There are so many things wrong with this place. Their website is very old-fashioned and not user friendly at all, and their customer service, at least by email, was horrible in my experience (took 3 days to respond only to give me another customer's info, when they had the correct order #, how does that happen?). Chat is great … when available, which is not that often regardless of the hours they post. I bought an item that ended in back order and they never informed me, until I finally contacted them after not receiving a shipment notice for several days. It was my first time -and definitely my last- shopping here! Big mistake. Avoid it! It's been a horrible shopping experience, very time-consuming and frustrating.

There are so many things wrong with this place. Then, my order was split up due to some being "not in stock"... then the dates for sending the remainder of my order kept being pushed forward to a later time.
Why post merchandise to sell when you don't even have it in stock to begin with?

I'd ordered from HerRoom for many years without any trouble. The last time I ordered I got the wrong size, twice and was told I had to send them back on my own dime. I've now spent $30 for bras I can't use. The customer service was kind but the policy is not customer friendly. I knew exactly what I was ordering and ordered the right size(I've worn them for 20 years) and was sent the wrong size twice. Do not order from this site if you want to pay for absolutely nothing.

Tip for consumers:
The company needs to look at the return policy and not accuse the customer of being wrong. It is insulting and with the cost of the items purchased, inexcusable.

The wrong size was sent twice so I did not use anything.

NEVER will buy from here again. They are such a dishonest company! I returned an item in perfect condition, only tried on to see if it fit and returned. They would not refund me and would not give a reason. Despicable site, not to mention the ridiculous shipping they constantly charge, but there are plenty of other companies I can purchase from, so take a hike.

Stay away from this retailer! They are impossible to reach with customer service questions. Their phone service "is temporarily out of order" for months on end. Responses are slow to non existent. I will never shop here again and warn everyone to stay away. It's just not worth the hassle.

They should send free shipping labels if it's THEIR FAULT that items do not arrive in a timely fashion and have to be returned. In 2021, not being able to at least print a label with postage is archaic. Furthermore, the situation I had (ordered a two piece, the bottom arrived, the top never did. When top finally arrived - I tried to cancel order but unbeknownst to me it had *just* shipped and customer service would not agree to pay my return shipping nor was a pre-paid shipping label available to print out at my own home, so thanks for the errand to the post office on top of all the inconvenience) was the worst customer service I've had in a long, long time. I'm not sure I'll order from HerRoom again. You may have lost a customer.

See previous comments. SHIPPING LABELS are standard across the industry. I can’t think of another company that does not even provide a prepaid shipping label. Meaning, something that is deducted from my refund, for the sake of convenience.

Returns and exchanges take forever and you pay shipping on these. In addition, they are very difficult to contact. Forget about calling, chat availability is spotty at best and they take a very long time to respond to email. Most recently I had a return that was finally processed after almost a month but they never issued the refund. When they finally did (I had to contact them), it was short by $35 even though the return shipping is only about $6. Am trying to resolve this now and I have one more return (God help me). Once that's resolved I'll never purchase from them again.

I received a email asking if I received a order that was bought in April. Not only did I get it but it was returned more then a month ago. Are you saying you didn't notice these items returned with other items? Or is this a way to get a review? I thought I had been refunded for this return. I will expect a prompt refund if I discover I haven't. Like many of us I have a lot going on and don't have time for this confusing method of getting a review.

I returned products in exactly the same condition and packaging that I received them in and my return was denied due to "condition". Items were never worn, only tried on for fit. Obviously, one that I returned had been previously tried on and returned and not repackaged according to their standards before being shipped to me. Not only did I pay to return the item, but I was denied a refund and asked to pay for shipping a second time for an item that was not of use to me. Unfortunately, I feel forced to take my business elsewhere.

I will not be ordering anything from this company again. I ordered 2 camisoles and am losing the full price for one of them. The reason is because it had a "perfume smell." I tried it on when I got out of the shower, thus the smell. I could get it back if I payed an additional $10. I have not had this type of problem with any other mail order customer service before. Done with HerRoom.

I received my bra order on May 20 and less than a week later the side stitching came out and the metal boning came out with it. I emailed the company on June 11 with photos of the damage and requested that they pay for the repair. I didn't get a response, so today, June 22, I contacted them by chat (they are not taking phone calls at this time). I told the customer service rep what happened and she told me they couldn't take returns on worn items. I told her I wasn't requesting a return, I just wanted them to pay for the repair. She insisted that the company had a strict against returns or refunds for worn items. I again told her that I was only asking them to take responsibility for their shoddy product by covering the repair for which I would provide receipts. She refused and refused to escalate my request to management.

You chatted with us today and stated you had worn the item multiple times and that the boning started to pop out on your third wearing. Your images show the elastic is curling due to extreme stretching. The seaming containing the boning looks to have also popped due to stress. This is a quality product. We do not pay for repairs to garments that have been worn.

I cobtacted the company after 2+ weeks and was told the exchange was "being processed". Still no email its been shipped. I am very disappointed. This has been over a month since original order.

The customer service person (Windy B) was curt to the point of rudeness. When I indicated that I had had a bad experience with a customer service chat that was closed mid-conversation before the issue was resolved Windy did not apologize or even acknowledge that complaint. Throughout the chat I had to continually solicit information rather than a normal, helpful customer service exchange where the person is trained to volunteer information. It felt like I was attempting to get information out of a pouty, recalcitrant child. Absolutely bizarre and very frustrating.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service is useless. Don't waste your time with these bozos.

Purchased a product online and I noticed it still hadn't been delivered. When I checked the status on the website it said the order was still being prepared. I sent an email to the company asking why my product was still being prepared. They are first apologized and said that it would arrive in 3-5 business days. Then I got an email saying they would not be sending it so I asked for a refund which they refused to give me. Still don't have my money back or my product.

I just ordered five or six bras which shipped quickly and were great. One of them must have had a flaw along the inner underwire seam, as the first time I washed it after two wears, the underwire pulled out.

When I contacted customer service about a defective product they told me that if it was washed or worn I could not return it. I was surprised you can return some thing that was obviously defective. I would very much understand that if something is worn/washed cannot returned based on a preference, but I felt a quality issue was different.

I’m not sure the customer service person had much flexibility but told me that if it was washed or worn there were no exceptions, even for a defected product.

Your issue boils down to wanting to return a garment that you wore several times and washed in the washer without using a garment bag. You claim your underwires is now coming out. Our return policy is clear. We do not accept returns on used merchandise because the way you handle the item is out of our control. Second purchase. Checked out as guest both times. Each time wrong size has been sent. I am sure Wilma will find the fault with me. I did not return the first item and made due. After reading the return policy/reviews, I'm not giving them the opportunity to take more of my money. Save yourself the trouble and order straight from the maker of said product. I ordered size 3.

I returned two of the items, received an email they received my return and will process in 5-7 business days. But I have yet to have a refund or get further communication from them. I received a damaged item and we are weeks in with multiple emails with not 1 but 2 emails with uploaded pictures of the damaged item, chats, phone calls, and the problem is still not resolved. I've just been told that management denied the prepaid prepaid return label. I will never ever shop with HerRoom again. What a total nightmare and headache. Buyers beware.
