Tried to return an item. The cost to return the dress was 3 times the price of the dress. Buyer beware.

I bought a wedding dress from this site so excited! For it to arrive completely different to the image advertised, damaged and very poorly made. I Have contacted the company so many times I've lost count, provided photos and they agreed it wasn't as advertised and agreed to give me a full refund to then be ignored to then being told they'd refund me 10% and now to being completely ignored and blocking my email address so my emails are undeliverable! Just don't do it! I wish I had seen these reviews before! I am now struggling to afford a wedding dress and they have ruined the experience for me and any trust in online shopping, which I only took the risk because I have crippling anxiety to go anywhere.

Im writing another review because I want the world to know how awful this so called company is.
I have attempted to communicate via emai, asking if they will refund if I send back the dress. All Ive got is we will give you 10% off. Of course I said NO! I want a full refund. They then offer 15%. I dont think so! Yesterday to top it all off, I got a TNT invoice for £35. Not only have Herdress ripped me off £165, Im now being charged duty tax! Sooooo angry!
Today Im sending back the horrid dress recorded delivery, compiling all the evidence I can and starting a dispute through my bank. Hopefully they will help me seek my money back from this SCAM company!

Do not buy they are not based in UK so their website address is fraudulent and I have reported them to trading standards who are investigating and said they will also submit a report to Google to not allow them to trade. My Daughters prom dress was $#*!, the measurements were so wrong after we had them professionally taken by a tailoress so WE know these were CORRECT you scheming little c***ts!
Brexit should be f***ing international aswell to stop these cheap Chinese factories making mass production crappy items, and having any trade deals with uk!
The only good thing to come out of China is a reputable Chinese food takeaway that doesnt serve cat or dog! Scumbags!

I normally read reviews but everything seemed ok at first with the website. They send you little messages telling you that the dress is being taylored; gets you all excited.
Couldn't wait to see it! The model wearing it in the advertising pic looked amazing!
WRONG! The dress arrived today! It's absolute crap! Nothing like the advertisement: colour was grey not white; lace looked like groovy net curtains with cheap cheap sequins badly sew onto it; holes here and there; crooked hem line; crappy creased material; dodgy zip, the list goes on...
This company should not be alowed to trade. Today is international happiness day, well I ain't happy! I called my bank to seek advice. If I do not get a refund back from HerDress within 15 days then the bank will investigate. They are false advertising and have fraudulently taken my money in my eyes. I will never put myself in this position again!

I bought a wedding dress but it was not the dress on the photos as advertised. It was also advertised to be in the sale saving me £s but they told me it was made to order so how could it be a sale item? I received the dress and was totally gutted to receive a dress which was made of cheap material and it fitted horribly. It was not the dress I was imagining in the photos, it looked totally cheap. The customer service staff were really rude and difficult to deal with. They did not read any of my emails and I felt I had to go over my explanation several times. They refused to give me a refund. Im absolutely gutted & disgusted about the whole experience. Im now out of pocket and having to buy a new dress. This company should be closed down and reported, Im going to make sure they are. Stay away from them they are not a genuine company!

Came in a tiny bag after 3 weeks, even though I paid £15 extra for quick delivery. When it came it was scrumpled, and looked absolutely nothing like the dress on the website. It came with no return forms, the zip was broken and the belt was sewn on wonky. The product was faulty and I got sold false advertisement. Their customer service was RUDE and unhelpful, refusing my legal rights of a refund! I have now got my bank to open up a case against them, due to my legal rights of a full refund for a faulty product and false advertisement. The only thing their customer service was was 'get someone to tailor it'... No, I am a student I cannot afford a $#*! dress to waste money on to them try and get it fixed! They even contradict their own return policy and the customer rights laws! They should be shut down, absolute disgrace of a company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
They take your order, make a dress however they want, send you it screwed up in a plastic bag which is then forced in to a DHL mail bag thats 10x too small for the dress!
The dress I received was all misshaped, had off colour patches and has not been finished properly.
When contacted they asked for photos, then said that the photos did not prove anything. After many emails backwards and forwards the sent me a 6% yes 6! Refund. Which equivalent to £10.98! Their emails and customer service is downright rude! This company should be shutdown! They are falsely advertising products then do not refund or allow returns.
Their website states that they accept returns of the dress size varies from the stated measurements on their website, however when your dress varies from them, they still dont accept responsibility or returns! Their pictures on their websites are not genuine, they have screenshot dresses from other sites then get their chinese factories to make a dress that looks something similar! (Or not similar at all!)

I bought what I thought was a beautiful white dress with sequins on the bodice, costing me £130 plus 20 odd pounds for delivery and then I had received a message from the delivery company to tell me I owe £21 for taxes. Once the dress had been delivered I quickly opened the parcel as I was really excited as this dress was what I would be wearing to renew my wedding vowels, I was really angry when I opened the parcel the pristine white dress in the photo looked like it had a grey tinge to it, the material was cheap and the design was not the same on the side of the dress with poor sewing. I contacted the company straight away, they sent me an email straight back asking me to send photos, so I did, then they emailed to say they can't see what the problem was, I replied again and they came back with why don't you keep the dress and forget the subtle error of the dress and since all dresses are hand made it is inevitable the tiny differences will be made in the process of tailoring. I emailed back telling them it's not acceptable and I won't just keep something that I'm not happy with, and they haven't responded since. I only wish that I had seen everyone reviews before buying from these conartists.

Total agreement with all of the other comments and exactly the same experience. Leaving me totally frustrated being £160 out of pocket, with a useless dress no one would ever want to buy. Blocked my emails and with no other form of contacting them.
I work for a bank, so luckily I am familiar with payment fraud etc. If you have purchased from this company and have not received the goods you ordered if the right size / colour etc etc. You can request a refund directly through your bank. The bank will refund you within 48 hours your full money.
The bank then take this up directly with the company to recover the funds for themselves. If evidence cannot be provided by the company that the goods where received, in the condition they should be and the correct item, then the company are liable to pay the bank directly. Thanks, R
