I order a bicast leather chair and ottoman that were described as brown and medium softness. The item was actually black and no where near medium softness since it was as hard as a board and was also very plastic looking. I contacted Hayneedle and they got back to me quickly and told me to donate the item that I didn't need to return it and they would return my money. They did refund my money and am going to donate chair. I think the chair is really cheap if they didn't want it back but I got my money back so I'm satisfied.

I had viewed the very negative reviews of this company with some trepidation before deciding to place an order with them for a pair of Nikon Action 10x40 binoculars.

These binoculars were advertised with a $40.00 discount by Nikon on Black Friday (normal price $89.95), of course they weren't in stock from Nikon. Hayneedle was the only source that had the item at the same price (all others were higher). So, I placed my order with Hayneedle.

There were no problems with my order, none, zip, nada. The order was shipped on 11/29/11 and received today (12/02/11). I received e-mails from Hayneedle acknowledging my order and subsequently informing me of the shipping date along with a FedEx Tracking number. The item received today was exactly what I ordered and it was very nice!

If this isn't good service, then I don't know what is expected. I wouldn't hesitate to order another item from Hayneedle. Highly recommended!

Placed a order for no more than $240 they canceled my order without calling sending a email saying the billing don't watch the shipping contact the bank and call the back after I contact the bank the address is correct shipping and billing the same omg they suck

I ordered a fire pit on December 10th. My order said it would arrive by the 22nd and as I write this, it says it is arriving today, the 22nd. When I tracked the package through Fed-Ex, it says the order was cancelled on the 12th. Thankfully I did get a hold of someone at Hayneedle and turns out these were never in stock, yet my credit card was charged and no one bothered to call and tell me I would never receive the fire pit. So, now on Dec 22nd, I am left without a gift. Very Very disappointed!

Mixed - got slippers for Xmas - too large so tried to get a smaller size. They didn't refund any postage, charged me to send them back and then charged me AGAIN to resend another pair (this is "their policy"), The new pair eventually got here but were the wrong color - UGH! Complained to the company and did (finally) get a good customer service person that credited me a free pair.

I recently order a item from these a class $#*! ups and still waiting for the order to ship. Ive made $#*!ing contacts with these $#*!s and got nowhere. Some broad told me in my $#*!ing email that my order was expecting to ship on a certain date and never did. Hayneedle aint $#*! and my only thoughts of them is never ever, ever will i $#*!ing do business with theses mother $#*!er's again! REFUND MY MONEY OR DIE!

Have always received everything in a timely manner. Even when I had an issue they immediately offered to give me a discount, which I did refuse, then they did send out a replacement for the item that wasn't perfect as long as I promised to destroy other one which I did do. Very Prompt to get new item out fast. Great Customer service, probably have already spent close to $2000 in items from their site and can't say anything bad AT ALL! Love Love Love the Hayneedle and the products that they offer at the low price. And the Quality in most cases is AWESOME!

Fraud fraud fraud!

Terrible business. Ordered item a week before it should've been delivered and paid $60 for it to get to my home in 5 days! Not unreasonable shipping time if you asked me it's pretty standard. How ever it was canceled not by me but by Hayneedle the day it was supposed to arrive to my home! THE DAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED! How absord no heads up nothing! I am furious! This is the only gift we could afford for our kids and it didn't get here in time and now we have to wait for a refund before they get their gift! Ruined my kids holiday! Do not order from here not even if a last resort go through another company! This place is fraud!

Intentional misleading advertising. Sounds like I'm out $30.00, which isn't too bad considering what I've read from others regarding their dealing with PlumStuck/Hayneedle. Researched Plumstruck after the fact, Bought through Amazon.

Early December I purchased a $140 wine gift basket for my father-in-law. I found out today he never recieved it. I went on line to track and they said I cancelled the order which is NOT true! I was completely embarassed that my gift did not arrive. Needless to say no one is working on Christmas. So I can not speak to anyone. I will NEVER use them again and I'm pissed at myself for not looking up their reviews in the first place! Buyer beware! They SUCK! By the way no cancelation email or phone call nothing just a partent with no gift.

Hayneedle.com had a "Guaranteed by Christmas" statement when I was choosing their company to order my gifts. I ordered two gifts for two different people on 14th of December. Unfortunately I received the products on 27th of December.
Now they did refund my shipping and gave an additional discounts for the products, but as I told them, I would have gladly paid more in expedited shipping if I had any idea I wasn't going to receive products on time. I had no reason not to believe their "Guaranteed" statement. This is just bad business. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this site unless you have no preconceived expectations of receiving the products at any particular time. Again, it was very nice of them to credit back some charges, but it was a day late dollar short…actually many days late.

I recenly bought an Outdoor Grill. Thought I was getting free shipping and free grill cover but there was a seperate charge on my credit card. Called and rep said it was $10 for shipping and grill cover.
I ended up paying $260 for a grill that cost $199 at Loew's-fully assembled (one of the legs was oval, not round and had to put it in vise and fix it.

Suffice to say, you live and learn, and customer rep would not buge. I told her I hope her company goes out of business ASAP. She thanked me. Maybe she longs to be put out of her misery, fielding negative calls all day a real drag.

Horrible
August 26, 2020

I purchased a desk during moving had it delivered to my new house, didn't start to set it up until after I had everything in my house and painted. I went to return the desk because it was damaged, Walmart told me they weren't accepting returns because of Covid. I waited to return them and just tried to return the desk and they are unable to process my return because it's over the 90 day mark. Hay needle sells damaged items and doesn't care about their customers.

Do not buy from them! We bought an end table and it was broke. We could not assemble it. They told me over and over they refunded me. I never saw it. I disputed the charge with my credit card and Hayneedle still got out of it! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!

Being I had to click on a number ancouldnt choose and negitive number I had to hit 1 but believe me it's more like a -5. I placed an order and in 2 minutes called to cancel and they tell me my order has be filled and loaded on a truck and heading to me. Lying $#*! sucking customer service. When this piece of $#*! of a coffee table arrived its not at all what it was suppose to be. Laminated fake marble top (which was suppose to be marble). Knicked all to hell. Scratched up wood chipped off of legs and table. The fake $#*!ing laminated marble top is all bubbles up. It looks like these mother $#*!ing cheap $#*! let a 5 year old build this piece of $#*!. Your company deserves to be shut down and you need your teeth kicked in you low life RIP off $#*! sucking $#*!.

I'm not sure how they are still in business. I ordered a Weber gas grill over 1 month ago and I still did not receive it. First it was out of stock for the 3 weeks and when I called the customer service rep. After 2 weeks from the order date they stated it was about to ship and it cannot be canceled. They use a small shipping company which does not deliver on Saturdays and only on weekdays from 11am-3pm. I have contact the shipping company for the last week and they cannot get the delivery dates correct.

Unacceptable service!

On December 4th, I purchased a bean bag chair for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was estimated that the delivery will take place on December 18th. Since it wasnt delivered on 18 or 19th, I called the customer service. The representative couldnt give me any explanation for the delay and said that he will send some emails inquiring about my order status. The next day, December 20th, (sixteen days after my order was placed) I received a tracking email from Hayneedle. The order was delivered two days after Christmas on December 27th. When I called back customer service asking for some explanation, I was told: sorry, we will refund $10 to your card. Well, $10 dollars for ruining Christmas for one little girl and her grandparents seem like an excellent solution! Bravo Hayneedle!

Update to the scam

After some deep digging around I figured out that Hayneedle made up a name for their fake manufacturer "Belham Living" this is who they said made our umbrella and therefore could not replace the handle."Belham Living" is not the company that made the umbrella, it's not even a real company. We found the tags of the actual umbrella manufacturer stuck inside, and the company is" Treasure Garden" we will be contacting Treasure Garden(a legit company) to let them know that Hayneedle is stealing their product and passing them off to consumers under a fake name.

We ordered an umbrella and paid over $800. The package arrived weeks late and the box was completely trashed with missing parts. We were able to buy most of the small parts at the hardware store but we were also missing the crank handle. Hayneedle said they can't sent me a new handle because their manufacturer does not have handles. If you MAKE handles, you surely have them! They credited me $45. I said that was unacceptable and they told me they set up a return for the umbrella (without my authorization) and would refund me only $700. I told them I did NOT want to return my umbrella, they continue to harass me and said they are sending a truck. This company is insane. Beware.

Also known as TrampolinesPlus. Awful, awful, awful! Bait and switch tactics! I ordered a trampoline with enclosure but they only shipped the trampoline. I noticed before it arrived, per the shipping invoice and called them to let them know. They told me they could ship the enclosure for an additional $200! The receipt of my purchase showed that I had purchased both for half the price but they claimed it was a "mistake" and they would ship the enclosure for more $$. I told them no, I could get the product with enclosure for much less elsewhere. The only reason I ordered from them was the price for BOTH. The customer service rep, Vanessa, said she would ship the item back to the warehouse and then credit my account. Guess where the item is to be delivered today? Yep, MY HOUSE! Vanessa would not give me confirmation number that we had spoken. NOT HONEST PRACTICES!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
