It's a scam! Hotels.com, hotelsone.com etc. all liked to Expedia. Be careful as to any new company names popping up. All this is also tied in with Capital one.
Was charged 30% more when booking through the HotelsOne. Paid in advance and was then charged again upon check out of the hotel. Only discovered it a week later on my credit card statements. Beware
Because of Covid 19 lockdown I phoned Hotels One UK number and cancelled the Copthorne, Wellington. The Hotels One operator said they'd call the hotel and talk to them about a refund. I decided to hold and wait, the operator came back and said nobody was answering and would try over 72 hours otherwise I'd lose my money. They returned with an email 3 days later and said they hadn't been able to get hold of anybody and wouldn't refund me. It's interesting I didn't have a problem talking to someone at the Copthorne and disappointing during these tough economic time that there are organisations like this allowed to operate.
I was asked to respond confirming I had received my booking and I'm hijacked into filling out a bloody review. I will book direct with Hotel next time.
HotelsOne is a big SCAM! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I HOPE FBI WILL GET THEM. They prey on credit cards, they steal and watch out because they will wipe out your money. If you come across their website RAN!
We got charged right away even dough the dates where wrong. After calling customer service they claimed that we can cancel free of charge. They talked to the Hotel to confirm. They did send a notice of cancellation, however never refunded us the money!
STAY AWAY HORRIBLE COMPANY!
I don't know which booking you are asking about. I have made several. Most have confirmed. A lodgings name is needed to make this communication useful
Had no issues per say, overall, quite good. Got an email confirming my booking shortly. Appreciate the cancellation policy of no charge until the last day
Booking was easy but I thought I was booking through CAA. I paid $348 for my room. I would have paid $318 for the same room with CAA. My bad. Because I got a non refundable room I couldn't cancel and rebook. If HotelsOne would refund me the difference, that would go a long way in me recommending your service to friends who are not members of CAA
Be careful when you book on this website. I actually thought I was booking on the Days Inn Website but it wasn't. This Expedia website makes it appear you are booking directly with hotel. Well when I needed to cancel the hotel would have cancelled but I was told told to call Expedia since that's who I apparently booked through. It was hell trying to cancel due to an emergency and Expedia kept blaming hotel for not wanting to cancel. Expedia was the blame. I kept the reservation because they wanted me to cancel most likely to not only keep our money but book the room for someone else! The worse part is Expedia's price was the exact same price as Days Inn for the night! I will be very cautious when making a reservation again and will NEVER booked through this website again! Very misleading website even Days Inn admites to that! My overall rating an ABSOLUTE ZERO!
A little pricey, especially with all the add ons. Not sure why hotels, etc don't just give you a price for your room, instead they add on all these extras. $50 for overnight parking is crazy
Found the Cancellation message odd and will trust the 2-day advance notice for cancelation indicated in the 'info bubble'. Note the August reference for my December booking, "
Cancellation Policy
Room 1
We understand that sometimes your travel plans change. We do not charge a change or cancel fee. However, this property (Fidalgo Country Inn) imposes the following penalty to its customers that we are required to pass on: Cancellations or changes made after 3:00 PM (GMT-08:00) on 08-12-2022 are subject to a 1 Night Room & Tax penalty. If you fail to check-in for this reservation, or if you cancel or change this reservation after check-in, you may incur penalty charges at the discretion of the property of up to 100% of the booking value."
Don't like the unclear communication- even this survey came over asking to confirm I got a confirmation code but it is really a customer survey. Would suggest more transparent communication.

I booked 2 rooms through HotelsOne for the Gettysburg Hotel on 7/24/2019 at 910am for the following year 7/25/2020 to attend a wedding near by. I realize their policy is NO REFUNDS however I called back within 10 minutes of placing the reservation to cancel ONLY because I wasn't aware that another family member had placed reservations at another hotel closer to the venue. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for a total of $649.89. There is no reason why they cannot make an exception for this innocent error. The reservation is for a YEAR out, it's not like they won't be able to book the room. Now I could understand if I had made my reservation for this month or sooner but it is a year from now. Never have I ever heard of any hotel having this kind of policy for a reservation made a year in advance! DO NOT BOOK THRU HotelsOne or with Gettysburg Hotel because Gettysburg Hotel is aware of this policy & agree to these terms.
Good experience/
The reservation went in smoothly hours before getting to the hotel, as an stop on our trek to college. All was in order upon arrival and we got our room quickly. Thanks.
24 hours after making the booking I am still awaiting confirmation of questions raised. I tried to ring but their 'phone seemed out of order and the 0800 number didn't seem to function either.
I booked a reservation on a Tuesday for the upcoming Saturday night in Victoria at the Bedford regency hotel, l had to correct the first booking, on Wednesday I cancelled the reservation using their online system and received an email with the following response (attached below)however my hotel room was never canceled and they refuse to refund my money, hotels one is blaming it on the Bedford however it is their system that failed
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. THEY STOLE $1500 FROM ME AND GHOSTED ME. I booked a hotel (they were sneaky I thought I was booking direct). I booked with free cancellation bc my son is undergoing chemotherapy and things can change last minute. This was his Christmas present we had to cancel, well within my timeframe, they charged me a fee which they shouldn't have, said they would refund me the balance, NEVER DID, then ghosted me. I haven't heard a word since December. I am on unpaid leave, 3 kids, with many medical expenses, I AM DISGUSTED THAT THIS COMPANY WOULD DO SUCH A THING! BEWARE OF HOTELS ONE... IF YOU READ POSITIVE REVIEWS THEY ARE NOT REAL TRUST ME!
I had contacted via the internet the Hotel Nelligan directly and thought I was booking directly with the hotel with a cancellation policy. I was very surprised to receive an email from HotelOne and discover that I had booked though this organization and there was no cancellation option, I am locked in. Sad, given the ongoing challenges with covid to take this draconian measure.
I thought I was booking with the hotel its self, but it was hotel one. THe hotel allows refunds 24 hours prior to arrival, hotel one does not allow ANY refunds for cancelation. I got COVID and tried to cancel but Hotel One is a rip off! Beware, always make sure you are booking from the hotel site not these no refund jerks
