Brooked as looked a good price. I thought I was on the official hotel site as it looked like it. In very small print which is easy to miss (I did) they charge 50% for recovered taxis and service charges. Next time I will make sure I am on the official website for the hotel. It has cost £60 more than it should have for 1 night.
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing: The receptionist, Angelina, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked about the check-in and out time process, she told me "Don't argue with me". She clearly lacks courtesy and proper customer service skills. The price of the hotel is very high compared to the quality offered. The furniture is outdated and really needs renovation. Cleanliness was not up to standard. On several occasions, I found hair on the towels. I specifically requested a double bed, but they gave me two single beds pushed together instead. Positive side: The restaurant in the lobby was excellent. The staff there were very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Final opinion:
Despite the great restaurant experience, I would never book this hotel again and I do not recommend staying here.

I booked it here knowing the price that was shown is lesser than the actual hotel booking! Unfortunately after i mistakenly click the reserve butyon ut shows me US dollar charge up to $200 plusss! I called to cancel it bug it says that a cancellation fee of my actual booking should be paid no refund! This is a scam! Why are you existing here! Guestreservations website has created a similar website than the Seehotel Pilatus in Switzlerand to confused customer. I thought I was connecting wrontly direclty to a subcontractor of the hotel which is not the case. Guestreservations charged me 154USD as services fees while going finally through Booking.com. While I was thinking this was a fraud, I called the hotel that confirmed to have received the reservation via booking.com. I am a Swiss traveller and will never used again guestreservations.com,

They advertise a low rate but when payment is made, a huge fee is added. To rush you through and be less careful, they will set a time limit for you to complete the booking.

Avoid this company at all costs. They misrepresent their prices, and guest end up unknowingly paying more than the price that is advertised. You can choose a currency to pay on their website, however, they actually charge you in USD (Regardless of which currency you select) Their human representatives are extremely hard to get hold of, and their hotline bot actually hangs up on you so that you can't actually reach a real human being. This business buys rooms from Booking.com, Agoda and Expedia and sells them on to unknowing guests and a disgusting and hidden markup. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I stayed at this property on June 13th-15th for my sister's birthday and we paid like 1200 for the two days. The first room we were given had a toilet that was busted and the water was leaking all on the floor so they moved us to another room. When we finally got the keys for the next room the maid was told to spray the rooms down with a substance she wasn't aware of but used it anyway because the manager said the room smells like mildew in which I recorded the conversation. When we walked inside the room it was dark but it had a strong smell of some cleaning product. As I pushed the cart with our bags through the door I ended up falling injuring my knee again because the floors were saturated with the chemical the maid sprayed. My knee immediately swelled up. I was given an ice pack and offered a free drink at their bar. When the manager on duty came to the room he observed the chemical on dressers, beds and floors still wet. He called the maintenance guy to clean it up but he slipped in the same spot I fell in. My entire weekend was ruined we couldn't really do much at this point because my knee was hurting and swollen. When I returned to my city I went to the ER and followed up with my doctor. The general manager never reached out to me except to say she was sorry it happened and asked me to send her my bills. It's been two months I haven't heard anything back from her nor did the risk management team reach out to apologize or for any type of compensation for my injury. This was the worse service I ever received being that they are rated a top hotel they have the worst customer service and encourage anyone who stays here to keep in mind that do not care if something happens to you on their behalf or property. This location is the Durham City Center 201 Foster Street really expensive but they are not worth the money you pay for these basic unsafe rooms.

Safety is a serious issue here. If you feel unsafe or decide to leave early, management will still take your money with no flexibility. On top of that, check-in was a nightmare, service was unfriendly, and our room was poorly maintained with odors and broken furniture. The beach is rocky and unusable, amenities are mismanaged, and food/drink options are weak. Overall, Ocean Coral Spring is one of the most disappointing and concerning resorts I've stayed at.

Booked the room in December of 24 for August 15th 2025. Paid in full. Show up to have no room. They canceled 3rd party reservations without telling the customers. No help to find a new hotel. Just excuses about delayed construction. I would never attempt to stay at Troy again. Do Better.

Not even a star for this. I wish I have read the reviews prior to booking this place. I had a terrible experience with this hotel about the reiterated comments of hidden charges. A resort fee of $20 is absolutely ridiculous which you will be made aware of a day prior to your check in (which will be too late to cancel a reservation) or worst, right when you are checking in. A parking fee of another $20 is another issue. This place is no where near the falls. It is like 10mins drive or an hour walk. During my stay, there are like only 5-7 cars parked. It is not even full and not in close proximity to where you want to be when you are in Niagara. Even the lady that checked me in seems no sympathy and have dismissed me when I try to ask about this resort fee, like they already know what to say. This tells me that everyone who checks in have questioned this issue and they just don't do anything about it. They say it is not hidden, then it should be included on the total payment upon booking so guests can decide if they want to push through with booking you guys! Guests won't be taking their time reviewing your terms of service or what not. This is clearly deceiving the guests. You say the Resort fee is for the wifi? This is unacceptable. Wifi is supposed to be an inclusion when you pay for a room, ESPECIALLY if your hotel has poor data service! After all these reviews, no changes were made to this establishment. This lack of resolution made me think that management is only after revenue by deceiving their guests. They don't care about guests' satisfaction (which mind you- plays a big role in the hospitality industry). That said, there is no coming back to this place, no good reviews and no referral to family and friends. I do hope that every guest trying to book this place will be able to read all the comments in here before hitting that confirm booking.

This company charges a very high and undisclosed service fee for each reservation and then books your reservation through a third party site like Priceline. Avoid this company and book hotels direct with hotel or through a known reputable site.

Will start with the good, they are good at not calling back, making false promises and bidding fees. The last 5 days i have been trying to get a refund because i found a cheeper rate. They would not refund me ( requested in written time line) have sent 5 + emails, left requests on website and Called over 10 times. Each phone call ended with either getting hung up on ( most recent) out on a list for a supervisor to call with in 2 hours (4 times) and or nothing else they can do the request has been put in and the supervisors don't have time for me. Not all fees were included had to pay over 200 on site to check in. My weekend that was supposed to be a fun getaway turned into a stressful situation where we didn't have any extra money because it went to the extra fees not included

The room Had blood stains on the sheets, rat poop by the bed rails on floor and some type of small bug under sheets on mattress would highly recommend spending a night at the local crack house on an inflatable float before I stayed here sad part is you don't even get a refund so off my room and my 2 friends rooms they made over 360$ in a day for being nasty and we had to drive extra miles and stay at the homewood suites by Hilton instead but was worth it considering the dump they are running here not to mention the house keepers smoking in the rooms while they should be cleaning it instead horrible horrendous experience! I wouldn't even give a star but can't leave review unless you do which is crazy all by its self

10:30pm climbing into bed. 4 small blood spots on the sheet! They came and changed the sheets, had to come back at 12:00pm because she forgot something in our room! Left next day for a family reunion at 12:30 and returned at 10:00pm to find beds not made, wet towels on the floor, trash overflowing, and no tissue! At 10:30pm front office brought more towels! NOT A GREAT STAY!

TOTAL SCAMMERS! REPORT TO ReportFraud.ftc.gov I have emailed them, spoken to them. Absolutely refuse to refund me the money less than 3 hours after I made the booking AND even if they have a 'best price guarantee terms' in the email THEY sent me when they confirm my booking. They charged me 40% MORE than the rate of the hotel. They impersonate hotel websites using close names and using the hotels pictures. The reservation comes to the hotel through Booking.com. Not Guest Reservations. They set up a fake booking.com account under MY name but with a different address and telephone number, which means I can not access it, and preventing me to cancel myself. Booking.com has been made aware and so has the hotel. The hotel and booking.com have even sent Guest Reservations an email stating there will be NO fee for cancelling. But Guest Reservations refuse to abide by their OWN terms and conditions and refund me without taking 1200 usd!
