon was not cooked. I ordered my moment to go sandwich a club, they sent a turkey melt with avocado. We sent the club sandwich back or the turkey meal anyway they brought out the exact same sandwich and said it was redone they gave us soda from a 2 l bottle that was flat said their machine was broken but it's a brand new restaurant they just open the week ago. The cook was the one who brought it out very rude with an attitude. Manager pretty much took up for everybody there. Which she said but not in this situation. I will never go there again and neither one of my family. They sent us out checks totaling $65 sad to say we only took $10 and we are very good tippers usually normally she would have got almost a $25 tip. Like I said I will never go to this restaurant again and neither will my family we will be telling friends and family about this so they won't come and make the same mistake we did.
Alright, let me start off with saying that if I could zero stars I would. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the worst food I've ever had and the filthiest place I've ever been to. When we first walked in the smell hit you in the face like a heavy weight boxer punched you square in the face. It reeked of sewage and the bathroom smelled like that but 10x worse. It was 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour to get our food. When it finally came my dad took a bite of the classic hamburger and it was barely cooked at all. The fries were burnt to hell and the grease could've greased up 20 axels and make them run again. I got the strawberry banana pancakes and when they first came out, they were still runny. The bananas were rotten. My water had a slight brown hue in it and the soda my dad got had a bug in it. We asked for the burger to be cooked more and they took it back and came out 10 minutes later and it was still undercooked. We saw a dead rat in the kitchen. Don't know if it was an early Halloween decoration or not. The staff were rude and we could hear them saying horrible things about my dad's weight and they didn't even try to be quiet about it. It's amazing how they are still open. This is the iHop in Benson Plaza in Omaha, Nebraska. Someone seriously needs to shut this place down.
Beth is an amazing waitress. We ask for her Everytime we come. She is kind and gets our order right and quick. The food is great and we love coming here.
We went to ihop nearby we live in Burke va and it was very bad experience the food was very cold it was like sitting for a while before it served and there was a hair on the plate
On Sunday 10/08/2014 the wife and I went for brunch at store #306 in Abbotsford BC. We decided we would both have the SR FISH&CHIPS IN BEER BATTER@ $9.99 EACH.
When the young lady brought the order I started laughing and my wife could not believe her eyes. There it was a piece of Beer Battered fish about 3 and 1/2 inches long with chips a piece of toast and some tarter sauce. I suggest that at half the price and put on the child's menu it would still be overpriced.
We have eaten in IHOP restaurants fromYuma to Canada and enjoyed every meal but I couldn't let this one pass. James Barley
We had ordered food and my eggs were sunny side up but I ordered sracmble and they were wrong and my pancakes were cold and underfed cooked never coming back again IHOP you lost two customers
Answer: Because there food was good at a different location so I thought that one would be good to
