I booked a hotel for two nights and then realized that I didn't need the second night. The FOLLOWING day that I originally booked, I called and cancelled the second night with the number provided in my email confirmation. I was assured by the associate that I would not be charged. I have had to dispute it with my CC company and they contacted this company. Now my charges have reoccurred. WORST company ever! DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE.
I really like HotelPlanner.com. This site helped me find the exact kind of hotel I wanted, the location I needed, and at the best rate. Unfortunately our trip got cancelled and Reginette, the customer service representative who I dealt with, was so understanding and cancelled my reservation immediately. I am looking forward to using HotelPlanner again!

I've booked a reservation on 29/10/2019. I found there's a typo in my guest name and I would like to update it. I've tried to contact customer service in different ways (phone, email, live chat, facebook messenger, etc.) But I still got no response for over a week.

This client disputed the charge for their reservation which prohibited our company from issuing a refund to them at the time that the hotel provided approval for the reservation to be refunded and this information was communicated to the mutual client. Until the dispute was fully closed out from the Merchant Service department we could not refund the booking.
We were able to follow up with the Merchant Service department and the dispute was closed this month (October) as such we have processed a refund for the clients reservation Refunded($365.26) | Card: VI and they can expect it in their account in the next 3 - 10 business days.

I finally received the shameful email below after months of HP's completely deceitful practices.
First, they put me into a smoking room at a sold-out hotel in Lexington, KY, when I emphatically reserved a non-smoking room due to my severe asthma. I've since read other travelers endured the same unacceptable situation. That is HP's malicious, dangerous practice.
Then at the next hotel in Campbellsville, KY, they charged me for a 3-night stay when I only reserved 1 night and stayed 1 night.
For the last 3 months, I was lied to, insulted, slighted, snubbed, passed around, and ignored by HP's staff including Charity, Esther, Reginette, and "manager" April, not that she ever answers her phone calls or returns voice messages!
HP should not receive another hard-earned dollar ever. All of them should be fired!
Read this pitiful reply that I finally received via email, complete with misspelled "sencond," "you" that should be "your," "right" that should be "write, and "serviced" that should be "services."
"... Just wanted to advise you the sencond night of you reservation has been cancelled with a refund... It would be greatly appreciated if you could please visit "Hotel Planner Consumer Affairs and right a review and some feedback on the serviced you have received from me."
Frankly, "the service" I received was worse than deplorable! NEVER USE!
I had the pleasure of working with Reginette Exume for a reservation change, and she did a wonderful job at helping me, communicating quickly and efficiently. She really helped make my life easier, and saved my butt.

I found the lowest price and made a reservation, but the hotel name was different in the reservation confirmation I received.
It took four days to cancel this reservation. I think there's a problem with the system.

I made a hotel reservation through hotel planner and it was made by them for the wrong hotel. I was incorrectly charged twice for this reservation three months ago and have yet to receive a refund. Hotel planner has been completely unresponsive and I still had to problem solve to obtain an actual reservation at the hotel where I was supposed to be staying. Once checking into the correct hotel, I was charged again since they had no record of me through Hotel Planner.
The customer service of hotel planner was atrocious. I was charged more than the discounted rate. I have been reaching out to the original customer service rep Sara Buchanan who has not responded. I also called an emailed a general number and email. I have not received any response that the issue is being looked into. I am a bride to be and considered hotel planner for my guests but I WOULD NEVER want one of my guests to go through this. I am astounded by the horrible customer service of hotel planner and will be pursuing this issue further.

Called to make reservations rep got my name wrong on reservation. Spent 4 hours trying to get it corrected. Finally got someone in Fl. *******950. Said she would straighten it out and for me to call the hotel to verify. Called hotel it wasn't corrected

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
