I had used ID. Me before and it was fairly straightforward and simple. Apparently now you must re-register for certain government sites. Trying to upload the documents myself never worked after several attempts I went to the live video and was able to accomplish the task. Just skip trying to get it uploaded yourself and go straight to the video chat.
There was a good feeling knowing. Somebody could get me through with. The government as quick as ID me did

I am not very computer knowlegable and found it difficult trying to upload the documents. I wasted to much time on the self service when i reached the point of submitting the second phone number the system would kick me out. The virtual chat was somewhat easier but still had difficulty uploading photos. Once i got through to the chat person he was very helpful. However once i got on the irs site i am still not sure if my info was received and processed to take care of the issue.
