I found the website very useful. I looked up local roofing contractor and found a company local with high review marks and after selecting and using them found it to be very accurate. I am happy with my selection and was much cheaper than the default person that approached me knocking on the doors.

Many people responded. Finally, I chose Lion Glass Installation because it's licensed, reasonable price and reliable on all communications.
The Angie site referred several companies to me that could not fix my issue. They just wanted to sell me more gutter guards. But, a few other individuals were referred that had the skill set and desire to fix what I have. I certainly had more than one vendor to choose from. However, I felt like the price for the repair really exceeded the amount of time needed to remedy my problem. Since the job was costed over the phone, there was no way for that person to kNow what was needed. In any case, $360/hr is pretty steep.
The experience is always easy. I fill out an information form describing the job and then I will get texts or emails from possible vendors. Then I just schedule the visits to get an estimate for the job.

The reminders and follow up are fantastic. Really appreciated receiving back up referrals in the event the first referrals did not respond. On the down side, disappointed more than half of the contractors did not respond at all.
