They have the rudest customer service ever. I got a 9005 HID kit form them a while back and they wouldn't work with my DRL's. They had me spend more money on a adapter and still wouldn't work! In the end when I asked for a refund because they didn't work they refused and said I didn't know what I was doing hooking them up and I was hooking them up correctly. Out $160 I learned the hard way because they have their reviews disabled on Google and social media. I guess they don't like owning up to being a rip-off company!
I bought a set of LED's from them recently to replace my HID's in my Lexus and they did not fit properly. They were no help in resolving the problem. Fortunately for me I have built several custom cars so I had the knowledge and expirience to make them work.
I received a headlight set that would not work and the refused to take it back citing their policy on no returns if opened. These are the most dishonest rude company I have ever dealt with. See BBB complaints on this company wish I had checked before wasting my money. STAY FAR AWAY
HLE's customer service are quick to respond to my many many questions. They are knowledgable and fair with the prices. I highly recommend this site to anyone looking to modify/update/replace their car's lighting systems.
"These HID bulbs will fit you car." They didn't. When I brought that up, I was harassed with profanity and called a racist. Zero customer Service. Manager did the same thing.
I ordered LED s for 3 different trucks; they recommended and sent me the same H4 to all of my needs. Non of them matched. Cheap China LED s. Bre aware.
They advertise as "Direct Fit With No Modifications necessary" Their lights require modifications and they will not offer a full refund. They will claim you are an amateur and don't know how to properly install them. DO NOT BUY!
Wrong product sent and no responsibility taken by the company. I should have read BBB reviews about the guys (seems like a 1 man show) inability to speak to another human.

I am not an expert, so I went to the Headlight Experts to purchase replacement LEDs for my 1979 Blazer. Their product configurator was easy to use, and I ordered each of the recommended pairs of bulbs for my Blazer. Everything seemed easy and straightforward. This is where things went way off the rails.
1 - There are no instructions; no identification on the packages of bulbs; no identification on the bulbs themselves. Eventually I was able to figure it out (2 hours of trying) to get them installed. I was told by Headlight Experts 'Your Installer will know where they go'.
2 - Their configurator is wrong. I ended up with 6 bulbs extra. ($150 worth of unneeded bulbs)
3 - Their configurator is wrong again. I received 2 bulbs that didn't fit anywhere
4 - Their configuration is wrong again. I received 4 bulbs that were the wrong base / wrong size for the application
5 - I received 1 defective, amber turn signal light bulb. Asked to return when I called and was hung up on.
6 - After several calls and emails, 'Paul' emailed me back. Said to call in and ask for him so we could talk through it.
7 - Called and asked for Paul and was immediately treated extremely rudely. I think asking for Paul is a signal to ditch the customer as they are likely seeking a return.
8 - Called and asked for Paul again, was told he wasn't available. I asked how to reach him and they said call back in an hour. I called back in an hour and they said he wasn't available and to call back in an hour. I started to ask if there was anyone else I could speak with and was hung up on mid-sentence
9 - Called and asked for Paul again (next day), and same exact thing happened. Not avail / call back / hang up on call mid-sentence
10 - I emailed Paul asking for return of the 8 bulbs. Waiting on answer.

Recieved with no instructions or troubleshooting guide. Installed in equinox. Had to disasseble whole front end. Drill out covers. Bulbs too long. Had everything hooked up. Turn on switch. No lights. Only one high beam. Removed and replaced with sylvania bulbs. Everything works fine. These people are ripoffs. Specially for over $100 bucks for nothing. Better off using my 3000 lumen flashlight as a headlight! Junk 100% junk. Experts haa. Bunch of fake wannabe, s.
Don't even think about it. MOVE ON. There are plenty of places to get headlights from. The worst customer service... EVER. When having a conversation and your vendor hangs up on you... MOVE ON
Wow, What an experience. They first told me to delete my review before they would refund my shipping. I paid for UPS 2 Day, and they sent it USPS; lol so much cheaper, and I kept the rest of the money. Then, to top it off, they mailed me the wrong car product. Kia Forte 2019 With Halogen lights requires 9005 Lights for low beams. They send people H7, which are high beams, and the low beams for the high beams. But when you ask them to correct the issue, what do they do? It requires you to pay for the shipping even to get it there. So I called Paypal because I did not want to settle for shipping, so Paypal is delivering for the shipping, thank god. Because this was over 100 dollars, what am I supposed to get back? Am I supposed to reach only half of the money? Stay away from this company. You will get screwed over. When you write a review, also get ready to show proof they will act like they don't know you and dispute it. So I am putting my receipt on here so they can't pretend I am not an actual customer that got screwed over.
I ordered headlights from headlight experts with assurance they would fit. Upon receiving them they would not fit. When I called back you could only get the new order department. The people there were rude, they were using profanity and trying to belittle me. Once I returned them they charged me a 20% restocking fee even though it was their fault I had to return them. You can not talk to customer service at all, you can only send an email. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Stay away from these people!
Finally, I got the reimbursement for the defective item. I spent much more time and effort than I would have. And it's not easy to imagine how "funny" it could be if my car had burned...
UPDATE:
This store sold me two ballasts (high voltage devices for xenon headlights), which I ordered. They shipped my parcel two weeks after my payment and showed a disrespectful attitude. All that time I couldn't use my car. One of the two ballasts appeared defective; after being installed and turned on, it started burning (producing smoke and a plastic part melted). My tech decided to use one new ballast, and he had only the choice to use the old one in the second highlight. I explained the situation to the business (via email) and asked them for reimbursement and to send me a label for return. They answered that I have to send the part back to them at my expense, then they will test and replace it. I explained that I didn't need the part anymore, couldn't afford to pay for the repair again, and demanded my money back. They declined my request. So, I demand a reimbursement, I'm ready to send the item to them, but I don't want to spend money on that. Personal addition: the amount of money isn't very big, but this business is exceptionally irresponsible and disrespectful. My experience with them is terrible, and I fill my responsibility to show it to them and their potential clients.
They got my order and money 13 days ago and still haven't sent the items. I already suppose this company is fraudulent, or it is just very poor service.
USPS tracking is saying, "parcel acceptance is pending." I've been waiting for the parts for two weeks already. Nobody from the company contacted me, trying to manage the problem. I can't use my car for two weeks and not going to be able to do it some more. Tomorrow I will order the same parts from another store, and I highly recommend never to have deals with Headlightexperts!
When I ordered headlights from this company, (HID kit+relay harness) I never received the relay harness included. When I reached out to customer service they were ok, no apology or anything and were short in their response but I didn't care so long as they delivered the product I paid for. And they did. Fast forward to 6 months later and one of my headlights won't turn on. No problem, I see that they have a lifetime warranty. So I send the email explaining the situation. Day goes by, no response. So I reach out to their "live chat" and dealt with the most miserable human being I've ever encountered. Just asked a simple question of when they might respond to the email and remarked how I feel unsafe driving with one headlight, and I was met with a response of "LOL" and a sarcastic explanation of their operating hours. To be honest, I didn't look at that nor do I care what their hours are. I just know they sold me a defective product and they need to honor their warranty as soon as possible.
Hard to believe they're still in business. Poor communication skills, unable to read and comprehend simple emails. No clue about the products they're selling.
Worst business I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Buy anywhere else. Repeated emails about questions I'd already answered in previous emails. They know nothing about headlights. The back and forth bullshit ran me through my 30 day guarantee with questions they should've been able to answer right away instead of me having to pull the information out of them.
Terrible customer service. Dismissive one line responses via email when they had shipped me faulty headlights, with missing parts and wrong parts. Would not refund or accept a return.

Headlight experts are a scam. I made the mistake of ordering from them a few months ago and they've consistently lied to me. Took my money and didn't send me anything, refuse to give me a refund and also have the audacity to complain about me sharing my experience through a review. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "HEADLIGHT EXPERTS"
I wanted to give a BIG SHOUTOUT to Headlight Expert for helping me get the right HID kit for my Denali. It really completes the look of all the modifications I had done. The bulbs came quick, and at a good price. I cannot thank you enough!

Answer: I believe it is a scam. The sales department says there is no one there to take a call and customer service, you can only get a hold of them by email. And then no one ever returns the email
