I have an account that I set up in 2023. When I tried to use it now, I was caught in an endless loop where they asked me multiple times for a code sent via email, then cell phone, then landline. Despite the fact that I already had an account and I knew my password, they told me I had to upload my ID again, take another selfie, verify the info in my credit file, and then we are back to entering codes they sent to my cell phone, etc. It was a nightmare. I spent close to two hours on this nonsense before I finally gave up.
Had my identity stolen and they filed false income tax on my SS number. I just hope that's the end and not the beginning.

I'm not a book writer and don't have a computer so all is done on my phone all my documents could have been handled over the phone call instead of taking pictures made me feel uncomfortable to much information and I did not trust the sight at first.

All I wanted to do was my (very simple) tax return. I had everything I needed together. But no. This thing popped up and apparently I had to sign up. More than once. After I got through it, I still couldn't get to the place where I could easily do what I wanted to do. I'd rather pay for some tax return software or go to someone sitting at a card table looking as miserable as you normally would at WalMart and have them do it. At least I could cheer up one person for a little while.
