I jumped through all hoops to get an account. Submitted all documents. Went before the reviewing agent via phone. Finally received ID. Used it twice. Then id.me suspended account. No reason ever given. Only AI support robots to talk to. Three months trying to get to a human being. Finally after going online and posting as many bad reviews as I could, magically I get an email telling me my account is "approved" and I can use it again. No apologies, no reasons ever given for the suspension. Investigation online tells me thousands of people have gone through same thing. This is a classic example of a solution looking for a problem. I don't know who chose to use this mess on vital government Web sites, but they need to be DOGEd. Investigation of this boondoggle product and it's parent company needs to be done. Too little too late, and acting like it is all our fault is unexceptible.
