Excellent. I want to know my balance with IRS so I can pay them off before I file my 2024 tax. My tax preparer asked me how much still I owe. I don't know. He gave me the IRS number to call and inquire and I was told I have to wait 60 min but if I don't want to wait I can go to the IRS website which I did and which I didn't regret cause IF. Me assisted me from the start to the end and very happy with the outcome. Highly recommended.
The agent that helped me was so kind. I explained to her that I had been a victim of a hacker and was leery of giving personal information over the internet or phone, but she put my fears at ease. She made my experience as painless as possible. Such a blessing and explained to me how I would use ID me as my sign in for my Social security because I had misplaced our passcode book. You need people who are willing to help you when you feel your world is upside down.
Very time consuming and difficult to navigate, I mean it took me totally 6 hours on the computer with help from an IT person 2 hours. When one has retired you use the computer for banking purpose or just browse for information in general or shop. I can speak for myself that when you develop these systems you are not aware that people who are not working and retirees are not very computer savvy. Its not a one size fits all so to speak.
