I work at a Pet Store and I go out of my way to get my dog a costume that we don't carry so that she is extra special on Halloween and halloweencostumes.com had exactly what I was looking for. The quality was much better than expected also, very nice.
I paid over $100 for a tinker bell costume and it came with a dress and two wings, that I'm not even able to wear. The wings came folded over in the package and who knows how long they've been in there, they didn't unfold, even after having them stretched out for 2 weeks. So I basically paid $100 for a little skimpy green dress. Not worth your money AT ALL.
So I've ordered many costumes. Some have been AMAZING. Some.meh... I think it's just personal opinion. They're better than other online costumes I've ordered. The only issue is sending things back if it doesn't work out. It's not free return full refund. It's only free if you choose "fun bucks". So you better love your order!
This costume was a horny drunk purchase. I didn't see the crappy reviews until after I paid. It came 4 days late which sucks because I paid so much for shipping. But the costume was great. Exactly what I wanted. We had about of fun last night.
The costume I ordered was ok. Served the purpose. I'm here to talk about shipping. I paid to have shipped overnight, I ordered on a Thursday 05/04 and paid 23.99 to be shipped overnight which was a delivery date Monday 05/08. I watched tracking all day. Then at 4:35 said no one there for delivery. This is a business that it open 7 days a week hours are 10-6. So Tuesday morning I get up start watching delivery again. I need this delivered today. FedEx pulls up, starts to leave without bringing package in. Go out to flag down driver. He said he had the package on his truck yesterday but wasn't in the area so took back to FedEx to be delivered Tuesday 05/09. But I paid for delivery on Monday. So, who fault is this. Should I get part of my money back? It all worked out, but I'm tired of people not doing their job. Very tired of it. Customer service has gone to hell in a hand basket. Come on, can't we all do better!
We bought a costume that ended up being a size too small and after returning it through the mail, we ended up losing money and not having a costume, as they only refund the product and After reaching out they refunded the shipping as well
I ordered a costume enough in advance with Priority Mail International shipping.
After 11 days following my order and because I didn't have any update status about shipping, I inquired news. Otherwise, it would be certainly too late to receive it on time.
They simply refund me without any communication.
I think they should not run under.au if they can't deliver as expected.
This company is an absolute scam. First off, they're American, not Canadian. Secondly, they sent me a clearly broken item…. The box had zero damage, thus making this a quality control issue. Then, they stand behind a 14 day policy, which is ridiculous, since it includes order and shipping time, so by the time I opened my item it was "too late," according to these rip off artists, to return it or get a refund. They do not operate in good faith and thus should not be allowed to operate in Canada. The quality of products is garbage and their customer service is worse. It's ridiculous they get away with this. There are plenty of better places to buy Halloween costumes.
Placed an order 2 weeks ago. Paid through PayPal. Have not seen an order confirmation or had any communication since. Tried the email and just got an automated response. Live chat doesn't load. I just want to know if I'm going to have a very disappointed boy at Halloween or some tracking info so I can feel better about the whole thing.
Ordered from their AU website - parcel came and it was awful quality and the sizing was wrong. Tried to return and noticed there was a 20% restocking fee? Never seen that before. Then printed the packing slip - and the returns label was USA and they have no system in place with a postal carrier so you have to organise it yourself - meaning high postage fees.
Overall the product was terrible quality, whole experience has been awful. Would not recommend wasting your money - overpriced and basically non refundable.
First year was wrong size, still had to pay for both since the returned one didn't make it to them, lost somewhere supposedly. So thought ok will give them a try again but this year I didn't even get the correct costume. Ordered the men Witcher costume and was sent some girl aliens thing. When I contact them all I get told is sorry we have sold out of that one in the size! But we are sending you a return label for the incorrect one. Now have to pay a different company extra shipping to get in time and am pretty sure they will "not receive the return item" do not use them! Calling my credit card company and letting them know so I can discuss making sure they don't give the company the money! Ridiculous and not cool!

I ordered a costume for my fiance. It arrived too small for him, Even though we checked measurements before purchasing. The hat was also cracked and broken because they put it in too small of a shipping box and smashed it before it even left their facility.
I tried to return it, Still bran new and obviously not worn, Only to find out there's a 18% restocking fee which is crap already.
To top it off, They didn't offer free return which obligated me to pay fedex price for shipping which was a additional $17.
The costume was already way overpriced from the beginning. Now they want to take even more money from me just to resell it again?
My family is really big into Halloween and they could have made a lot of money from us.
This company has proven who their priority is. It's not the customers, and I'll be sure to spread the word.
So many wonderful things about my purchase! First, I paid standard shipping and received my costume in less time than expected, in a matter of days. The costume (a nun) fits perfectly, just as described, and the quality is great. I also love that they carry plus size costumes that look amazing, and do not cost triple the price of standard sizes. I plan on making my future Halloween costume purchases from HalloweenCostumes.com.
Costumes are high quality, great selection of sizes and the shipping is quick! If you need customer service, they are friendly and responsive. Have ordered from them the past few years, and will continue to do so!
When there was a problem with my original order, they emailed me properly to notify me. I was able to make a few changes and the offered to send out the new order with a quicker shipping process. My order arrived very fast, in time for my holiday event! BTW, the costume is perfect, nice construction. Be sure to order a size larger than you normally would, as I saw suggested in another review. I had high hopes for this website and had a few items I was wanting to purchase. I decided to go with the cheapest item to see how they were before spending a lot of money. Well the item I receive is of poor quality and defective (probably why it was marked down) They want a 18% restocking fee which would be understandable if I had just changed my mind on the item. However, that is not the case. It is just not usable which sucks for us bc now we have to find another Butler to compete our setup. I would NOT recommend this site to others!
I ordered a costume for my son on September 29. When I check the tracking it says label created but not in system, and this is almost a month later. I emailed the company and they don't answer. $50 gone and now I need find a new costume right before Halloween. Save your money.

Our costumes arrived pretty quickly and timely ahead of the Halloween season! When I had an issue with an item in one of my orders, a member of customer service reached out to me to remedy the problem regarding the review. They were happy to make things right and either fully replace or compensate for the item. Definitely will make this my one-stop shop for anything costume related due to the customer service a lone!

Answer: From my experience, I would definitely say this website is reliable. We ordered our costumes and received them (of great quality) within two business days. I personally used PayPal to buy them, but I do this with every website (that allows) just for extra protection.
Answer: Hi Monique, I've had this same problem having them ship to Australia, turns out that the 'FedEx' tracking number they've given us is in the confirmation email is actually a UPS tracking number. Hope that helps!
