I've probably waited 50 hours on hold over that time frame trying to talk to someone at social security. Here we are April 28th and after an hour and a half wait on hold with social security a young woman walked me through signing up with ID me and I was able to create my social security account within a half hour of the phone call. The reason this is such a big deal is because I'm flat broke. I turned 65 next month nobody wants to give me a job although I'm quite capable of working and social security claimed to have taken my application over the phone but I couldn't verify it until I was able to create an account with social security. This has been very traumatic I was ready to just say forget it but, now there's a light at the end of the tunnel and I feel like my life has possibilities

It was easy to use. It extremely helpful to have one account for multiple websites. It is very helpful to not have to enter your SSN but rather use the ID.me account. I believe it's safer, although I cannot vouch for it. I believe when they say that they wouldn't share this data with anyone. Do read their disclaimer on data privacy and security. Fingers crossed for them to guard this data as we all would like to have it guarded.
I can't believe I had to give away all my rights to log into zoom. No privacy. You taped my voice. You taped my face. It took 4 hours. What a waste of time. You asked me for my HOME PHONE, it is a land line. Then you tried to make me do a zoom on a land line. I can not get texts on a land line. You kept telling me you want to make me get on a cell phone NOT EVERYBODY HAS A cell phone. NOT EVERYBODY HAS A COMPUTER> I am much more comfortable on my CHROME book, but you did not tell me that I could get off the stupid LENOVO YOGA and go to my chromebook. You kept asking me to get on a cell phone. I have 5 different email addresses, and you did not tell me which one you wanted to use. But you wanted me on a cell phone This is ridiculous.
