It took me two times and two agents the second time and almost an entire afternoon on the phone to get verified to be able to log on to va.gov. I gave up the first time after an unsuccessful try. The worst experience I've ever had doing something like this. Tommy
It's supposed to be a way to access Social Security, but many people who get Social Security will never be able to log in with it. I managed to painfully make my way through the process, taking literally three hours, but when I finally got my identity verified, I still couldn't log in. I was able to set up my ID me account very easily and I am basically technically challenged. I am the generation x and so I'm not that savvy on too much technology but was able to access that my account and use it easily upload and take selfie pictures and I felt very safe using it. I would definitely recommend using it.
This whole process was time consuming and very frustrating. What do the elderly do that have no IPhones or computer skills? Considering all the hacking of accounts going on, is it really any more secure and for how long?
Som times you can login sometimes you can't they claim the account is locked. I have to call to try to get it unlocked or use an alternate site.

It is very glitchy. Survey only works for positive reviews so you are not getting accurate feedback. The live Rep saved me from a nervous breakdown. Shame on you guys
