The whole family stayed at the motel for the wedding of Vincent and Sally on the 5th, we were all extremely happy with the reception, and accommodation, the rooms were lovely, clean and warm. And the breakfast the next morning at a nearby café was very good, we would recommend it at any time.
I thought I booked directly through the Hotels website. It appears that hotelsone, through clever manipulation of the google search, guides you to a their booking site(which is very simular to the hotels website) by using the hotels name and adding. Hotelsone to the site. Quite imaginative on their part. When we arrived at the hotel the room we got was not what was booked. It was however satisfactory and the hotel staff was great. The hotel contacted hotelsone and advised them that they would discount the room for us. I spoke with the hotelsone representative and it was confirmed that they would refund us the discount. Has not yet happened and I am not expecting that it will.
The experience makes me feel like hotelsone is nothing more than a SCAM dreamed up by somebody living in their moms basement.
BEWARE - this website is a total FRAUD.
They use the same logos, pictures as from the original hotel websites and appears to be them!
They are definitely connected through some other booking websites to collect the availability and rate data - and manipulate the rates to attract foolish travellers online!
I booked a hotel room through their website. The website indicated free cancellation until 6 pm the night before your booking. I tried to cancel on the same night I booked as my travel plan changed. They had me on the phone for 10 minutes afterward they told me that I made my booking through hotelpass.com even though I booked it through their website and the confirmation email came through them but the booking happened through hotelpass.com. I guess where the hotelpass.com is. Well, I couldn't tell because the website doesn't have anything beside some asian writing. The phone number of the site doesn't have a country code as well. Thank god, the booking was for one night only and I let. I would stay away from Hotelsone even they offer me free room.
Tiny toilet. I'm a big guy and my shoulders were touching both walls in the toilet and it was very hard to get into the toilet room and close the door. I was like a sardine in a can. I would suggest removing the toilet wall and making the toilet and bathroom one room. Everything else was great however, clean room, comfortable beds, comfortable couches, and the tv had modern features like netflix and plex.
I called for a room on a certain date. They put in the day I called to make reservations not the day I wanted to stay, then charged me for the date they put in. BS... I called and they told me to bad. Then email me 10 days after the fact with the comfermation number. What the hell is that.
Only issue: I tried to book three rooms for my reservation and the site wouldn't allow me. I called customer service and they couldn't do either. They told me the rooms were not available even though a site reflected availability. I eventually figured it out and was able to do one at a time
I told the agent that I did not know my confirmation number and could she send it to me by email. She then ASKED me for my confirmation number and I reminded her I did not have that. Then she asked for itinerary number, which I did not have. She then told me she couldn't help me without these things. Then I asked if she could look me up by name or email which she eventually did. It was a lot of work to get a very basic piece of information.
I too thought i was booking directly with hotel. " Ian" promised me adjoining rooms with my sister overlooking a scenic river view. He said the breakfasts were sold out. I mentioned my sister had a gift certificate for her room. He assured me she only had to present it when we went to check in. I jotted down the confirmation numbers: R******* and R*******. I knew I had emails if I needed them but didnt think it necessary at the time. Had I read them I would have tried to cancel as I was charged for two rooms. I have never written a Negative review but, after this experience I will be very careful making reservations. I feel like I was taken advantage and lied to. This company is not honest and I'm happy to report this experience. Kathy C. Very disappointed!
I was able to book a room at the hotel I wanted, but I feel it was at a ridiculous premium cost. When the site was unable to provide the third night (unavailable) I contacted the hotel directly. I got the room at 1/3rd the cost. Won't use again
I didnt understand what recovery tax s and why the hell im paying it as i am not using the airport or a taxi etc I asked and they couldnt explain it either. I asked if it was vat but told no its recovery. None the wiser i booked as needed to know i had somwhere booked as it not long until we come
I would like to know why you charged my credit card in full for my stay, I have not stayed their ye, I have reviewed your web page it does not say that payment is in full prior to stay, I am sure you will ensure we have a upgrade
I believed that I was booking through the hotel... no where was Expedia mentioned and the hotel name was the url BUT with dashes between words. Fooled me damn it and I am usually pretty good at catching those things. When I wanted to change the reservation the nightmare began; I finally gave iup after being on hold and transferred multiple times.
We were on vacation in September in the Maritime Provinces of Canada. We decided to cancel our Prince Edward Island portion and stay in Nova Scotia. We had made our hotel reservation thru Hotelsone.com and cancelled on line. There was no notice or warning that our prepayment was nonrefundable. So in looking for the refund and not finding it, I start closely examining our confirmation of cancelation we got AFTER we cancelled and discover to my horror that there is a hidden notice that the $549.64 payment was NONREFUNDABLE. Their business practices are tantamount to a scam. I will never use their site again.
I clicked on the photo of the room I wanted to book and thought it was all good, until I actually get to the hotel to be told I had paid for a different (cheaper) room not the more expensive one in the photo. Plus I paid in USD so the hotel couldnt help me as I had booked and paid through a third party. Not impressed and I feel it was misleading to have a photo of the wrong room.
The experience was fine. There was NO option for any rewards/loyalty programs, nor for BCAA or any other possible discount options; not even the suggestion that information can be given at time of checkin. No options for pets.
I have been trying to cancel a nonrefundable reservation due to coronavirus and wedding being cancelled. I have been attempting to get in touch via telephone for last two hours and have had my call dropped four times. Also, attempts to contact via mail have been futile.
Website is very easy to navigate. I did think I was on the actual Palmer House/Hilton website which is what I clicked on. I wanted to get Hilton points and
An AARP discount. I didn't realize I was on the HotelsOne until the name came up when I did the survey at the end. I lost money.
I was tricked again - thinking that I was on the hotels website - I like to book direct - and I wasn't clear that when I added my CC info that I was having to pay for it all. This has happened to me in the past I have to be more and more careful when I book hotels. However, I will be staying at this hotel and there is free cancellation if anything comes up - so lesson learned for me. Again.
Thanks so much! Your customer service rep was so helpful when I needed to add a day to my stay. Although I have not uet received a confirmation from hotels.one for the 12th, it did arrive under another business name... Upon confirming directly with the hotel, I have secured the 12th-17th and shouldn't have to leave my room on the 13th as the reservations merge.
