Everything is fine, our web is live. We haven't had any issue this 2024 with our Web. I remember last year, we have a problem with a ban, and through the Help Center chat and a pacient tecnician we were able to sort out what the problem was and in a couple of hours solve it.
My SSL Certificate has expired and your tech support has no idea what to do. Also I purchased an VPS 2 months ago and have not heard anything from your company. I hope your company can resolve these issues soon. I have been with host gator for over 5 years and I don't want to look at other hosting providers.
Been with you for over 10 years...if it is not broken... don't fix it. Customer service is not a the level as the earlier days, but I'm trying to manage and get pass the dialect difficulties. Overall ok.
I was hoping this was really easy because of the cheap, but instead i'm getting a bad response and attention from you, your vague manual is not ready for the product i purchase neither your team to solve this package
The chat support team provides misleading information regularly, Have been a victim of applying for server migration, was provided with misleading information by both chat support and migration department, until the old server fell due for renewal, the quickly demanded that i needed to renew the old server in order to do the migration, yet it was all there fault. Its very frustrating and demeaning to a client. It sends a wrong confusing signal to any client.
The absolute worse service I have ever received. My incoming and outgoing emails were down for an entire week. I called into the customer service on so many occasions and each time I was given a different excuse as to why my emails were not working. The customer service is horrendous. You don't get any real help. They hang up on you and never solve your problem.
I chose HostGator for its affordability and positive online reviews. The setup was straightforward, and the hosting has been stable and fast, which is essential for my website's performance. The user interface is intuitive, making account and service management easy.
Gator appears to have reduced the help staff, increased wait times, making it painful to resolve issues. The staff are great and pit in extra effort.
I feel that the overall package is not as good as it was.

Bad bad bad experience support going down not like before (last time 2-3 hours our support will contact you) its joke. Other said we r not a security company. It's your servers you must protect it Gator, i thinking to move to another provider.
I`ve been with hostgator for over 10 years. I`ve tried other hosting companies but none give the level of support I have come to expect and recieve from Hostgator. The support teams are exceptional, courteous and polite and resolve problems quickly. If only other suppliers were as good.
They sell all the services separately to you thats why during the checkout you will know that you have to pay more than even other host companies to them. I bought a 1 month plan to testing out is it worth it or not but after wasting I day figuring out why I am not able to restore website from Cpanel they told me I have to pay 50$ extra to activate this feature, such a scam, so if you provide Cpanel what does it mean that it does not have restoration or backup feature? Thats why I asked for refund and they said while we announce on our website that we provide 30 days refund but because you selected a 1 month plan you are not eligible for the refund. They are like scammers be away from HostGator.
I love that I can get customer service at any time, and it's quick, too. They're always helpful. I also closed my account and was able to reactivate it with no issue when I changed my mind. Such great service.
My experience with HostGator has been extremely disappointing. They took money from my account even when I canceled my subscription, showing a complete lack of integrity. Their customer support is ineffective, constantly making promises they never fulfill and leaving me frustrated. HostGator's deceptive practices and failure to take any real action are unacceptable. I strongly advise against choosing them as a hosting provider, as they prioritize their own profits over customer satisfaction.
Make sure to turn off auto renewal or ALL the HostGator hosting products. No transparency whatsoever. It goes from $2.75/month to $10 after the introductory period, a five fold increase. As a base comparison, get everything in a bundle with Hostinger and the renewal price is upfront, while HostGator nickles and dines everything single bit. You have been warned.
I was expecting email saying they fixed it. My site has been having 'virus' issues for some time now & I spoke with someone who said they were escalating the issue. I have yet to hear of a resolution. If you can have someone email me ASAP and leave a number for me to call I would like that.
I have been using Hostgator to host my websites for more than 5 years. Lately, I have had issues with hosting connection. I received an email notification to optimise my site -- which I did. However there was no communication after that. I sent numerous emails and support tickets -- to which were not attended to. My site was down for more than 4 days now and still no reply. This has drastically affected my business. I am not happy with this service and will definitely move to a different hosting provider. As an ongoing customer, you expect service.

Good choice back in that day - only use for hosting domains currently - not everyone has time to keep up with coding and the html editor that never was - isnt' helpful. Will probably eventually transfer domains elsewhere
It has been over a full day and the new hosting I bought is not set up correctly after contacting support! They created ticket ******* for level 2 tech to call me within 4 hours and assured me they will and I never got a call back.

Worst hosting service I've ever dealt with. Customer and tech support is HORRIBLE! They don't listen to what your actual issues are and they take off on their own tangents pretending to fix things that weren't broken to begin with. The server itself was AWFUL. There were so many broken and failing functions on our server that it nearly brought our business to it's knees. And your support team failed over and over to remedy these issues. If I could give you a negative rating, I would.

Answer: If you go straight to smartchat, it is very easy - you only need to find the smartchat button. I have worked with the Internet since web browsers were invented, so I know most of the answers already. That means that when I have a problem that I can't solve, it is going to be a real stinker for HostGator support to solve - I only bring them the difficult ones. Recently, I had an ISP who gave me terrible service, and the internet kept dropping out every few minutes. The Hostgator smartchat expert kept contact with me on and of for about an hour and three quarters until he had worked out the answer for me. That is what I call RELIABLE service.
