Having ID.me is very beneficial knowing they are secure and not scammers, they take things very seriously but make sure they are vetting your information fully which is great, there are so many people that like to scam your information these days. I recently had a terrible experience trying to get validated with login.gov, and I was very worried that setting up id.me would be equally awful. I watched the video and noticed that there were many steps involving both my phone and computer and uploading my passport and taking selfies. With such a complicated process I was very worried that something along the way would go wrong. I was very glad and relieved when everything worked, However, I think the whole process is quite complicated and I think it would be very easy to get confused unless you very, very carefully follow all the instructions

I was unable to access the needed area of the VA website to upload documents. I could not get the documents to the VA as needed today. Had to email them to Paula Ramsey at the Louisville Hub and I am still not sure that she has them. I do not feel confident that the documents have been received. Would like a confirmation from someone.

At first I had a few issues. Once I understood the process I was fine. I felt at ease and was able to get through the areas I was trying to access.
It was very good except the text message with the two part authentication did not come through. I used email and that was delivered.
Most intolerable experience of my life. Took hours was invasive and still have not fixed the problem. The employees are severely lacking in training, one out of 4 was able to make the video call work. After the process was directed back to the UC website and nothing had changed. It sets you up in a endless loop. I will have to go down the office in person. It feels like they have made the process this way to try to cheet hard working Americans out of the benefits they paid into sometimes for multiple years. Disgusting.

I was having trouble accessing my account via Log In because for some reason it didn't recognize my phone number. I decided to try IDme. The whole process took about 15 minutes and I didn't even have to leave my office! (that being said, I keep the documents I needed in my office) The best part for me was the video verification - actually talking to a real person! So refreshing! Everything went smoothly. I believe they keep my information as safe as can be expected. I trust no entity 100%, and I waived around sensitive documents to someone I didn't know, but it did not feel unsafe. I initiated the process, and no part of it made me uncomfortable. I was grateful for the help.

When my wife attempted to get to hers via the only way to do it, this one, they would not accept her email address because we both have used the same one since retirement, they wouldn't accept her self picture, then they wouldn't let us try anymore because the machine thought we were engaging in suspicious activity!
