Erin and Ben / Genuine!
February 26, 2020

It is a breath of fresh air to watch a married couple work together so well. They are genuine in that their love and respect for each other sets a high standard today. I adore her simple artwork. Our home is in need of a makeover for our handicapped daughter who was diagnosed with SMA. If they ever chose to help people in difficult living situations... They would be my first pick to help us renovate... BEN with his braun and Erin with her amazing insightful talent. Get MY VOTE... 100% Right now, I look forward to coming home from a long day of teaching and watch episode after episode! Thanks you two.! You help people dream!

Was watching Bargain Mansions. The "designer" destroys some of the most beautiful details of an older home to make it a "modern" style. Instead of taking the sledge hammer to some woodwork that she doesn't like for her modern appearance, why not take a few minutes extra to reserve those pieces to donate/resell? I've only watched this show three times, but each time I turn it off after 10 minutes because she is ridiculous.

The stations now all show flip and flop now you're programming is now all flops. Same old things no craft shows or re define your space apt or homes on little money. How to by cheap furniture and make it look good of fix up a badly furnished living room. What happened hgtv was good
About 5 years ago. Now it's all about buying and selling houses. Boring Sorry. Change back to the good old days. I'm turned off.

Unlike some other harsh reviews, I enjoy watching home improvement shows with genuine, enthusiastic adults who are not actors. (Home Town in Mississippi, Good Bones from Indianapolis and the two sisters in Memphis are just three examples. I like to see regional differences in housing.) I appreciate the many talents that Ben and Erin have. They value history, and they know quality construction when they see it. They are careful to use reclaimed wood as much as possible. I avoid watching shows where plastic hosts rip out everything, restore nothing and put in the same layout and use the same materials over and over. My Midwestern house is almost 100 years old, and I learn good ideas from Home Town. Thank you HGTV for this show.

Hard to Do
March 31, 2017

Chip and Joanna are just perfect! Great love, personalities and quality work! No mishaps and very few "surprises" like Love it or List (which I don't know anyone that likes) which have set the standards incredibly high. I could handle the husband, cute with a good sense of humor, but she ruins it. They get an A+ for tring, but very boring and not worth watching.

I hate Monday's because it's all love it or list it. Can't watch because of David. Can't stand him. Cannot stand bargain mansions. Her voice is beyond annoying and she has cheap offensive taste. Christina on the coast needs to go and stay away. Tired of flip or flop. Hgtv started out showing everyone how to decorate and design. It's just turned into a flipping channel. Please, please get rid of Windy City Rehab. She's annoyingly into herself and how fabulous she thinks she is. She's a legend on her own mind. Good bones, home town and fixer to fabulous can stay and a new favorite is renovation inc. these are quality shows the others are overdone.

This used to be a reliable channel to watch. Lately though the programming has really gone down hill. Where is house hunters-all these flipper shows and endless reruns of Chip and Joanna Gains-are just not entertaining. All the flips look alike and they are all done for unreasonably low amounts of money. The Gaines time is over and done. Lottery Dream Home is thinking outside the box and is enjoyable. Surly you can come up with something different than the same formula for professional flippers. Look to the likes of Brett Waterman for inspiration

What is going on with the lack of appropriate dress with some of the realtors showing properties? Torn, rolled up pant legs - jeans! The realtor look like they were out running errands before meeting clients for a showing. I'm not implying that they should be in suits, but present better!

I am completely obsessed with every single episode. Y'all are AWESOME. I'm singing your praises.
Season 2 Episode 10 you were snowed upon.
It was absolutely gorgeous. That home, and landscape, covered with a light blanket of snow looked stunning.
I felt bad that you kept apologizing for it. We all LOVED it.

The wedding show is ridiculous! She's a horrible actress, at best. There are two sides to every story, they both have ex spouses and children! Stop grasping at straws with Christina on the Coast, let it go! There are great designers out there who deserve a break, give them a chance!

Christina was never the draw on the original Flip or Flop, there's no way she can carry a show on her own. It is such poor taste to give her a show after the nasty public divorce - plus bring her children into the show. Then on top of it smear the wedding in everyone's face - with a dress that's barely there. Really? I would expect more from your programming

Worst hosts ever
March 11, 2018

These two are the worst hosts they could have picked for the show. I will hardly watch HGTV anymore, because of this horrible commercial with her super annoying southern accent- "get up and do it" like a hillbilly. They drive around in this old truck & try to be cool with his hipster beard (which is just unkempt and gross). Horrible!

Flipping 101
April 30, 2020

He is nothing except an ego on the loose. Christina kept him grounded. Stupid immature facial expressions and you can easily remember dumb buys he done and she would have to rescue the design. Acts like a professional male prostitute in my opinion. Had to hook up with a look a like wants bee. To be a successful real estate person she must show listings in head to toe feed sack. Disgusting show. I made through a couple now record so I can fast forward. Same couple of idiots for him to advise. Love where they prove the pro does not know everything. Wake up HGTV. Flipping 101 sucks makes one wonder if she dumped him for being on both sides of the fence.

Enough already! If you show one more perky, sexy blond whose talent seems to be choosing tile I personally will throw a wrench through my T. V. screen. On second thought, I've done it one better -- I've simply stopped watching HGTV. Take a page from BBC "Grand Designs" and bring on a show that inspires co-operation between architect/builder and owners with vision in the first place!

Christina's new show
April 28, 2019

My family cannot believe she got her own design show. If it isn't gray and white shaker cabinets, she wont know what to do. There are a lot better designers on other flip or flop shows as well as desert flippers

WHAT IN THE HECK?
January 5, 2022

Take the "Ugliest House in America" and send it to the dump, without any hesitation.

You know there comes a limit as to what stupid shows will watch. Over the last few years HGTV has gone out of their way to show every 'new' house flip they could possible find... enough!

Leave House Hunters time slots alone, or we will watch yu less than we already do

Flip or Flop Atlanta
September 5, 2017

FLOP. The show starts with a lie. Anita says they flip over 100 house's per year? Do the math. That's 2 flips per week. They can't buy, renovate and sell that fast. Ken appears like the all American boy next door. So, how did he get hooked up with Anita? She looks like the wicked witch of Atlanta or an old worn out porn star. Watched one show "FLOP":-(

What a waste of film. These two will bore you to tears. From the conceptual art "paintings " to the "get up and do it" totally a waste of time. Somehow HGTV thinks this show can capture the audience all day Sunday, no wonder they had to create a new network, discovery plus, so audiences had something else to turn too. The worst show ever! Modern Mayberry, anything could take its place. Please, save us!

Two things - First, it is just an attempt to copy Fixer Upper. Ugh. Secondly, we get they are married. Really. Can Ben just keep his hands off his wife long enough to film even a few minutes of an episode? Many of us are happily married but we are also able to act professionally. We are not tuning in to see 'happy couples.' It's about home and gardens. Please... stop trying to copy one HGTV show to create another. Makes you seem afraid to try anything new. I can hear your people talking about 'recreating a format that works...' Actually... it doesn't work. Viewers are smart and able to understand more than one format. Not interested in copy cats. Can't watch Home Town and haven't even tried to watch the 'new' show 'Flipping Vegas.'

6 years after buying a very expensive built in custom panel refrigerator, the computer motherboard failed. Kitchen Aid 's response was that the factory was destroyed by the tsunami in Japan and that there are no replacement parts available. After numerous phone calls and negotiations, Whirlpool (Kitchen Aid) offered to sell us another at the same price our local retailer would! Look elsewhere! They do not back up their products!
