LOVE this show...
April 17, 2018

Why must everyone follow a certain standard? Erin & Ben are down to earth and create rooms that are not unattainable for the average person.

Why are people so judgmental... take a look in the mirror---

Lately is boring and repetitive, years back your decorations shows were gorgeous now is remodeling and very fake shows, tired of viewing same type shows.
If nothing new comes soon, is time to find another channel.

When did the robot with the female voice become incorporated in House Hunters? The episode of the couple buying a home in Mesa AS was extremely irritating. Please allow the viewers to use their own brains.

I'm done. 1 out of 4 people aren't gay. Which appears to about how many gay buyers there are on the HGTV programming. How do I explain this to my grandchildren? A real shame, because the idea is good. The worst is House International, where they often produce shoddy programming where the beds aren't made, and the repetitive dialogue is ridiculous. See ya!

Watching this couple is like watching paint dry. No offense but it is painful. They are too dry to host a show. The design is not much better. They are taking the character out of the home and making it cookie cutter rather than a balance. I just watched them put leftover siding over a beautiful brick character home and paint it all... blasphemy!

The worst
April 27, 2017

This has got to be the worst show on HGTV. I cringe just from seeing the previews. They're awful and have no talent. This show needs to be cancelled to make room for someone with talent. It's plain to see these two are trying too hard to cover the fact that they're clueless.

Thank heavens I found this site. I felt so bad because I thought I was the only one who dislikes Home Town. I also find the "get up and do it" obnoxious and irritating. Dare I say smug and self-righteous? Keep the show, HGTV, if you want, but please, please ditch the commercial.

All high end shows
December 1, 2020

I was watching one of your shows and the budget was 700,000.00 dollars. The next show had 500,000.00 one
How many people in your target audience have these kind of projects falling into the old This old house trap
All of your shows are like this. Find someone that can give you a show that average people can relate to
O the only reason i was watching a channel on my cable and nothing else on now not watching you.

I would like to let you know that David who hosts Lottery Dream home is disgusting.
He has No class. He is always talking about money to the couple like You
Know you can afforded it now and always reminds them that they are Millionaires now.
Always making inappropriate comments. Also he puts his comments in like you can remove this wall and do this and that and it's like he is trying to set up future jobs for himself. Being Gay is perfectly fine but don't explode in flames on the set.
Watch a few shows and be amazed at his fake laugh and his rude comments to his clients. I enjoyed the show but I can't watch and hear David anymore every episode
Is nauseating.

HGTV HOME TOWN
March 12, 2017

Home Town just aired one episode and I already feel that it should stop airing more. These people are awful, the show is terrible, the couple tries way too hard to be like Chip & Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper. WAY too hard. They repeat things Chip & Jo say, take their ideas (even like the most recent using a bowling alley floor as the island countertop). I feel their work quality is not good, they are not good at designing and fixing the space, and I feel like the husband knows nothing about construction! He can barely demo. I will never watch this show and do not want it taking time away from the shows that do deserve to be on HGTV

I love watching hgtv for great home inspiration but since the new flip or flop is on I turn the channel off. I can't stand Christina's nasty comments and eye rolls towards Tarik. If they can't stand each other why is this on? Please take it off I'd rather watch reruns of any of your other shows.

One Of A Kind
August 26, 2023

Fixer Upper, Home Town and Fixer to Fabulous are still my favorites, but this one is so good. I hope it is extended to a 1hr show next week. We are missing so much with just a half hr.

Can I just enjoy the great shows without the constant reminder that we are in a pandemic? I am so tired of the depressing commercials. If I want depression then I will just skip my favorite shows and watch CNN. Please stop!

I do not agree with the reviews I have read. I think they are good folks with a mission to save their town and help people. I love the restorations and the designs in the homes. Yes, maybe Erin does put a little too much junk and clutter into the houses, but that's not worthy of the critical reviews.

Hometown Joke!
April 2, 2017

The new show on HGTV Hometown is terrible I watched the first episode for about 20 minutes and had to turn it off. If this is what Hgtv has to resort to things must be really bad. Please stop showing this crap. Ohh and please stop trying to push this on us. Your advertising this crap on every commercial break. Enough!

I use to like this show as I like the "charitable" aspect of it. Doing something good for others. I now realize that this is nothing short of the biggest con of all times. This is is a business for these two. Erin tried to come across as this sweet, meek and mild woman however, in reality she is manipulative, driven and extremely competitive person. She deliberately sets people up by using her child (she will show a picture without showing her face). That is fine but as soon as someone comments, she is all over them about "how dare they criticize her" why do this? She wants the attention. She wants to be able to jump all over them about her privacy. If she wants privacy, then fine. Don't even go there.

Flip or Flop always seemed to have so much drama; then marital problems, then the spinoff Christina, now her social life, new boyfriend, blah, blah, blah! Is she holding something over HGTV's head? Her new show is terrible! Very little decorating, way too much music and social status information. HGTV, this is a new low! And you are bringing the first show back? STOP!
