I ordered my boyfriend and I shirts here during the COVID-19 pandemic... they are awesome shirts and very comfortable, lots of compliments. They didn't shrink much when I washed them which is something I'm always worried about
I ordered a USAF baseball cap from this company, 6 weeks ago. I received ONE email telling me that my order was received. 6 weeks later, multiple emails about what has happened to my order, and NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! No response from ANYONE in their company, no hat, NADA! To say that l'm pissed, is an understatement! Save yourself the grief. DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from them! Customer service? Where? Nothing! Absolutely disgusting!
I purchased in good faith, on the quoted delivery date even allowing for an extra few days just because… Well package is five days late and now I have to pay for shipping to have it returned to me since the person I was sending it to was only there on vacation. The company offered me a big ole' 10$ Gift card. I doubt I will spend more $$ on GRUNT anything!

I ordered a T-shirt and a hoodie. Well I got the T-shirt but they never sent the hoodie but they took my money for it. So I paid $75.00 for a t-shirt. I contacted them several times but they did nothing but gave me excuses why they have not sent it. They would have had a good customer from me. Never again will I order anything from them.

We have been loyal customer for years. Just recently we purchased multiple shirts and hoodies. We noticed the newer designed shirts were really thin and fit strangely around the arms. They were all the same size. I checked the labels, the ones still made with 100% cotton are great, but the new shirts are made with a cotton "blend" and they fit terribly and you can see completely through them. We complained by email to advise them. They basically replied back stating 'we should have looked at the description when ordering the shirts because it states what materials the shirts are made of'. They didn't offer a free return label, I had to pay $11 to return the "cotton blend" shirts. It's sad they are going down on their quality to make more money. I would rather pay the extra cost to have a GREAT product. My father is an army veteran. My husband was a full-time firefighter 9 years, currently a police officer for 5 years. We supported Gruntstyle for many years, unfortunately we will no longer be purchasing from them. *** If you decide to purchase from them, make sure it's 100% cotton. Once their old supply is gone, I bet they will only have the "cotton blends" available.

If you are only interested in the ones that are 100% cotton we do have many available. As it is stated on our website we do not offer free return labels (only for purchase) but you do not have to purchase them from us. Many other carriers may offer a return label for cheaper. As a veteran I really dug a lot of their attire so I decided to sign up for the membership back around 2 years ago. $22 a month and I get a nifty shirt every month. At first everything was great up until I went to cancel my subscription. First off can't quit through app nor via website, have to call or email. So several months back emailed them with my account number saying that I wanted to cancel. Several days later got a response back saying "that they are sorry to see me go but they could give me a month or two for free." I responded back with no thank you just cancel the subscription. No further response and I think it's all done... Nope that time of the month rolls around and there it is $22 gruntstyle charge on my statement. Email them again and yet again get the same "sorry to see you go" nonsense. Do I have to have a lawyer spell it out to you cancel my God damn subscription. Took multiple phone calls to finally get through to a human on the phone to cancel stay away. Better companies out there like nine line that are actually veteran owned.

Customer service is terrible. Ordered shirts in November for Christmas and here it is 12/28 and still no shirts. Wrote several emails with no response. Finally called and was told its shippers fault not GS. Now 1 of the shirts is not in stock and they only offered a sorry and store credit. Terrible terrible customer service. Customer service complained too many emails they cannot answer everyone and also very hard to contact by phone. Now my shirts will not ship until after the 30th due to inventory. SO YES AGAIN LATE AND WILL NOT RECEIVE UNTIL AFTER JAN 1ST. Never again for me to order here again. Typical company that grew too fast and is more worried about the profits coming in then taking time to worry about customer service.

As a Veteran I like supporting vet owned small businesses. That being said me and my buddies probably spent over $2000+ on GS merchandise over the years since they first started. However, a recent purchase really pissed me off. Why are you guys not shopping with major logistics companies anymore and using an inferior one called Pitney Bowes? Before they used to ship within a few days and if I ordered on Monday, I would get it by Friday that same week. Now it's been over 2 weeks and going into 3. I've wanted to wear the shorts I purchased from GS for a vet ruck March but now I couldn't. My order is Order #GS*******. Please look into this. I live in NYC and it's stuck in NJ for the past two days and it's not even that far away. Hopefully you're not pulling the dumb stuff Combat Iron Apparel clothing did by relying heavily on Veterans who are more likely to support your business because many businesses do become arrogant once they become big and forget where they came from. If I could give less than one star I would. My boyfriend introduced me to this company and showed me the beer guarantee and I thought that was a great policy. So when he decided to sign up for the monthly subscription, I decided to too. Well it is now 1/8/21 and I have not received a shirt since 10/27/20. But they keep taking out their money every month. I have reached out to customer service multiple times about my orders and received generic responses. Now I have emailed customer service about cancelling my membership. Their response is that there is a $25 fee for early termination before 7 months. I have gone back and forth with them probably about 10 times explaining my situation, explaining that they have had inadequate service resulting in me wanting to cancel my membership. But they refuse to waive the $25 cancellation fee. Why should I have to pay extra money to cancel a subscription on shirts I haven't even received. Then when I hadn't even finalized cancelling my membership because I was still disputing the fee, they cancelled anyway and charged my account without my permission. Since my experience I have started to read reviews on BBB and realized many others have had my same problem. I do not recommend to anyone the monthly subscription or this company at all.
I purchased 4 items from them over 2 weeks ago. It is not the first time I have bought their merch. Their tracking link wasn't updating at all, I knew my package was lost. They refused to even look into it until after 5 business days had passed. Due to Presidents Day 5 business days was actually 11 calendar days. I finally followed up after the 5 business days and they agreed then, my package is indeed lost (told you so). They even admitted to me in the first communication that their shipping company isn't very good and does not communicate with them. Then why are you using them? The problem now is 2 of my 4 items are now out of stock and I can't get them. Nice. Maybe had you addressed this the first time I reached out to you I could have gotten what I ordered. Now they want me to pick new items OR they will send me a gift card. BS! No offer of refunding me? I don't think so. Your business model doesn't know the first thing about how customer service works. I bought and paid for my items. YOU or your shipping agent lost them. Why is that MY problem? Successful businesses know not to make their shortfalls the customers problem. You don't tell me that I have to find a replacement item or take a gift card, you ASK ME if I would like to do that OR have a refund. I like your product but the way you handled this I will NEVER buy from you again. EVER.
First, I want to apologize for any confusion or frustration that was caused these issues. We do ask customers to wait the 5 business days once the tracking stops updating so that it can be labeled a stale label.
The reason we ask you to wait is because sometimes the package will end up being delivered with the tracking not updating at all. Sometimes it will deliver and the tracking updates all at once. Unfortunately, some of your items were last chance items and that is why were not able to reship them. I am more than happy to create the reshipment order with the two replacement items and I have reached out to you via email to get you taken care of.
I joined their shirt of the month club. After over a year, I decided to cancel it because the shirts were not something my husband really wanted to wear -- too cutesy for him. I emailed them on December 30,2021, to cancel my membership. I was told that they had already generated the "invoice" so I would have to get another shirt but that would be the final invoice -- at the end of January. In that email they asked if I wanted to skip 1-3 months. Nowhere in the email did it require me to respond to them. However, they again charged me this month -- today! Two months after I canceled! And they are refusing to refund my money for a shirt I don't want. They are telling me I can send it back and then they will refund me -- and they haven't shipped it yet! What idiot customer service is this? I don't understand why you would want to send a customer something they don't want. I would NEVER do that to my customers! Do not get anything from this company! Their quality has gone down and their customer service is horrible! I would not recommend them to anyone!

I really enjoy patriotic shirts and buy them regularly and was very excited to receive this shirt worn flag XL, at first glance and feel the material felt great and the graphics where very nice but as soon as I put it on I felt like I was being suffocated I wear XL and whenever I order XLs they feel great this one was difficult to put on so I had my brother who wears a mix of L and Ms and he didn't even fit in the shirt! I emailed their customer service and they essentially told me it was my fault for not measuring myself prior to purchasing the shirt and told me in order to EXCHANGE the shirt I'd need to measure out the entire shirt. I will no longer be buying ANY shirts from this company and I'd advise the same for anyone else.

This company feigns patriotism however they are pure snakes in the grass who will bleed a nickel from you around every turn! MAKE SURE the size you buy fits! Do not go off of reviews or conversations with their staff. Use the inept size guide (which doesn't include arm length or neck to waist length) just take a shot in the dark! If it doesn't fit be prepared to spend money to give them their product back in the hopes the next size actually does fit. Want to think ahead and simply buy the next size so you can have both products side by side and make a sound decision before you send it back? Sure! However, if you had a coupon code they will NOT match it on the new purchase – you will actually spend more! And then… then you will have to spend to send one back! This company falsely stands on the idea it takes care of people especially those in the military. It DOES not. It fakes it to get you to buy and then traps you, ignores you, and simply says "I'm sorry YOU fell that way". Their customer service is lacking and after speaking to the manager Soshie I can understand how it trickles down. So, to all of you would be customers I truly hope you get the right size the FIRST time or else be prepared to SPEND! Better yet go to a REPUTABLE company who doesn't use gimmicks in a frail attempt to stay in business using a "Military ploy". A company's character and longevity are shown through how they treat their customers not the fake premise they stand on.
