*Heres somewhat of an update*
I spoke with a rep today (10/13/22) and now my costume won't ship until Monday (10/17/22). I was told i had 2 options, just wait for the costume to be sent "eventually" or cancel the order all together(being plus size costumes this was my only option) It'll be 2 weeks after my original order was placed for it to even be shipped. I asked if other people had the problems I was having. They told me that my order was the only one (highly doubt that). My original order was completely refunded according to them although I have yet to see the money. They also refunded me for the 1 day shipping on my 2nd order (they paid for it to begin with but ok?). I am absolutely APPALLED that this company is still in business. I originally ordered 12 days before my costume party and paid for express shipping, I still can't even get my costume with 1 day shipping. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS
I ordered a Harry Potter robe with multiple accessories on 10/4/22 with 2-day shipping. I never received my order and have been in contact with reps since 10/7/22. From 10/7-10/10 I was told my order was just pushed back and that it would be sent out by the end of each day. On 10/10 I was finally told 1 one of my items was out of stock, did not have a restock date and would have to be taken off so my order could ship. I agreed to take the item off as long as I had confirmation of the refund and that my order would then ship out the same day. I never received an email about the item refund, so I contacted customer service again on 10/11. I was then told the item was in stock, but my order had been pushed again but assured me the order would be shipped out that day. 10/12 I contacted them again since I still had no tracking number, I was first told the item was in stock, but my order had been delayed again. I urged the rep to check again since I was being told multiple different things, upon further investigation the item was out of stock but was not removed from my order like I was told it was going to be. The item could not be taken off like the previous rep said it would be, since I went through a 3rd party to pay (Sezzle). The rep told me the only way I could get my order soon was to cancel my 1st order and rebuy everything. I currently have not seen a refund for my 1st order. I am only giving 2 stars because HalloweenCostumes did pay for 1 day shipping for the 2nd order, and they refunded me for $14.99 for 2-day shipping on the 1st order. Every day I contacted them, the reps told me they would have to speak with their team leaders, I know October is a very busy time for this company but with my experience, it feels like no one talks to each other. The constant miscommunication and the failure of my order never being shipped out has left me never wanting to buy from this company again.
DON’T BOTHER
Would not waste your time paying more for shipping, orders don't ship within that time frame. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
