Jessy was incredible. He was gracious, kind, efficient and skilled. He did a task that required lifting 160# bed frame and he did it with a smile. That was impressive! He did a remarkable job.

Amazing Service

I needed a recumbent bike assembled and Handy sent out a pro named Brian. He called to see if he could arrive a little early, which worked perfectly for my schedule. Once he arrived, he got right to work. He had my bike assembled in no time. Then he showed me his work to make sure I approved and fixed all the settings on it so it fit me perfectly. He even took out all of the boxes and garbage out to the dumpster for me. I was highly impressed. He was polite and a hard-worker. I couldn't have asked for anything more. This is the third time I have used Handy and I will continue to use them because they always send out good people and their work is impeccacable. I highly recommend Handy.com and recommend Brian if you need something assembled and Anna C. If you need your house cleaned. Anna C. Comes to my house every month and I couldn't live without her. She does a great job, and does everything I ask her to do, even if it is not a part of her regular routine. Handy.com hires great people and provides amazing service to their customers. I am an Electrical contractor that was approached by handy reps seeking help to install fans and electrical light fixtures. We set up our account with our account manager set up direct deposit. Within a week or so we had already done half a dozen calls for handy. Then nothing. Didn't think much of it till over a month goes by. One day i ask my office manager if we ever got paid by them they said NO. Now i cant get ahold of anyone that will go through their system to see what happen to all the info we set up during the onboarding process. HANDY IS A CRAP COMPANY TOWORK FOR MUCH LIKE ANY OF THE NATIONAL SERVICE COMPANIES. STAY AWAY GUYS UNLESS YOU LIKE WORKING FOR FREE. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE IF YOU ENJOY DRIVING AROUND WORKING HARD FOR FREE.

What kind of shady company doesn't have a phone number where you can call and speak to someone? That should be your first sign. Run away!

I booked a cleaning with them, and their only available was the morning of a special event (that same evening)

I get an email stating I'm booked, time and date set. This is false. When you contact them asking for the cleaners contact info... you realize you can only email. When they finally get back to you, they tell you they have yet to match you with a cleaner. That's when things get shady. You look up their reviews and read hundreds (literally) of reviews of this racket they're running. You're lucky if the cleaners ever show up, according to many reviews. And then pray they aren't thiefs, junkies, and other miscreants.

I'm embarrassed that I didn't check yelp. Or bbb. Or Glassdoor. Or indeed. All these sites will reveal what a sick group of people run this thing.

I've now emailed them numerous times requesting a refund and they are not responding.

NEVER do business with Handy.com. They sent a young man who obviously had little to no experience (he needed to hang recently purchased mirror (from Wayfair) --he didn't even have a stud finder! First he hung them too high, then not centered, then not above the sink (bathroom mirrors) leaving multiple holes in my walls --necessitating my hiring plaster/painters and a new handyman to hang the mirror properly! That was in October 2022! After over 28+ emails, getting Wayfair executive offices involved and handy sending out many emails asking for identical information and then asking for contradicting information I was finally paid with the amazing help from Wayfair the end of February --- no such thing "they are not happy until you are" they delay delay and delay -- I had to get the Executive offices of Wayfair involved because they were not responding to the customer service person handling my complaint!
A shout out to Wayfair for helping me They got a customer for life! Thanks to Andy in the Wayfair executive offices!
THEY ARE A SCAM! The only thing they are "handy" at is taking your money!
NEVER USE THEM!

STAY AWAYYYYYY... My maid never showed up. I was scheduled for 11am. Maid rescheduled to 2pm then 4 PM then 5pm and then finally never showed up. She said the company didnt tell her and she had other plans. She was rude and the company was not responding either.

I signed up with a discount trial and the first cleaner was great. The second time the cleaner wanted to leave after an hour. She did not clean the inside of the microwave, clean behind the toilet, mopped the kitchen with dirty water that smelled and left water marks. I had to go around the house to show her these things. After the second hour she wanted to leave and I was so frustrated I let her go. When I talked to customer service, they offered a $20 discount for the next visit which doesn't even cover the last hour she was not there. I asked to cancel and was told that I would be charged $150 cancellation fee and encouraged to "allow us the opportunity to serve you better". I followed this request and the next time the cleaner canceled 30 minutes before the arrival time. The company offered me a $10 credit and again said I would be charged $150 if I cancelled. Funny, if I cancelled within 2 hours I would be charged for the cleaning anyway. This is a HORRIBLE service! And the customer service is not helpful at all.

I made a booking on Monday evening for Tuesday morning cleaning. I was given a male cleaner and I cancelled immediately as I am a lady that lives alone, and we are still in lockdown and I feel unsafe to have a male cleaner in my flat. They charged me rebooking fee £20 for a 3 hour clean. I wrote an email to them saying it was because the Handy website wouldn't let me choose the cleaner so I had to cancel (if you use the app you can choose cleaners though, I only realised that after). It is a terrible experience as I have used so many cleaning services before and none of them would not give you options to choose your own cleaner. I also had set female cleaners as my priority and that just didn't work! They could have not accepted the booking if there were no female cleaners around. When I made the complaint they gave no leniency and ignored my concern and just pointed out this is their rigid cancellation policy. They really should look into their poor design of their website. They just wanted money and do not care about customers' concerns at all.

I used a promo code with Handy.com. My total was $150 and the promo code discounted my total to $78 instead. The cleaner who came to clean my home did a decent job but didn't complete everything that was listed on my list of services. Their list of alternative cleaners was extremely limited. When I reached out to them I also found out that I was charged $142 instead of the $78. When I addressed this they said that they were not responsible for me using the wrong promo code. They stated that I should have read the fine print. When I mentioned that I got the promo code off of a website like retailmenot.com they said that it's a lesson that I should learn and I shouldn't use random websites for promo codes. It didn't matter that their own website didn't state what the promo code was for nor any information as to what the promo code should be used for instead. When I sent them the screenshot of my purchase they dismissed it. Both customer representatives that I spoke to were rude and unprofessional. The first one refused to give me any identification information as to who he was, his employee number, department that he worked in or his email address. The second customer service rep was just as rude. They refused to refund me any of the money back and refused to cancel my account without charging me a fee.

I am utterly disappointed in the service of Handy and the lack of professionalism. They have rescheduled my shed installation 2 times and finally the 2 technicians showed up on the 3rd try. The 2 technicians started the process of assembly and stopped because they were booked for another project. I guess the shed was only booked for 5 hours per guy and there is no way that 12x30 shed was going together 2 guys 5 hours. This is completely unacceptable for anyone who doesn't have the tools or mechanical background. The shed comes with a time of assembly and installation. This project was under estimated and now the customer is left with the parts all over the place unfinished. I now have to either hire the guys again or find another contractor. Wayfair should be ashamed of this type of service and make sure things are completed to the end! They (handy) were hired by Wayfair to do the installation. I will make it my mission to pass a scathing review on every consumer website and people I talk to for both Wayfair and handy. Carelessness has consequences in today's world!

Save your money and piece of mind and STAY AWAY from this service. The pros you chose are rarely the ones who actually show up. Handy makes changes to your booking, always within 24h from the appointment, without ANY notifications and if you cancel or reschedule because you're not comfortable with the pro they automatically assign they will charge you penalty fees. I have opted for only females, but was constantly assigned men, and when I contacted customer service to ensure that that doesn't happen again, they told me the pros are independent contractors and they cannot guarantee anything. The gender preference is just a preference, not a hard rule.
To make matters worse, I was recently threatened by one of their pros by telling me repeatedly that "she knows where I lived" because I didn't cancel a booking to which she didn't want to come because I was too far and it wasn't worth it for her. She demanded that I changed it because she didn't want to pay Handy a refusal fee. Days later Handy has not responded to any of my emails.

DO NOT USE HANDY.COM!

I wouldn't give ANY "stars" if it would let me... and if you look at my attached picture showing where my 70" TV is supposed to be hanging,,, you'll understand why! I bought the $79 installation thru Walmart in Lawrenceburg, TN when I bought my 70" TV. Handy.com sent a guy named John Horton to hang my TV over my fireplace. What a joke! After a few months my 70" TV fell off of the wall and landed on my floor!. HANDYS EMPLOYEE... JOHN HORTON MOUNTED A 70 " TV INTO SHEETROCK... NOT IN STUDS... IN SHEETROCK! What an IDIOT! I had to pay sometime to repair my Sheetrock. PLUS buy another new $800 TV! I've filed a claim with Handy.com which said they needed 8-10 days to review the claim... and I'm still waiting to hear from HANDY about my claim for over a month later!
