I would like to thank and Appreciate the hoveround staffing for their services and support in helping me receiving My Power Mobility Chair. It was Delivered in a respectful manner., I also like to thank the Delivery Guy as well. For such a outstanding Job. Thank you again hoveround I will let others know that y'all are a lovely respectful company with love showing people that y'all Care... Appreciated Your's Truly Mr. Reginald Barksdale
I am overweight, so I have the model that is considered bariatric. Problem is, right in front where you need to stand in order to sit down, there is the motor, a huge bulk. Try to step around it, it's almost impossible to do and I'm not that short, 5'6". If the seat swiveled it would be fine, but not an option on this model. So after one day I called and said come get it. Still no word on when.
From December to March, to get this settled between your company and my Dr office. Each blaming the other of why not happening, this went on for 3 months. Once all t's were crossed and i's dotted, didn't take long to get the chair. My insurance paid for the chair and 4 year warranty, that was a good plus. Dana that brought the chair was very super helpful, I appreciated his time and expertise about the chair. I'm getting better at controlling the chair after marking the walls, pulling trim away, but I'm getting there. I do love what freedom it has given me.
You make a pretty good power wheelchair but the seats aren't very comfortable. The front solid rubber tires aren't worth a crap on any surface either they tear it up or they just spin but you already know this. Batteries could hold the charge a lot longer like they used to. Price goes up quality goes down. But overall you still make a good cheer for the money.
I have only been waiting for 6 months because you don't just put one person you put 3-4 different people to help!
I don't believe the person I spoke to was very knowledgeable about the services, available products,& procedures of obtaining different chairs I explained I suffered from multiple sclerosis that I'm 39 and that I needed a chair for outdoor mobility once I asked about the different chairs I seen especially the one in picture he had nothing to tell me but above all he was polite
We purchased a power chair as it size is more easily accessible into the handicap van we own. Unfortunately tie down bars, used to secure the chair once inside the van, are not standard equipment so we ordered them extra. At the time of order we were told the bars were in inventory and the technician would be back in one week to install the bars. It has been more than one month and they still cannot tell us when the bars will be installed. The chair is absolutely no value if we cannot use it in the van. I would not recommend Hoveround.

Spoke with Hoover round representative about updating my scooter as it just turned five years. Advise that was to have a Mobility exam done with the doctor. Advise will fax out exam form to doctor for him to fill out. Doctor has not received any paperwork from representative or Hoveround. Just cost me one doctor's visit plus I'll have to pay for another when he gets the paperwork. Trying to contact representative on Monday morning on hold so far 18 minutes
Ive had a powerchair for 17 years. First 6 years I was with another company. Too many i's to dot & t's to cross to get rwcertified. How many times must a patient prove they're permanently disabled? Now Im diabetic. Had to choose my phone bill or my new meds, meds won
Had discussion with representative of Hoveround last week and have heard nothing as of today. What is next?
It was okay. I received information I hadn't heard before. That is all I have to say at this time!
I can't describe it cause no one has called me back to let me know anything yet to let me know if they are setting up a date to deliver it my doctor had a one on one with me all I am waiting for is to receive notification from you all when I can receive one
I really like my new chair. The only problem I'm having is the turning. I am not use to a rear turning chair. I'm hitting a lot of things because of the rear of the chair coming around and not being able to see it.
People were nice and knew what they were doing. Very nice to talk to. But I was told my insurance did work with your company after I did what they ask. After I had my physical. A waste of my time.
It's too early in the process. I'll do another review when the power chair arrives, I don't have a hundred characters to enter. Like I said I'll do another review when I have more to say.
Hoveround seems to be living up to there word. I got through the interview with the doctor and it seemed to go in my favor. Big questions is medicare approval and I am low income and how soon that paperwork is completed to qualify me for payment on the 20% I can not afford. I will reserve my final say then.
I am in need of a electric wheelchair due to many physical reasons. However, I feel as though Hoveround is
Giving me the Runaround. I am not one to order an item, especially a costly one, without the experience of being able to sit on it and test it. I was told there isn't anywhere, I can go to look at one and before you would do anything I had to jump thru hoops including involving my doctor. I understand that things have to be on the up and up to have Medicare and Insurance help with coverage, and I have nothing to hide. Of course your company called today to tell me the doctor missed a question and did not include a prescription for the chair. The reason being, I'm not sure what type of chair I want, just yet. The lady said she will put it on hold until I make a decision. I may end up going with your chair because from what I have seen I like the idea of the turning radius. Our home was built handicap accessible because this was expected. I was told that if I
Decide to go with you, a chair will be brought to my home to try. I can only hope your company stands behind your telemarketers. Hoping to do business with you in the near future. Maryan A. Zook
Up to now, I loved Hover round and their fantastic service. I have been trying to get back with them several times and getting nowhere. Got a notice tat I have a Drs appointment but I
know nothing about it! C'mon Hoverround... Don't break my heart. I need a working, safe chair now. Diabetic wit three big holes in both feet.
You act too slowly. I'm sick of waiting. I am a 77 year old female who has been disabled since 1979 and you act like I'm able to walk. I see people who can walk getting these chairs with no problem so why am I being denied.
It's hard to find out what's going on with an ordered chair. This was for my mom. First I was told that it was going to scheduling and had no idea when they would call. My sister called back after a few days and was told the chair was there waiting but there was no one to deliver it, he was out on medical. Then I called and this lady was very helpful, she emailed the head of my district and they got someone in another area to deliver it. Don't have it yet, but hopefully in a few days. You shouldn't have to go through this. If we would not have called who knows how long we would have waited... Y'all need to be on top of each and every order, you're messing with people's lives here.
Inconsistent application of needs to apply for insurance. For the first chair I got, I had to do practically nothing. Hoveround took care of getting the necessary approvals. For the 2nd chair, Hoveround seems to have taken the stance of "hands off." I have yet to figure out how to convince the insurance of my need.
I know Hoveround is the best there is. However I never heard back from them after the initial promising start. They said they would get back to me after they contacted my doctor. I have never heard back
Unable to get one because I needed it for out of home use as Medicare wouldn't pay for it. Sine I have a hard getting up from a sitting position the hoveround would be very helpful in my home as I could sit in it and not have to get up to go elsewhere in my home.
Harder to turn around as my rascal. Their foot rest has a lip on it and is hard to get my feet up into it. My left foot does not lift up onto it. My turning ratio is bad. I now have to back out of the hallway instead of just turning around. Trying to put my foot-rest up to get off machine is very hard. Chair is very comfortable. Overall it is a nice machine. My problems might not be the same for you. Cannot walk. The person that brought my machine was very nice. He explained nicely and said please watch the dvd

I love my hoveround. The man that set my chair left his air pump. Thank you. Debra Klingler
I had to call to find out about my request for new chair. Was informed that my request was denied because all reports was not in and miss read. No phone call or letter was sent to me. I had both copies of report mailed or faxed to company stating that I needed a power wheelchair.
