My account was blocked after successfully placing an order and they charged to my Cc. Later they informed me it was due to suspicious login and order rejected yet there no one informed in advance. I requested to place the order again otherwise refund the money back to my account. No Response at all. Meantime dramatic automated emails receiving about they're trying to charge to my card again to place the order yet declined. So Disappointed :( :( :(
I love the products I ordered. The prices are reasonable. It shipped in half the time they promised on the website. This would have been a 5-star shopping experience, but after paying for shipping to then get hit up at the post office for $15 on a $70 order (approx 22%, which makes no sense considering everything I ordered was made in a NAFTA country) makes me seriously wonder if they just pocketed the "shipping" that I paid.
It's always a waste of at least an hour to navigate the website I'm trying to get a customer service live agent but you're forced to answer the same question that is the time with the virtual agent. What's the point of trying to be healthy environment supplements when these robotic virtual assistant make your blood pressure go up. Equally as frustrating as their new shipping company. Orders are now delayed and getting a refund is time consuming.

I herb looks cheap at first but they dont highlight the cost of taxes and amazon is often just as cheap if not cheaper plus they offer rewards scheme that operate like a pyramid scheme except you dont know the person whose code finds its way onto your order and who benefits from your purchase to the tune of 5% every time you order.
I used this site for over a decade and ordered thousands of dollars in products. This December, I learned that Iherb let someone set up a duplicate account using my same email address (without notifying me or without any security double check) and allowed that fake account to ship to an unknown person. All I got was a notice saying my order (which was fraudulent) was on it's way. When I notified Iherb via email, they suspended my account and are refusing to allow me to have any account that uses my email address. They basically said "too bad." They failed to put in place any of the routine alerts or double checks for changes or duplications of accounts that could help prevent fraud. Beware if your account gets hacked because of their poor security, you are screwed.

Unexpectedly, I had to pay 10% duty and 20% tax to DHL before delivery. Although apparently seem to be cheap in iHerb but in the final result is very expensive and better way is to buy from another distributor in the UK.
This was my first purchase... and last.
I've been a loyal customer of iHerb for about 6 years now and have been served very well. They have continued to carry so many good products, fairly priced and have excellent service. I am so grateful they always have our usual supplements we need on a steady ongoing basis, great prices and so much more! The turn around is lightning speed, we usually receive our orders in a couple of days!

When you search on their page for information about import taxes, they state: 'you MAY have to pay import taxes' and 'you will be billed directly for them.' This information is FALSE. They don't charge, so you think you're order is free of charges... But then DHL shows up with the bill.
They just show up at your door telling you to pay €45.If you'd refuse they won't send the package back, iHerb doesn't allow that, so they will destroy it leaving you to loose the $ paid for the products!
Wish I'd read here first. Just had to pay £22 UK VAT & Customs charge to receive my parcel. These charges are in no way made clear on the iHerb website. I paid for my order and delivery and then get slammed with hidden charges, which were a third of my order value! Contact is only via email. They fob you of and threaten that you will receive additional charges is you reject the delivery. Will never use iHerb again. Will never recommend iHerb to anyone. Do not use this company if you live in the UK! Total rip off!
Lost my money and nerves...
If you are from eu think twice before ordering from iHerb. Just got the most unpleasant experience. The items i ordered arrived but then i needed to fill in number of customs declarations and to fax them to UPS franchise here in croatia... and all this to be charged some 20 euros more then! So, i do the paper work, they get the money. When i complained to iHerb because nowhere was i warned of this procedure in advance they told me that if UPS now returns my purchase they will maybe give me money back but minus all expenses which means i will probably get nothing. Basically this means i will pay for the products i returned and iHerb can then sell them again... which is a great business plan. So, never again and really, if you are from any eu country, i would not recommend you ordering stuff from iHerb. It will cost you money and lots of nerves, it's way too stressful.

Received leaked and spilled products every now and then because of poor packing. I wrote emails to complain and iherb sent me a form reply and issued a refund. Still, it would be much better if they take the time to improve their packing in the first place instead of causing inconvenience again and again. Not sure if their so-called 'Apologies' are well meant when all u get is the same reply.
Awful customer service. I was using iHerb for many years, but when I had an issue with my account, there was no response, no assistance whatsoever. You can not call them, there is no phone number and no one responds to emails. The chat doesn't work either.

I recently purchased 6 jars of an Indian simmer sauce from them. The first order arrived with 2 out of 6 broken glass jars. They were bubble warped but packed on top of each other. Customer service was responsive and quickly sent me replacements but alas one of them arrived smashed in the box. Obviously amateur shippers. I give up...
Ordered product twice and received wrong color twice. No packing slip with shipment how convenient for the worker who knew the color was wrong to cover their tracks. Sent a email to them let's see how they handle issue. By the looks of the reviews I'm not expected a customer service professional to make things all better. Time will tell.
So upset with this place. Waited long but nothing. They dont even tell u that my order was returned! Then they give me money back less shipping. I asked to show me the proof of the address and returned. Coz never happened to me before. They can't give u answer.

I placed an order which sat on a 'not yet picked up' delivery status for 5 days. I had to email to ask when it was going to be delivered. If you want your goods you will have to spoon feed these people and chase them for answers. My order has only just their warehouse after nearly a week of being in their system and have yet to receive it but I have already decided I will not be ordering again. Useless and lazy staff who are not attentive.
Both times I ordered from iherb I was lied to about when it was shipped. Then the 2 day shipping turned into 5 day shipping. One time I tried cancelling an order I just placed 2 minutes earlier because I ordered the wrong Turmeric from 1 company, they sold 3 different kinds. Iherb said "tough luck", we already shipped it"? Really? In 2 minutes? And you can't even talk to a real person. What else are they hiding? Buyer beware and sorrowful customer service when you can't pick up the phone and talk to a person! Bad business practice.
