I used this site a few times but now they have turned very shady. In Febuary, I booked a pre-cruise park and stay for October, but our plans changed and in June I cancelled our reservation, I have been chasing them for a refund of my deposit (minus the $10 fee as stated on their site) ever since. When they do answer their phone or respond to my emails it's the same: Your refund was processed today, it should be in your account in a few days... but I still have not recieved it. Anyway, book direct with the hotels, it's cheaper anyway... this site has turned into a scam!
I booked a hotel with hotelnparking.com, great customer service was provided. I was confirmed about my booking by the receptionist, followed by an email as well. Nice work done. Will book with them again.
Had to cancel due to hotel booked having bed bugs and a broken down pool, being that it wasn't our fault I requested a full deposit refund the girl said she had to get it approved I left message for her and her supervisor and nobody returned a call or email. They were also supposed to check on another place to stay but instead cancelled our booking and didn't even send confirmation. Very poor communication and customer service will not book again.
When we booked this hotel online, I got no confirmation email and called back 3 times to request an emailed confirmation. She told me to check my junk email which I always do, but nothing. I made reservations with approximately 15 other organizations for my trip to Hawaii and never had an issue receiving any confirmation from any of them. When calling to reserve, they made a typo in my email address and said that once they entered it, it couldn't be changed. She did provide a verbal confirmation and my reservation was there, but I don't like not having things in writing. Who knows when you might show up and have no place to stay.
Have been fighting with company aka American Airport Hotels aka stay123Travel. We had a reservation for Feb. 5 at Hyatt Ft. Lauderdale but had a bike accident and had to cancel our cruise, thus the hotel. My husband sent an email asking for cancellation confirmation on 1/18. Never got a reply. I called and was lucky enough to get a real person, told it was cancelled. Surprise, Hyatt charged our CC when we did not show up. Was told it was never cancelled. Hyatt was good enough to refund that money. Still trying to contact hotelnparking through email and phone. Just get a message, no real person to talk to. Emails go unanswered. Stay away!
I booked through hotelnpark for a cruise. Staying the day before and parking car for 12 days. They site quotes a price with parking for 14 days. Great price, so I booked it. I never got a confirmation email. I called the actual hotel to see if they received the reservation. They had but parking is only for 7 days not 14. It's $15 everyday after 7, not $10 like the site said. I'm not sure what I paid the site for since the price I owe the hotel is the same price quoted. I emailed and called but have not had a return email and no one answers the phone, it's just a message to go online. I am going to try to get my money back through the credit card if I can't reach them.
The hotel did not have my reservation. I had printed out paper copies of all documents. The website would not respond to phone calls when checking in or checking out. They never returned my money, and the parking lot did not honor the hotel's voucher. AVOID THIS SITE!
We went on a cruise from Manhattan New York and booked a hotel and parking package with hotelnparking.com, we were amazed with the the rates for the complete hotel and parking package, it was less than just the parking at the cruise port, hotel was great, nice and clean, free breakfast, parking, cruiseport shuttle, all for one price and service was great too. Highly recommend hotelnparking.
I made a reservation on March 7 for March 18. I cancelled later that day because a friend offered to have us stay with them. Spoke to the same man twice to verify cancellation. I was shocked to see a charge from the hotel was posted the evening of March 18! Hotel said reservation wasn't cancelled.
I understand that there was a $10 service charge for cancellation of the booking. I called them and emailed them because our cruise got cancelled by the Cruiseline. But for heavens sake, there is a world pandemic of COVID-19 going on and they refused to refund me. This is a money hunger company and their customer service is the worst I've ever had. If you call the number, good luck in getting someone on the line. If you ever get someone on the line, you can't even escalate with a manager and they'll say that they are the manager. Very poor customer service! If you want to get ripped off by a company, HotelNParking is the way to go!
The other reviewer is right, it is best if you get your package confirmed well in advance because the best ones go fast. I got an outstanding deal at the JFK Hilton with vacation parking, round trip shuttle to the terminal, and the night b4 my flight in the hotel, for less than I used to pay just to park my car in the airport lot. Confirmation can take a day or two since the reservation doesn't get in the hotel's system right away, but the savings make that minor difference well worth it. I've been using them for 2 years and so far they've been helpful when I've called with a question, & my 3 package setups have come off without a hitch.
Early march we booked a stay for late aug. One month later we get a call that your hotel is completely booked. We phoned the hotel and they said, they sent many faxes to them that they will no longer do business with this company. Well talk about a red flag. Now they asked that they can book me somewhere else, so the can cancel again on us. Well after 6 phone calls finally got deposit back... if the price is too good to be true... buyer beware... also they never sent emails on booking.
Was worried about booking bc of some bad reviews but this site was WONDERFUL. Always responded to my emails quickly and hotel and parking was exactly as booked. Great stay. Car was safe. Even did international conversion of money correctly! Best price hands down too!
If you're not booking for the Pope's visit, they usually can get you your first choice, otherwise the competition is hot around holidays, etc and the packages go like lightning. I've saved so much with this site, though, that I make it my business to get in early so I'm all set.
Last trip I saved >50% off airport lot parking, about 10% off the other best price, and got a free shuttle and breakfast. All I need is the best price, and I'm happy.
This gem of a place has the best prices hands down. You do have to make sure you have your confirmation email - the rep I spoke to explained the hotels confirm these packages manually, not electronically. Whatever, as long as I save money, and that's what I do when I leave my car at their listed hotels. I've never had an issue with their staff either, who've been polite and efficient whenever I called.
I recommend them.
I have never experienced such rude service in all my life... asked to speak to her supervisor and was told no one else was there and she then hung up on me! She said that I was wanting the service to fast when she had no problem talking the reservation deposit from us within 10 min! This woman and business is a complete fraud! Bull$#*! business I can't stand someone who tries to take advantage of people! She picked the wrong $#*!ing one today!
This company is not worth using- their website is not up to date and when you are giving them your credit card details to book there is no guarantee that what you are booking is available, as happened to me. They then changed me to a hotel which didn't have the full number of days parking included so I was charged more.
I booked through the website for Days Inn, Greta, LA. I had two rooms. I booked in September. They charged me $67.13 right away. In October I cancelled by phone. They told me all was taken care of. They never refunded my money minus the $10 per room charge to cancel. Then the hotel charged me $137.14 per room when I didn't stay there! I called the hotel. They would not reverse the charges and said they had to hear from the third party. The call to hotels n parking takes forever to get through. I left messages and finally did talk to someone but they have to wait for a manager to review the whole situation! I am so frustrated and agree with other reviewers when they say never again will they book with this company. I totally agree. No one should have this kind of customer service. Spare yourselves the headache. It's not worth it. I will be posting this message on social media for sure. Unhappy consumer to say the least!
They immediately took a $23 deposit, but it took 3 weeks to get a confirmation email.
After reading reviews of the motel, I decided to cancel. Following instructions from hotelnparking I tried to contact them first, but they did not answer their phone or respond to email.
So I cancelled through the motel, and got a cancellation number which I forwarded to hotelnparking. They never responded. According to their email I should have got my deposit refunded apart from a $10 processing fee.
Even though HotelnParking sent me several confirmations with the correct date of my reservation when I arrived at the hotel they had received a reservation from the site for the previous night. The hotel was completely booked and I was out a place to stay. They showed me on their computer that they had indeed been sent the wrong information. Not a good situation at 1:00 am after cross country travel!
