Outside Locked Doors?
January 7, 2022

I enjoyed watching The Ugliest House in America, until your host visited a former brothel. What was so very hard to see was that most bedroom doors had locks on the OUTSIDE of the doors. This is exactly what sex trafficking does to women, boys, and girls. What were you thinking HGTV?
Did you think this was funny? If you know anything about sex slavery that should of sent chills, and sadness to you immediately. I won't be watching this again, and I have told many people about casual handling of such a terrible part of America. This was more than just a Brothel! Sure the house needs a "makeover", but what about the lives of those who were LOCKED in? It's a house Shame.

WHAT IN THE HECK?
January 5, 2022

Take the "Ugliest House in America" and send it to the dump, without any hesitation.

You know there comes a limit as to what stupid shows will watch. Over the last few years HGTV has gone out of their way to show every 'new' house flip they could possible find... enough!

Leave House Hunters time slots alone, or we will watch yu less than we already do

Can't hardly turn on HGTV or DIY without being almost attacked be their number of in your face gays
Prancing around like little smug punks. Lottery dream house is the worse but not far behind are Nate
And geronimo or something like that. There was a time these shows were great with tons of good info
But now its a crappy social experiment for the sick gay culture. Just garbage

I use to watch HGTV alot, but then I started noticing that there wasn't enough people of color with shows and that those that do or did have shows, they never lasted long. Unlike other shows where people are complaining about unfinished work or other issues, I truly believe that HGTV, is RACIST and only keep shows on of white host, because they don't want to lose the white audience, so the hell with the black and brown audience. HGTV would rather have a show with white women with no shape or $#*!, as long as they look good in the face, Christina on the Coast is a prefect example, I saw her in a bathing suit and couldn't stop laughing, looked like someone chopped off part of her $#*! and pulled the rest down her legs, is that why your female host have the front of their shirts or tops tucked into their pants, leaving the back covering their backsides. Then to make matters worse, you very seldom see black or brown people buying homes or getting work done on their homes, I no longer watch any of your shows anymore or allow anyone in my house to watch, this channel is blocked in my house. At onetime, you didn't have gay people on your shows, now you have more gay people, then you do people of color, shame on you, I am done.

Christina on the rocks
October 1, 2021

Christina on the coast. Her and her girlfriends overdone orange tone fake spray tan. Valley girls ditzy talk, lame design skills, divorce wreck, son bare feet walking on countertop, climbing up drawer handles like steps at Tenn house. My dog has better manners than that. Such a low class situation. I quit watching and don't recommend the show.

Too Many Home Town Shows
September 22, 2021

We have seen these shows over and over! Please put a variety of shows on each day instead of the same ones ALL DAY LONG! It's ridiculous to have to watch these marathons every day! Home Town is not my favorite, but I've seen every episode at least 4-5 times! It's on EVERY weekend as well as throughout the week! Too Much! This is lazy broadcasting, HGTV!

All reruns!
September 1, 2021

All reruns now, all the time. The new show on, 40 year old property virgins, don't waste your time! What a bunch of crap. Couldn't even watch after 15 minutes. Season1 episode 3 they crack themselves up, we did not find it funny or entertaining.

Ugh!
August 2, 2021

I get tired of shows like Home Town and Fixer Upper and any show that takes place in little towns in the South where you know that they voted for Trump and are true blue Republicans.

Most shows on HGTV are enjoyable and helpful. I love restoring older homes so was excited to see the show called "restored". I cannot stand listening to the cowboy /restorer. His voice is like chalkboard. Please find someone with humor, personality and an easy listening voice!

On the show good bones why are full safety procedures not used eg; hard hats, masks, safety lines and safety glasses, safety work boots by the ladies. I don't think your portraying of the proper working on construction projects is ok. Why is it ok?

Good Bones designs are nice but not high end. That's ok however their renovation budgets are big and they don't nearly deliver the results other HGTV designers deliver with smaller, or comparable, budgets. Who are they paying? Also, they are good renovators/builders but they produce mediocre designs. Items never match… often hodgepodge. Many things seem to just be thrown in for the show. They should deliver a different result if they have such high budgets. Other show designers do. They should also consider just renovating properties and let the pros create the final designs.

#safe# viewing
July 9, 2021

I used to like HGTV because it was upbeat and about bringing out the best in people and community through design, and remained fairly neutral on touchy subjects. That has changed. I just watched an episode of Good Bones that spent a significant amount of time talking about Wicken. Ignorance on their part now has them blocked with parental monitoring so that my friends and family won't be caught off guard. Very disappointing.

I'm down at the computer trying to calm down from seeing pieces of Beach-Side Renovation. Content may be ok - but the FLASHING, ZOOMING, running OVERSPEED, and HORRIBLE rock "music" just make me HATE the program.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY
June 23, 2021

I really liked the show, although there were a lot of different designs and personalities it was still family friendly. However, last week we had to turn off HGTV last week due to inappropriate commercials. Come to find out HGTV is now supporting transgender people and the gay community which is going against all Christians beliefs. I am sorry to say that today we have removed HGTV from our dish network plan along with 132 other people from our community. We have also encouraged other communities to do the same thing in hopes to change the mind with HGTV supporters.

What a waste of film. These two will bore you to tears. From the conceptual art "paintings " to the "get up and do it" totally a waste of time. Somehow HGTV thinks this show can capture the audience all day Sunday, no wonder they had to create a new network, discovery plus, so audiences had something else to turn too. The worst show ever! Modern Mayberry, anything could take its place. Please, save us!

Reading the comments and looking at the winners for all the million dollar sweepstakes, does HGTV support minorities or BLM in any form?

I am so sick of Home Town; it would be okay if they played 1 X per week then you could choose to watch it, but it is on constantly, the same show's over and over. I do not enjoy it and do not understand why HGTV is giving it so much air time. Hugely disappointed as this used to be my favorite channel but I can't stand the line up anymore.

This can be a great show, if not for the blatant "whiteness" in 99.9% of the multi season show. Some seasons are entirely populated with white storylines. What?

Hair consult
May 20, 2021

Do either of the fords own a hairbrush? Either way, they need to budget one or learn how to use it. On any given show the both look like they just woke up.
