Good experience, would like to see more information on items. Pictures can be deceiving
My experience bidding with Ruito Trading Inc was terrible. When I arrived, despite booking an appointment, there was a long line and my order was not ready. I stood there for 10 minutes while they found my items - BOTH times. And both times, something in my order was incorrect. I took back one item that was clearly wrong and they said they would refund me when they were done because they were busy. It's been three days and they have not returned my money. I followed up via email and have been ignored. They are THIEVES
Hi Julia, we’re sorry to hear about your experience with Ruito Trading Inc. Since you've already tried contacting them with no response, we recommend reaching out to our support team at (844) 775-4774. While each auction company manages its own operations, our team may be able to help facilitate communication.
The website is great from a workstation or laptop, it is easy to use and navigate. Unfortunately the same can not be said when using it from a smartphone. It is functional but navigate is more difficult and the display is atrocious. Only seeing one item on my screen at a time when trying to view the catalog is not a sustainable way to view the auctions.
Thank you for your feedback, Jeremy! We’re glad to hear you find the website easy to use on a workstation or laptop, but we understand your concerns about the mobile experience. We’re actively working on updates to improve mobile navigation and display, ensuring a smoother and more user-friendly experience. Your input is valuable, and we appreciate your patience as we make these improvements—thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Hard to find what you are bidding on at times. Increments would be nice to fine tune more. Overall a decent experience with some room for improvement.
Bidding is easy and there are a lot of options. More than I expected!
Thank you for your feedback, M T.! We’re glad you find the site useful and appreciate the ease of bidding and the variety of options. Just to clarify, bid increments are set by each auctioneer, so they can vary between auctions. We appreciate your suggestions and want you to know that improvements and updates are on the way to enhance the overall experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Good experience overall. I wish the individual listers would have a more standard shipping protocol.
Thank you, Chris, for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear you had a good overall experience with HiBid and that the listing agent was able to assist in getting your item shipped.
We understand your wish for a more standardized shipping protocol across individual listers and appreciate your input. Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve the platform and ensure a consistent experience for all users.
Thank you for choosing HiBid, and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Happy bidding!

Why a minimum number of words?
Ok service was just ok after being made to write a paragraph!
Thank you for the five-star review! We appreciate your feedback and are glad you took the time to share your experience with us.
On Saturday January 25,2025 I was the highest bidder on an auction being conducted by Laywell Auction. After the bidding closed, the pickup was the next day, Sunday. With Sunday being the only pickup day and not being able to do that, I contacted John (Laywell Auction). John told me to send him an email and he would get back to me on Sunday to schedule a pickup time for Monday. I sent the email, no response from John. I called his number yesterday, followed by another email...no response. I called his number again this morning...no response. My queston to you is; does Laywell Auction represent the type of customers you approve of? But then again your response is not needed as John must have no concern with how you manage your website or else he would not conduct himself as unprofessionally as he does. The one positive thing about this experience, I will disassociate myself from HiBid so that this type of experience will not reoccur.
Hi Walter, thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be when communication falls short during the auction process. While HiBid serves as a platform connecting bidders and auctioneers, each auction house operates independently and is responsible for their own customer service and policies.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience with Laywell Auction. How auctioneers handle their business is indeed a reflection of their professionalism, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. HiBid hosts many auctioneers, and we encourage you to explore other sellers on the platform who have demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. We hope to provide you with a much better experience in the future. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.
If you pre-bid and set your limit it's excellent. Sometimes during live bidding you will get errors and could miss out on your items
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you find the pre-bid feature helpful. Setting your limit ahead of time is a great way to secure your bids without worry. We’re sorry to hear about the occasional errors during live bidding and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re always working to improve the platform to ensure the best possible experience for all our users. If you have any specific issues, please feel free to reach out—we’re here to help!
There are so many different auction companies some are reputable some are not if you register to bid with a particular auction they can give you a negative review which you cannot see nor have you ever deserved it will cause you to not be able to bid on any other auction guilty until proven innocent and no one at hi bid will help you. Some auction companies are very slow to respond, but HiBid never gets involved. If you call the actual Auction Company directly, they will tell you that the parent company does little to help them either.
Thank you for sharing your experience with HiBid. We understand that receiving a negative review can be frustrating, especially if you feel it was unwarranted. HiBid serves as a platform connecting bidders with independent auction companies, each with its own policies and review practices. While HiBid facilitates the bidding process, the review systems are managed individually by each auction house, and HiBid does not intervene in specific feedback given by independent auction companies.
However, we value transparency and believe all users should have a fair opportunity to participate in auctions. If you feel a negative review was issued in error, we encourage you to contact the auction house directly for clarification, as they can provide the context and possibly resolve any misunderstandings. For ongoing issues or if you have additional concerns, please reach out to HiBid customer support so we can better address your experience and provide any guidance or support within our capacity.
Does a good job listing and is easy to work with. Nothing but good to say about it.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Bob! We’re thrilled to hear you find the platform easy to work with and that you’ve had a great experience. Your support means a lot to us—happy bidding!
Bidding was fine. I am having my sampler shipped, so will see how that goes.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Mary! We’re glad to hear your bidding experience went smoothly. We hope the shipping process goes just as well and that you enjoy your sampler. Your support means a lot to us—happy bidding!
I have had multiple experiences where the item was not described correctly or misleading description. I'm seriously considering not using this site anymore. Buyers beware of auctioneer and description.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve had multiple experiences with misleading descriptions, as we strive to create a trustworthy marketplace where buyers can feel confident in their purchases.
Each auction house on HiBid is responsible for listing and describing items accurately, and we encourage sellers to provide clear, detailed descriptions and photos. We’re also committed to holding auctioneers to high standards, and we’ll share your feedback with our team to reinforce this with our sellers.
If you encounter any issues with specific items or sellers in the future, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We’d be happy to investigate and assist further.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address these concerns, and we hope to improve your experience on HiBid.
I enjoy using hibid and being able to bid on items in the convenience of my own home. I've never had any issues with payment or receiving my items in a timely manner.
Thanks, Chad! We're so glad to hear you've had a smooth and convenient experience with HiBid. Happy bidding, and we appreciate you being a valued part of the HiBid community!
I put in 1 bid on AUCTION FLEX. They denied it and sent an email saying I've been permanently banned from ever bidding on their site but did not offer a reason as to why. Would you be able to explain? I've never had this happen on any bidding site I belong to and I'm on many. I buy lots of things. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Dalila! We’re glad to hear you had a good experience overall, but we’re sorry to learn about the issue you encountered with one auction site. Each auctioneer sets their own terms and manages their bidder approvals independently. Unfortunately, HiBid doesn’t have control over individual auctioneer decisions.
We recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneer for clarification on their decision. If you’d like, we can send them a message on your behalf to assist in resolving this. Additionally, you can contact HiBid Support at 844-775-4774 if you have further questions or need additional assistance. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re here to help!
I would like response from la item won to ship. However it is a good place to find stuff looking for and bid on
Thanks for your review! We're glad to hear that you’ve found HiBid to be a good place to find and bid on items. We understand your desire for quicker communication regarding shipping, and while HiBid facilitates the bidding process, each seller is responsible for handling shipments. We recommend reaching out directly to the seller for updates on the shipping of your item.
Thanks again for sharing your experience, and happy bidding!
Overall the experience has been good. I just wish there were some failsafe measures that can be placed to prevent auction houses from inflating cost to the max number bid. In a very few auctions (mainly the larger houses) I have noticed that they employ people to increase bid numbers to maximum number bid by bidding up to, but never over the highest number bid on random items. I have literally watched while the items I have bid on are artificially increased to one increment under my highest bid, always the highest dollar items. I'm not sure whether this is done by human or programmed bot, but it is definitely happening. I have no idea how you can battle this plague as it is almost completely random (except for random high bid items) and probably impossible to prove whether it is a legitimate bid or auctioneer subterfuge. I for the most part have identified a few offenders and reached out to them directly. They of course have denied any wrong doing and even momentarily haulted the practice where my bids were concerned only to resume them shortly after. Again, making it almost impossible to prove. All they have to do is follow the bid increment increase until it jumps an increment, thus telling them what the highest bid is and stop bidding... i.e. $2, 4, 6,...10... stop bidding at $6 and you have pushed the bid to the max number without going over. This entirely defeats the purpose of an honest auction not to mention it's massively unethical. For now all I can do is identify when I've been cheated and never use the offending auction house again. It would be great if HiBid could help in fighting these thieves directly.
We're sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the bidding process. At HiBid, we strive to ensure fair and competitive bidding, especially during those intense last-minute moments. We actively block bots and take shill bidding very seriously to maintain the integrity of our auctions.
We’d like to investigate this further and ensure your experience is improved. Please check your email, as we’ve reached out to gather more details about your situation.
Thank you for helping us uphold a trustworthy auction environment.
I do go to a lot of live auctions and have for years; this was my first on line auction. Much like a live auction, you have to wait for your item to come up. The only problem I have is that I like to know who I'm bidding against.
Thank you for your feedback, Rick! We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with your first online auction. It’s true that online auctions are similar to live ones in many ways, though we understand the difference in not knowing who you’re bidding against. Your input is valuable, and we’ll continue working to enhance the experience for all bidders. We hope to see you in future auctions—happy bidding!
Be sure if you are having items shipped that you check their terms. Many charge handling fees while others include shipping.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you’ve found value in HiBid and appreciate your insight about shipping and handling charges. Since each seller sets their own terms, it’s always a good idea to review their policies carefully before bidding. Your feedback helps us remind sellers to keep their terms clear and consistent for a smoother experience.
We value your input and look forward to continuing to serve you on HiBid!
Absolutely the easiest pickup of items ever! Organized and very friendly sellers. Believe me, I have been buying /selling a LONG time and these folks were a pleasure to deal with. Excellent all around.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your pickup experience was smooth and that the sellers were friendly and well-organized. It’s always great to know that our platform connects buyers like you with quality auction experiences.
We appreciate having you as part of the HiBid community and look forward to helping you find more nearby auctions. If there’s anything we can do to enhance your experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
It was awesome. And the auction place was about 30 mins north of us. Everything went better than I could of expected. Thank u so much for a great experience.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Kathy! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great experience. It’s wonderful that everything went smoothly, and we’re so glad we could exceed your expectations. Your support means a lot to us—thank you for being part of our community! 🌟
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
Thank you for your feedback, Eddie! We’re glad to hear you had a good experience overall. We understand the importance of detailed item information, as pictures can sometimes be misleading. Since auctioneers manage item descriptions and photos, we recommend reaching out to them directly if you have specific questions about an item. Your input helps us and the sellers improve, and we appreciate you sharing it—happy bidding!
