Home town people are beyond obnoxious. I can't even stand to hear the commercials
I mute the TV. How about the good shows like "Love it or list it" or Rehab Addict.

Good bones
August 17, 2017

This TV show is the worst and most boring of all the daytime and nighttime HGTV shows. Same overalls, same digging with the backhoe, same laughter, and same unbelievable chain saws in the hands of mother and daughter. I watch HGTV every Tues night but must find another channel when this Good Bones show comes on.

Mostly good shows. Enjoy watching reruns of Good Bones, Property Brothers and Fixer Upper. DO NOT like HOME TOWN. Am turned off by the star hosts. Wife seems to be the pusher. Please cancel this one.

The TV waves belong to the people, so why must we watch permanent ads like flip or flop on the lower right of the screen. It's greedy and tacky for the network to place signs on our screens.

Erin and Ben are NOT like any other couple doing old house remodeling or renovations on television, and guess what... we don't want them to be! They are young and fun, obviously enjoy working and building a life together, and they have ideas that work for Laurel, Mississippi residents and younger couples across the country who can't afford to start from scratch with a home renovation. (I am writing from Texas. And, yes, I am a fan of Fixer Upper, too.) Please do bring Home Town back for another season. The Napiers bring a fresh perspective to design for younger couples who don't have huge budgets for total "gut jobs". My son and daughter-in-law are slowly making affordable repairs on their first home, an "eyesore" with potential, in the city of Everett, WA. For them, the appeal of Home Town is Erin and Ben often keep and re-use features within the makeover homes, and many of their obvious tips and ideas work well for young couples on a budget. All of the Flip or Flop shows feel contrived (oops,,, we're going over our budget, the water main is rusted out... again and again) and the ultimate goal of the Flip or Flop series is to SELL for a large profit. How sweet it is to know that the work on Home Town, and even Fixer Upper, is actually being done for a couple or family we get to "meet". Refreshing!

I have completed the medical and theory test with HGVT ( Heavy Goods Vehicle Training UK) relatively quickly. After that though they become uncontactable on the phone and do not reply to emails. Two months after passing the theory I have still no clue when the driver training is going to be. They are taking money hand over fist as people try to get this training but do not have the ability to deliver the service they state they provide. They have had £3800 of my money for the last 4 months to do both class 2 and 1 but cannot or will not communicate when the driver training will be. Do not be fooled by the page after page of 5 star reviews on their site. If I had the money I gave them i could have booked the training myself and it would have been done by now.
They are a massive and expensive waste of time. If they do not deliver the service I have paid for very soon it will be necessary to contact an Ombudsman or take legal advise as I cannot believe they can accept payment for services that cannot be delivered in a reasonable time. They do not even deserve 1 star minus 3 is more like it.

Worst HGTV show EVER!
April 26, 2017

I love my HGTV but this show is enough to end my love affair. No offense to the couple but they are just horrible to watch. Fake, boring, uninspired and really needs to be taken off air.

Current Shows
January 27, 2017

We LOVE Fixer Upper and Tiny Houses - we did like Flip or Flop but have quit watching it because it's just not the same the way this young couple has done, especially to their children - it all seems phony now. We enjoyed a lot of the older shows that used to be on such as Sandra Rinomato, Curb Appeal, and others. Still love HGTV but too many repeats - too many island shows & beach front expensive homes that lots of your viewers couldn't begin to afford!

I used to enjoy watching HGTV, because there was a variety of shows. Now all you see is Property Brothers, Fixer Upper, House Hunters (and International), Beach Front / Lake Front Bargain Hunt, Flip or Flop... over and over again! Why must you play the same show daily for hours on end? What happened to Mike Holmes, Income Property, Property Virgins, Divine Design, Curb Appeal, the High / Low Project, Dear Genieve, Rehab Addict, etc... Can't believe Love It or List It is back on when outed as fake! At present, is HGTV broadcasting a flip or flop?

In Episode Ads
March 15, 2020

I do not appreciate the in episode ads. I do not see it as a good trend for TV viewing. If it continues and spreads across multiple channels I will cancel my cable.
