I FOUND THIS COMPANY ON ANGI'S LIST WITH A PERFECT RATING EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD BAD GOOGLE REVIEWS! I contracted with the owner, Bryan, to resod my front yard due to Hurricane Ian. He told me $3,200 if I got my own permit. The city scheduled an inspector to come stake the perimeter on July 11th. Brian text me and said he wanted his crew to scrap off the dead grass before the city came out. He got the dates wrong and sent his crew out on July 4th, a week early! After the city came out on July 11th, I text Bryan and said we were ready for SOD install. Ten days go by. Unannounced...they showed up on Friday, July 21st. I received a call from Bryan to tell me that since it had been so long since the yard had been "scraped," the weeds had taken over and it would have to be scraped AGAIN at an extra cost of $500 TO ME! After we argued he showed up on my door step to argue some more. I told him he had me by my "___", that I had to choice but to agree because I could tell he was not going to complete my job or was going to put new SOD over the weeds. He said the SOD farms had been closed due to heavy unexpected rains even though we have not had our normal rain amount as it is our rainy season here in SW Florida. But he said this situation was out of his control and he was taking the brunt of the loss. He also added that his original contract says that his company is not responsible for weather delays. But I just looked and IT DOES NOT SAY THAT ANYWHERE! I should have trusted GOOGLE reviews! I am a business owner and I will pay out of pocket for extra situations that arise to maintain my excellent customer service reputation.

I filled out three boxes on Agni's list to help my fiancé look for work for his new business.etc. He started a Angi Ad's as a contractor, then some "friendly" person started harassing, constantly calling from Angi Lead's, aka home advisor. The said person, Justin Dettore, kept pushing and being absolutely unacceptable (after 17 calls in the span of four days) at this point when my fiancé said he hasn't received his business card yet and couldn't afford to pay another $300 with a different card for Justin's service's, Justin then pushed for my fiancé to use other peoples cards. Anyones, Justin did not care, when he said "what about your fiancés card?" He wouldn't take no as an answer, when my fiancé told him that I wouldn't give him my card info and that I "think it's a scam," ( I think it's a waste of money mostly when he is just starting his business and needs to feel out the other Angi Ads first.) Justin, Justin Dettore, said that I need to be open minded and that he cares and wants to help my fiancé build his business and help his family, saying ridiculous and so many unprofessional statements/ lies. (Almost aggressive negative statements to my fiancé about myself, he didn't know he was on speaker and I heard everything he said, but all because I refused to give my card information) I am so disgusted that not only does this company have so many complaints about being pushy, but the employees they have and how unprofessional and absolutely disrespectful makes the company look even worse.
I was skeptical, I thought the pushy calls was weirder, after hearing this employee today.
I, 100%, say stay the hell away.
It seems like a scam, but only because the employees are most likely making their wages/commission based on how many cards they can run. Justin Dettore from Angi lead's or Home Advisor (he can't keep his story straight) is absolutely disrespectful, unprofessional and doesn't deserve any percentage from your money, let alone your own company.
