I pre ordered a witch costume for my daughter in early September. At the time the expected ship date was Sept 20th. September 20th passes and I still have no news about the costume. I call customer service only to find out it has new expected shipping date for October 16th. October 16th passes and I call Oct 21st. Customer service checks the status and tells me the new expected shipping date is October 25th. Now the costume will arrive after Halloween because my shipping method was standard shipping. They offer expedited shipping to me at my OWN charge. They didn't want to offer free expedited shipping for the inconvenience they have caused me. It was clearly not.my fault I ordered well in advance to avoid this problem.

Most atrocious customer service I have seen in a long time. Customer service informed me I could not cancel an order I placed 3 hours prior because it had shipped. I would have to return the order and pay $14 + 20% restocking fee, which on top of the initial shipping would out value the costume. I explained it had not shipped yet it still sat in a "processing status" to which the agent told me e-mail notification where more accurate and I should have one that says it shipped, I did not. Refreshed their online tracking again, still shows "processing" I advised the agent, who that changed my order to shipped 10-15 minutes into our conversation. I asked for the tracking information, which showed only label created, it had not been scanned into possession by the courier.
They said the order was processed and shipped already, conveniently with a time stamp DURING my conversation asking to cancel. They advised after it shipped it could not be canceled after. So, in effect, their cancelation policy is bogus and non-existent. Based on other reviews it appears they play sneaky games to make a buck in lots of ways. No real intent to please anyone or correct a situation.

I can adjust the top so that I'm covered the way I'd like to be, and the hips are just lose enough to be flowing. The cape is perfect too. I'm very pleased with the fit and the quality. I'll be able to wear this again, easily. Highly recommend this costume.

This is my very first order. I ordered at 6.20pm October 22nd 2021. I Cancel at 10.20pm but they said the item already shipped? I said I have not received the shipping confirmation email. Then they send me a shipping confirmation email in the next 5 mins.
The weirdest part is when I check the tracking number provided, they said LABEL CREATE AT 5.40PM?!
They ask me to make a return when the items arrived and of course pay for the shipping fee again (15$ To buy it, 15$ for return it)

So I was late to the Halloween shopping and I was having a hard time finding a costume to match a mask and tail I already owned. After searching and searching I found HalloweenCostumes.com and found what I was looking for. After checking out the sizing information for the suit I wanted I decided to order a size smaller than I normally would. I'm glad I did because the sizes listed on the website were spot on. I'm a heavy guy but the suit is quite roomy. I ordered on Sunday and got it by Wednesday after paying $9.99 shipping. I was skeptical after reading a lot of the reviews but for me I got a quality product with plenty of time left before Halloween. Thanks!

Ordered 3 costumes for my kids and wished I had read the reviews before ordering. All three of them need modifications for them to be wearable.
My sons panda costume had the gloves stitched together so he cannot put his hands in them. Going to have to try and rip them apart with my seam ripper. We ordered him a size (L, 14) and it is not accurate to what we received. It is a good 6" short on him.
My other son has Spider-Man and the face mask eye holes are on his forehead making it unwearable! Now have to purchase a separate mask for him to wear.
My daughter's princess peach is the worst of them all. Completely see through, cheaply made and already falling apart straight out of the package. Hers was the priciest out of the three $81.99, and after seeing it wouldn't pay more than $20.00 for it. She loves dressing up, so this would have been utilized for dress up play after Halloween, I doubt it'll even last the night. SO FRUSTRATED.

Got a completely wrong product- and XL 80's track costume, which I'm sure is not a high seller. My original order is a toddler's costume. Called to have them correct the issue and they are giving me THREE days to return the product or they will charge me for it. Such a clever way to sell items that otherwise wouldn't be selling.
Also, poor customer service seeing as how I have to print this thing out, provide packaging, waste my time for their mistake with no discount. They are using standard shipping for the correct item as well.

Customer service informed me I could not cancel an order I placed 4 hours prior because it was being picked at the warehouse. I would have to return the order and would not wave the restocking fee. They said the order was processed 10 minutes after it was placed and could not be canceled after. So, in effect, their cancelation policy is bogus and non-existent.
Absolutely rubbish order a pennywise costume from them they sent the wrong size and I tried to email them about it which they didn't reply had to live chat the at 5am just to get answer to which they said they only sell one size which is bull because the website still have other sizes then said it was my fault. And to get a refund they take an 18% restocking fee or can get store credit but they don't even send the right time so why would I want anything else from them.
Purchased costume which took about a month to get here. Costume wrong size so was unusable. Whilst they did offer a refund they only gave me a week to return to USA plus I had to pay return postage. Just ridiculous. Won't be using this company again.
Avoid HalloweenCostumes.com. As a first-time customer, I wanted to try this company's line of costumes and ordered several. Their costumes are poorly made, the accessory pieces do not look quality/authentic, and it is not remotely worth the price, especially the higher-end costumes.
Worse, HalloweenCostumes.com return policies and customer service are deceptive and dishonest.
First, check out the return policy. They will not refund your purchase. You can only get store credit (FunBucks) or a significantly reduced cash refund (after an 18% restocking fee).
My actual experience was even worse. I made a large, multi-costume $935.00 order #******* (my first) and promptly returned a portion of that order for a FunBucks store credit of $389.57 on November 20,2020. Without any notice or explanation my credit was "adjusted " down by $189.63 on Dec 11,2020. Everything I returned was complete, unworn, and in original packaging. When I inquired, HalloweenCostumes. Com claimed a cheap chest piece on one costume was missing and that justified denying credit on the entire costume (coincidentally, the most expensive costume). That is simply false, as all pieces (including that cheap accessory) were returned in original package. Multiple emails to the company were disregarded and met with a cursory reply that the company will do nothing to restore the $189.63 credit, or any portion thereof (which would still be stuck in store credit FunBucks). I an age of online shopping (and returns), I have never experienced or imagined such poor policies and customer service. I have also never written or published a negative review about any company. This is a first for me, but my experience suggests buyers should avoid this company and work with companies with normal return and customer service policies.
I ordered 3 sizes to try on as my body is not your average body. Found the size that fit. So I returned the others that didn't. They did not honor the return policy, saying it was used when I clearly did not use it I couldn't even get some of the items on they were too small! So now they have the products plus my money. I ordered two costumes at the end of November so that they would make it in time for Christmas. The websiet appeared to be based in Australia so that shouldn't have been an issue given the quoted 3-10 business days delivery. I'm now sitting at 15 business days since and teh tracking information hasn't updated since 2 days after the package shipped from the USA! Needless to say, it won't arrive in time for Christmas and the Customert Service was unwilling to do anything more than apologise for the inconvenience. Don't order from this site!
I've been shopping over the internet for years. Every company i ordered from their return policies were honored. I ordered two mrs santa costumes which came out to 380.00. I wanted to return the items and when i went thru the process it said the items are ineligible for a refund. I called i spoke to an agent. Informed her the policy states you can return within 30 days of the order date. Her answer was we wont be carrying the style next year. This is a blatant lie. I placed my first order for halloween. I had purchased two outfits and when i called the agent said the same thing. I said to myself ok but now a month later with a new order i received the same response.

I purchased a costume 3 weeks before Halloween. When it arrived I tried it on and it was way TOO BIG. I spoke with customer service who told me I could return it but would be responsible for 18% restocking fee. Ridiculous but I accepted that. I returned the product and waited 3 weeks for a response. I had to call in to find out what was happening and I was told that the return is complete but they cannot refund my money since the feet on the costume showed "slight wear." After arguing that I did not even wear this costume (other than trying it on), I was offered 50% refund. I then asked if they can just mail me my item back if they refuse to give me my full refund and was told that they disposed of the costume already for health and safety reasons! So I am supposed to be responsible for $140 for an item that I do not even have! I am awaiting a response from PayPal as we speak. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
The most horrible experience ever, Rip of with money. Also, be aware. I have not got my order yet and its more than month already. They guarantee the date during you make an order ( I saved screenshot) but then they refuse that fact and ask you to pay 18% restocking fee for the order they could even deliver in time. Be aware. I want to give them 0 star. Purchased a costume for my daughter but the head part was too tight so we ordered again 1 size bigger. On that second order they gave us a gift card to use and pay the remaining balance as the one size bigger costume is on higher price tag. So it came in but my daughter does not want to wear it anymore because she got traumatized when we had a hard time removing the head part on the first one. So I returned it and they refunded me with only the 2nd payment I did and gave me a GC on the first one which I asked them kindly to refund me in cash instead because I paid cash in the first transaction but they insisted the a GC is right base on their stupid refund policy. GC will not work for me because there is no way I'm buying from them again and I paid them cash so I need my cash back. 18% restocking fee and poor refund policy? Hell no, I'm not buying from them again. I felt I was robbed.
