The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

It was great and o found a lot of wonderful stuff and useful things that I can use and needed
I have enjoyed going to live auctions for many years, and had a large collection of antiques. Over the past several years I have started using online auction services. I like using this service as it is multiple auctions in any place you may be in at any given time. Mostly, I love searching for things I can use at a lower price than buying from a store. I am having a great time using this, and have found some amazing deals!
Thank you for your amazing 5-star review Mary! We're thrilled to hear that you've been enjoying our online auction services. It's fantastic to know that you've found some amazing deals and that our platform has provided you with a convenient way to search for items you can use at lower prices. We appreciate your continued support and wish you many more successful bidding experiences. Happy hunting for more treasures!
I like that you have live bidding upon closing. It is also so easy to use. Very convenient
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you appreciate our live bidding feature.
Terrific venue to find treasures. Great platform and sellers. A+++. Hibid provides an easily understood and navigable site. Rules and expectations are clearly stated. Bidding is a breeze with the 'soft close' method. Sellers have, to my experience, been helpful and communicative. This site is growing! Many unique and interesting lots are up for auction every day.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review! We're thrilled to hear that you've had such a great experience on HiBid and that you've found some treasures on our platform. Thank you for choosing HiBid!
Apparently somewhere on Hibid, sellers can leave feedback about the buyers. I apparently have some negative notes. When I tried to address/see them there is NOWHERE for me to go, and Hibid couldn't help get the information. Other auctioneers can see them but not me. I admit to occasionally forgetting I have a bid but I always try to pay and usually offer to compensate for the inconvenience. This is wrong, cause the auction houses are denying registering for auction based on this information, that I can't see or address. I will not use a company that is spreading such negative information about me. Makes me fill like I need a lawyer.
We apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced, and we appreciate your feedback. We recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneers you've interacted with to discuss any concerns and seek resolution.

It is an amazing site that I am absolutely loving! It's perfect for my personal and business needs. It is time saving and extremely user friendly.
Thank you
It was very helpful and efficient in promptly reimbursing the state sales tax, which was greatly appreciated.
I bought over $10.000 worth of stuff from HiBid auctioneers and always paid for the merchandise yet I am told that my "HiBid score" is low and many auctioneers do not let me bid on their merchandise. Moreover, am not allowed to to sell there. I am switching to BidSpririt.

HiBid enables fraudulent shill bidding practices by allowing sellers or auctioneers see maximum bids. This promotes the sellers to bid up to your maximum bid without the intent of buying the item. SHAME ON THEM FOR ENABLING UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR.
We take reports of unethical behavior seriously, and we appreciate your feedback. HiBid strives to maintain a trustworthy marketplace for buyers and sellers.
To investigate and address your concerns, we encourage you to contact our bidder support team at (844) 775-4774. Provide specific details about the auction or auctions in question, and we will take appropriate action.
We are committed to maintaining the integrity of our platform and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a fair bidding environment.
New rule od anything under$20 os final sale whether it's not working or missing parts is terrible
And items over$20 they still will not return
Do not deal with this criminal organization
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Pleae keep in mind, return policies are determined by each individual auctioneer. HiBid does not set these policies, as auction houses have their own terms and conditions.
If you're dissatisfied with an auctioneer's policies, we recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for assistance. They may provide clarification or assistance regarding your concerns.
We apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced and appreciate your understanding. If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to contact our bidder support team at (844) 775-4774. Thanks!
Learned a lot of lessons. Just because it says 'shipping available' means nothing. The Canadian Auctions are the worst, ignore them. They like to sell your winnings by emailing you the invoice, then say you paid late. They keep your money, resell your win, and report you for being a late payment. The other one that does this are the Kentucky ones. There are some good ones, though. The Hibid site only takes Auction complaints, not the bidder. I left this site after too many losses and very rude Auctioneers.
We appreciate your feedback, and we understand the importance of maintaining a fair and transparent marketplace. We want to assure you that your concerns are taken seriously.
We would like to hear more on the auctioneers in question and issue specifics. We highly encourage our bidders to contact our bidder support team at (844) 775-4774 if they encounter issues with auctioneers, such as misrepresentation or other unethical practices. Your input helps us investigate and address any concerns promptly.
Your feedback is crucial in shaping a better experience for all users.
HiBid.com is like the Wild West with even less accountability. Many auction houses post purposely misleading, broken and outright counterfeit items. Not only does HiBids not hold them accountable but as a buyer you can not leave reviews, reporting them to HiBids does nothing because their customer service is equally distasteful and malcontent. Seller's not only can get away with fraudulent practices, they leave little to no descriptions, put as is, mislabel and mislead, shill bid and price gouge shipping. To top all of this off Seller's can leave reviews on buyers that only sellers can see, and they can do it anonymously, so not only can they leave bad reviews about buyers for any reason under the sun, but a buyer can be shut down from bidding- unable to know what, why, from whom, contest or defend themselves, unable to receive refunds, absolutely nothing. HiBids customer service response is the same, "there's nothing you can do, back track all of your auctions you've bid on and speak to each one individually and see if they will admit to a negative review and change it otherwise make a new account with a different email address". It baffles me how a site like this not most of its shady auctioneers aren't neck deep in legal issues. The whole structure in place is completely one sided on purpose and HiBids is content with it as long as they get their cut of the profit because they knowingly exploit all of the legal loopholes and don't even deny it when you eventually speak to one of their representatives. I highly recommend avoiding this site thoroughly or limit yourself to local in state auctioneers that you can inspect for yourself in person assuming they let you, alot of the deceitful auctioneers are catching on and making bidding online only with no in person inspections, pickups or payments all under the guise of "COVID Safety". Tread very carefully for the sake of being scammed and retaliated against.
In my limited experience with HiBid and online auction houses is that HiBid doesn't seem to vet the auction houses; thus my 2-star review.
I've done one transaction with a local (to me) auction house, and it was perfect. I got exactly what was described and the costs were exactly as I expected.
Round 2 began when I started bidding on silver from the other side of the USA. I asked a question of the auctioneer that seemed to make them bid on their own auction. In fact, of the 100 or so lots I was watching (bidding on a few), the price magically jumped to just under my Max Bid on one auction, I was outbid on the others up to about retail price, and the ones I was only watching were bid up to retail as well. Of those 90 or so lots I was watching only, bids suddenly appeared on ALL of them too, and the bidders' anonomized names were conspicuously absent. Instead, the listed bidder was "Other Website, Phone, Mail in, absentee bids". That's clearly bull$#*!. What just happened is the auctioneer bid on their own listings to protect the auction item from selling too low or at all, even though they list $1 starting prices and "no reserve".
In short, if you're going to bid via this portal called HiBid, check the selling auction house for honesty, integrity, and history. I checked this seller (unnamed) before the auction closed, and it was an UGLY picture. Their reviews were horrible, so I made sure they could not charge my card BEFORE the auction closed. I'm glad I did...
I think HiBid should vet these auction houses before allowing them to use HiBid as a portal to rip off consumers, but that's just me $.02 worth... I hope it helps some unsuspecting buyer out there.
Disappointed missing 5 things they took money out canit get a hold of now want answer there phone trying this week they must have phone off hook been busy every day
If you're like me, you're not just shopping an auction for good deals, but because you like the thrill of the auction itself. I have participated in two auctions with Texas HiBid and I can promise you that I will not do it again. Most recently, I purchased 3 items (2 microwaves and a heat lamp), it has been 3 weeks and the items still have not shipped. Every time I call, someone tells me that they should be going out any day now & they would ship with FedEx. Someone told me 4 days ago that they would push the items through. Today someone told me they would look into it & after I pleaded with him to please take care of it, he promised he would. Well he just called back to say they have charged me for the shipping, but they are having trouble with their FedEx labels, so he has no tracking info for me. Guess what…. Shipping cost more than the items! So here I have been waiting for 3 weeks and they haven't even shipped, but charged me MORE than the items cost to ship them from Austin to Fort Worth. So. If you are thinking of purchasing here, be kind to yourself and DO NOT DO IT.
This company is a bunch of rip offs
Mist of the time i have missing item and not getting a refund.there customer service sucks.the last items i purchased i have not received a refund and i cant get a hold of anyone.
Do not buy from these croaks.
Noel auctions are very professional very proficient and a wonderful team to work with I've done many options with them and will continue to do so thank you

I sent an email twice to this auction advising them of the fake coin, with an additional link for them to verify the truth in what I presented to them. Have they pulled the coin from the auction? NO! They show the weight in a photo (link above) to be.250 grams; The reference link shows a correct weight to be more of a quarter troy ounce of gold. http://numismatics.org/collection/*******363 My advice to those that pay an overly amount of fees in buyer's premiums, in part to Hibid and in part to the auction company, should expect truth and originality to the item(s) being auctioned. My advice to participants would be to, read and research, as much as you can, on items to protect yourself against the Fraud that exist in these auctions, the buyer's premiums 10-20%+, excess shipping costs and "mostly the items!" Take some time to point this out to your friends and associates. They are many other places to find most anything, besides throwing your money away!
Berger coins do not ship there coins. Look out, rip off company. How can I receive someone else's coins what a joke of a company.
This people on ONE STOP AUCTION SHOP want to charge me 108.00 DLLs for shipping.for 4 small collectibles cars 7 inches long and a barometer like 1 foot long and a clock box around 1 foot long.108 DLLs for shipping.this items weight around 4 lbs.all together.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IF YOU GOING TO GET IT SHIP.they will screw you on shipping.this people can't be thrust.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to know that our platform has been helpful to you. Thank you for the positive review!
