Why can't they verify your identity at the SSA field office? No, instead you have to make an appointment with a post office that is more than 50 miles away so they can verify information that the DMV and SSA has already verified. This is overkill, especially for us disabled people. It's not an easy task and I would propose that it's done on purpose. They want to make it as difficult as possible, so that we can't access our benefits. Even SSA is almost 2 hours away from me and since I'm unable to do anything online, I have no choice but to find another person to drive me to the right kind of post office to prove what everyone else has already proven. Government red tape at its finest. I plan on complaining with the ADA.
I created my account several years ago and my information has been stored here, safely ever since. I am able to use my account at anytime when I need to create an account at a business for discounts and it's always super smooth. So, go ahead and create your account and start using it! It's always and smooth process.

And have access to to services that are very important.
They were very professional and efficient with the task that we had to do. We were done in no time less than 10 minutes. Even though we got disconnected, there was no problem to connect back to the video call. Thank you.
I waited a full day trying to get signed in with this crap because it would not send me a text. It would not send me a email.
Actually this process was really straightforward. I almost hadn't any difficulty at all. Just a slight bit of trouble with my document uploads but figured out it was me not quite understanding how to do it right. Backing up and looking at it again it all fell into place and very soon I was where I wanted to be with creating my sign in.
