I have been participating in online auctions for about two years. I am used to each item having a short description along with pictures of measuring tapes to show the size of the item. I feel at a disadvantage bidding without full disclosure. I do like the fact that they send me an email when I'm outbid along with links to the item so I can go back and increase my bid with ease.

I received an item from Jager Holdings LLC dba Jager Auction and it was clearly a fake brand. After selling so many antiques, I would think they can tell real quality from bad quality. They marked it as unverified but I would think their expertise could tell how it feels. It weighs about an ounce, painted on screws, and no markings on the glasses. All other carrier glasses that have been sold by them had clear markings and clear pictures including the serial numbers. It feels as though they left out the nosepiece which would let bidders know it was fake. I am out of 300 dollars because we were misled by the description. For the record, I have had no other issues with my purchases with other sellers.

This auction software always crashes in the closing minutes of an auction. It has happened to me every time I've bid with them. Also I am used to other auction sites letting you know if you've been outbid. This one doesnt

Got to the auction they couldn't find anything I bid on had a car parked in front of the forklift I won(nothing like description said it ran. That thing wouldn't take thousands of dollars to run again, I don't even know if that would help)at auction told me to move it gave me keys it didn't run it took 6 hours to get out of where they had it.it was the worst auction experience I'll never get anything from them again

I bought what was supposed to be a new in the box Breville Oracle expresso machine through Globe Auctions. It was definitely not that! Internal pumps had been previously frozen and destroyed. Verified by the Breville repair technician. I should have been suspicious when I opened the box and many key pices where missing. I had multiple emails with them to discuss this but they chose to hide behind their dislaimer. I'm now out $2200 but have a nice looking, non functioning machine. I guess this morally bankrupt business must be proud of their auction practices.
Not sure how I was supposed to look inside a mew expresso machine for damage. Just be prepared you may have to do the same.

I hit the ask the auctioneer button and asked a question, it was a day or two before the auction. I got no response back. Kind of pointless to have a button for questions if no one is going to answer. Most auctions I see the auction company doesn't tell you if the item is operational and rarely ever list vital information, such as dimensions of the item listed. I miss in person auctions.

Platform is great. Sometimes hard to find auctions you are trying to keep an eye without registering. Also kept disconnecting during the live portion of the auction.

I bid on the auction and loved it, but I paid for my items first thing in the morning, I was told to send an etransfer and they would send me a tracking later in the day when it was shipped? Now I'm told it's being shipped tomorrow, so as long as everything gets here ok I'll be ecstatic, if not I'm kinda of screwed because my payment was through etransfer which is non refundable, but it's worth the risk! If everything goes well I will definitely be a repeat customer

I was disappointed greatly at the end. I was trying to watch two items in the end and when I tried to go to my other item it sent me off somewhere and I lost the item. Very disappointed as it was going to be a gift.

I have been using this for a while and it's pretty easy to use but when I got the receipt for the items I won, I noticed the total was a bit higher than it should have been. I looked closer and see that there is a $2 per each lot number you win plus the 18% fee on top of that.I will no longer bid online, especially this one in Visalia.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
