Hotelwiz

Do not book a hotel room through this company. I booked a room with them and then found out the hotel did not have rooms available. Then I told Hotelwiz that this was the case and they called me and asked me to call the hotel to cancel. So I did call the hotel and they said no problem and did not charge my credit card. Then I got a message from HotelWiz that it was non-refundable and they would collect the money anyway. Crooks!

On the website said had hot tub in the pool area but it was not in operation. I booked this hotel for that purpose. I had to end up staying because I couldn't cancel because I made the reservation thru this website and if I cancelled I would still be charged which I don't think was fair to me because wasn't my fault the the advertising said hot tub but wasn't.

The online registration process was simple and fast, and the Hotelwiz and hotel registration numbers were provided immediately. When I called the hotel to verify the reservation, they had not yet received it from Hotelwiz. If the hotel confirms my reservation in the next day or so, I'll raise the review to 5 stars.

Wouldn't allow me to change the date to the day before because I accidentally scheduled the same day! Wouldn't allow me to change the name! "This is non refundable" I don't want a refund, I want it for the right date! Had to stay an extra to get my moneys worth for 200 a night!

I usually book on Booking.com but their rate was almost twice the cost and they canceled my booking. I search and found a room at the same place on hotelwiz for less and it was easier to book. Will use them from now on

HotelWiz was super easy to navigate and not only did I find the cheapest rate, the booking process was super easy! Once processed, I received my booking information directly after! The hotel was super clean and comfy as well!

I booked through this site and when I got to the hotel I was told the credit card used to book the hotel had been declined. I had to pay for the hotel room agian. When i went and checked my bank account I had a charge from this company on my account and the hotel. I called the customer service number for this company and they told me that the charge was actually just a hold on my account and would be cleared by the bank within a few days. The charge by this company was processed and never was cleared from my account. This site is more or less a scam masquerading as a travel agency that gets you double charged for a booking through them.

I have been trying for hours to get hold of support. I have been on hold for over 2 hours on your phone. I have sent 'chat' requests. I have emailed.
Hotelwiz charged me for a room reservation. My credit card has been charged.
I called the hotel and they do not have the reservation or my name.
Why did Hotelwiz charge me for a room I do not have? Where is customer support?

They claimed they have no visibility into seeing whether or not they got credited from the hotel.
The Hotel credited their account the same day.
When I asked the person at hotelwiz where he was located, he claimed he was in California. I then asked him what his address was and he had to ask someone. I then asked him what the weather was like outside and he hung up.

I was excited that I got the price I wanted but the room I received was not what I had expected. I felt I was just put into a room that was not often used because of it's handicapped features. There was a portable seat for the shower and the shower head was not a not regular shower but detachable and not the easiest to use. Not sure if this was the hotel's decision or if Hotelwiz features handicapped rooms.

The worst experience room was dirty and not cleaned at all and when I asked for a different room they didn't have the one I had reserved... ended up getting a better "room" and it was still dotry I was so tired at that point I jus laid Mt blanket down and went to sleep smh never again I'm only rating one because I can't rate zero

I asked for a refund for one of my two nights because the hotel was not up to my standards. The customerservice department was awful and even though the hotel manager approved my refund for the second night Hotelwiz refused to refund my amount I will be reporting this company directly to the federal trade commission for fraud.

If you want to book a hotel, do not use this company, I booked a hotel in hotelwiz website, when I arrived the place, the system was down and no Internet, I waited in lobby over 3 hours, the lady still couldn't check me in. I have to book another hotel for my trip. I talk to hotelwiz agent, they told me my reservation was not refundable and changeable, and still charge me full price. When I call back to ask refund, they don't answer my phone and hang up on me. This company is definitely cheater, they just want to get your money, not help you. Never use this company, never!
