Trip was cancelled by them because of covid 19 which i understood, did not get the cancellation trip till an hour before the flight. They sent out a text for the cancellation of the trip and did NOT refund me even though it was on their behalf. Have to put a dispute with the bank. And when I look for the purchase on my hopper app, they erased my purchase but yet still have not been refunded.

Hopper is a joke. I will NEVER use it again. I messaged them for the first time February 15th about making a change to my booking and have yet to get a response. My flight was canceled and I should get a refund but I can't even get a reply! Why do they not have an email or phone number? Because they are crooks. DO NOT BOOK WITH HOPPER!

I have dealt with various travel companies in the past. Hopper was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. We had a flight to Key West for a wedding there. I bought insurance on the flight just in case. As the coronavirus hit and people were being told to shelter in place the wedding was canceled. We were in a shelter in place so I called to cancel the fight and get a refund. I was told that Coronavirus was not a valid reason to receive a refund on the ticket. That was honestly the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Goes to show how much Hopper cares about its consumers. I would NEVER recommend this company to another person.

We have been buying our flights with them and it has been wonderful. This is why im surprise that, no response from them. We have a total of three sets of flights, one to Puerto Rico March 25,2020, another to California April 16 and another to Colombia for a wedding April 29. This is so sad. I had no clue that there is no CUSTOMER Service, or PHONE number or EMAIL. I really am hoping that they will respond back soon, we have been good customers to them.

My flight that I booked through hopper was cancelled by spirit airlines and the airline sent me an email. After hours on the phone with spirit airlines they confirmed my full refund as well as sent me a confirmation on my refund. I've tried to contact hopper and I've followed all their instructions, their is no phone number and no one will respond to my request it has been 9 days now and I've opened two requests. Still I've received nothing, no response or refund. This is very unprofessional especially because the airline has already refunded the money to hopper and it has been confirmed.

Hard to reach

I booked a flight but due to coronavirus I message for them to switch it and still have not heard back from them. I just want my flight switched and it's becoming so difficult. I used hopper before and they're usually excellent so I'm annoyed at this moment.

Response was they are very busy but they will handle soon as possible but I am traveling less than a week and nothing as been resolve and no contact. This is terrible service and I do not recommend to anybody. I was about to book my summer trip to but I dont trust them anymore so I couldn't book

I cannot believe the horrible customer service provided by Hopper. I could not travel with these travel bans and the airlines were offering free rescheduling, but yet Hopper will not answer my multiple attempts at contact for the past 2 weeks. All that answers is the stupid bot and its some generic canned response about how they are overwhelmed with people contacting them. Well No Duh! My flight has left without me on it because of your unprofessionalism in running of a business. So basically Hopper has stolen my money.

Hopper attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Needed Assistance
April 20, 2020

I like the app, however I lost my $40 freeze deposit. I made several attempts to book my flight that was price frozen BEFORE the due date, but it was unsuccessful with an error notice. There is no way to contact customer support or chat with someone unless you have booked a flight already from my understanding. I'm disappointed and I hope someone can get in contact with me ASAP please.

I created an account ( linked to a phone number I had while overseas) and bought a flight home. I had to purchase a second flight avoiding China to get home safely and I haven't been able to contact anyone from hopper about getting a refund for that first flight. Because I changed my phone number I have no access to that old account where the tickets were purchased. Your system is flawed and does not work. You need an email or better yet phone number for people to contact who can't access their accounts. I have spent an extra 800 dollars with you guys and got nothing back for this

I purchased a roundtrip ticket to London, England through Hopper. Due to the current Coronavirus crisis, I can't fly. I've been trying to change my flight dates. If I can cancel without losing any money I'm willing to do that. I've been trying both Hopper and BA and I keep getting the runaround. BA says that I need to deal with my travel agent(hopper) and Hopper keeps telling me to deal with the airline. I paid Hopper directly and they should handle it.

I booked a hotel with hopper a week before my trip. My event got cancelled and I tried cancelling the hotel and getting refunded and I was being told by hopper I need to contact the hotel directly for a refund, and the hotel was telling me I needed to speak with hopper. I was going back and forth for days trying to get refunded. They don't care about your trips during these times. Go directly with the hotel, because the hotel told me they would refund me if I didn't go through a third party.

I'm trying to contact a hopper representative to request my refund for 5 days now and no answers. The flight company offered me the refund because the flight was cancelled but since i bought it from this $#*!ty app the money went to another bank account. So I definitely don't recommend the use of this app because if you have some problem you will probably be left without support.

I was hospitalised so had to cancel and thought was all good but AON wanted specific form filled out, the hospital gave hospitilasation note but this was not good enough for them. I gave access to hospital records but hospital did not respond so no refund. Shameful that hopper who i had no issues with deal with a shady company so they lost a customer through this

I'll begin by saying that I am very aware and sympathetic to the high volume of requests businesses, airlines and travel services especially, have been receiving in response to the travel ban and the COVID-19 global epidemic.

That said, I would hope that flights would be prioritized based on departure date and that at least some sort of response can be given to reassure the customer. I received nothing of the sort from Hopper. Airbnb was able to give me a full refund on my two bookings within 24 hours. I still have not heard anything back from Hopper since my flight left for Paris LAST NIGHT, and I had been trying for days before the flight departure to change my ticket. I was finally connected with someone named Gladys (a day before my flight), who said they would look into communicating with the airline during business hours. I never heard from her since. I would hope for some sort of update, rather than the complete radio silence I've been hit with. Even if the airline refused to give us the full refund, which I understand is out of Hopper's control, we would have been willing to change our flights to a later date this year to avoid any cancellation or no-show penalties.

I was growing anxious as my flight was fast-approaching and I still heard nothing from Hopper. I messaged several times pleading to change the ticket in any way before the flight so as not to get charged. And unfortunately, the only way we could change anything on our flight is through Hopper (we tried calling the airline); everything has been in Hopper's hands and I am reiterating that they have been completely unresponsive. This is highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and the way they have been dealing with this global crisis tells me everything I need to know about the way they function as a business and their poor dedication to customer service. I am extremely disappointed and if I had any doubts about the app before, they have now been fully confirmed and I will never be using it again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone. I wanted to give the app another chance as I had used it in the past successfully. But should you need to change ANY part of your ticket in a timely manner, you can forget about it and consider your money lost. It's shameful. I am still waiting for some kind of response, refund, travel credit, or just acknowledgement and respect as a customer asking for a service this app promised and has not been giving.

Good morning
I have used your service several times for flights for my family and for business purposes as well. Your actions doing this crisis has shocked me and absolutely made me rethink my use of your services.
I have been going back and forth between your company and Oman air to try and come to a realistic end to this situation. It is sad that you both are willing to take advantage of this terrible situation that has cause EVERYONE emotionally and financially harm.
For you and Oman air to charge fees for a situation that we have no control of and is a world wide shutdown show your lack of empathy for others and your heart for the people who use your services. It is disheartening and despicable of both companies.
It's with this I will make sure any recommendation of your company will not be in the best light and I will relay to them to not use your company because of your disregard to the situation at hand.

Horrible

Booked a hotel thru hopper. I have Been looking for hours for a number for customer service have been trying to chat thru messages on their app and they are all unread. My event was cancelled due to Coronavirus and called the hotel and they are willing to refund my non refundable deposit but this stupid app has no customer service so there is no way to figure this out. Unbelievable... does not even deserve 1 star! Worst customer service I have Ever in my life had to deal with!

Hello, on March 10th i tried booking a flight with a refundable ticket plan but at the time of payment i had an error message and today I checked with the bank i see that you charge me the 15 dollars for the refundable plan for a flight that couldn't buy. I would like a refund. BUT DONT HAVE A WAY TO CONTACT HOPPER IF I DONT BUT ANYTHING THERE IS NO CHAT, TELEPHONE, EMAIL. NOTHING.
