I'm a Walmart Delivery driver they need to do better For us delivery people we work so hard In the 100 degree weather don't get paid enough only $7 to 8 Delivery fee for 3 orders now So yes we are looking for a tip I'm Single mom This is my second job. We don't get paid hourly we do go by tips Walmart allows Customers to not tip and take away tips when it's not even our fault Especially for Pick up because the workers put it in our cars and we deliver Big orders to a customer's house And sometimes upstairs If they take the tip back They don't even have to have a reason to take it back either. It's really sad they must want people to work for free for them

CALLED STORE WHERE THIS ORDER CAME FROM NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE! I THEN CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLY GET FOREIGN COUNTRIES ON THE PHONE WHO PUT YOU ON HOLD REPEATEDLY! YOU WILL (NEVER) GET ANYONE IN THE (USA)! ON THE PHONE! THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP ONLINE? THERE ARE ONLY ( 2) OPTIONS THERE WHICH IS THE YEARLY CHARGE OR MONTHLY CHARGE? As many others have stated, the delivery is terrible. Many of my items are missing and I have to call customer service about them. First of all, don't make me pick a time which you never seem to deliver on time. Second, stop charging me instantly, and when calling about items missing it takes you 10 days to refund me. Did it take you 10 days to take my money? Stick with another delivery service. I'm going back to Instacart. At least I won't be charged for missing items and can substitute in case. Their shoppers don't pay attention to the order and just grab only what they can find in 5 seconds so they suck on that part. I don't like the fact I have to wait 5 days to get the delivery. If they are going to do this then they need some restructuring in how they do it or they need to give up the ghost because they SUCK! Good thing I'm only using a free trial. Anyone who isn't and this is the only way to get your delivery I feel bad for because they aren't giving you good service. Hire people to do the shopping and not the already stressed-out workers you have. They don't even update the status showing the delivery. Again, this has been the worst experience in delivery ever. No wonder Amazon and Instacart is kicking their $#*! in this department
I ordered my food on Sunday to be delivered on Tuesday between 11 AM - 12 PM. I did not received a call it was 12:00 Noon and I called and they said that my ordered would not be delivered because they do not have a driver. They did not call me to tell me. I had to reach out to them about why they were not there. I spent 200.00, cash for this food. So once they cancelled the order they still had my money would not release my 200.00, to go else where to order. The per I was chatting with told me to call the local store at Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis IN, they hung up on me. They asked me to ask for OPG - Amanda. Amanda did not come to the phone. I called back and waited on hold for 45 minutes still nothing. They told me if I signed up for delivery they would waive my 9.99 delivery fee they still charged the delivery fee. I would not give them 1 star if I had the option. Walmart on Pendleton Pike and German Church is garbage they have the worst customer service ever. I will never never shop or spend one red penny in this store again. They said it will take 24 - 48 hours to get my money back from my bank so I do not have my grocery or my money
They are not dependable at all. No one contacts you to tell you if your order is late or cancelled, you have to chase after them to cancel and avoid being charged for nothing. They are terrible.
I had a partial order that was being delivered but all of a sudden, the guy decided not to deliver and went back to the store. Hours later, Walmart decided to cancel my order for no reason.
WalMart delivery service has both people problems and system problems. People problems are to be expected where someone can't find the address. BUT a system problem overlies this because when you try to contact the driver, the phone number will not work. The system allows you to edit delivery instructions and save the info. I have on multiple occasions to warn drivers to not rely on GPS, because it takes them to the wrong address. But, I have to re-enter it each time because the save function does not save. I get texts telling me my order is delayed when in reality there was a screwup and the order never processed down to the store level. Really no fun waiting all day for the delayed order and it never comes. I get emails telling me that since I have not returned mis-delivered items, that I have already called about, my account will be charged. That takes another call to fix the problem. You have to really watch WalMart on that. On the bright side, the people at the WalMart help line are great. They return your request for a call very quickly, and they have been most helpful. I am home bound and disabled and I really wanted WalMart Delivery to work well but the stress of staying on top of orders is simply too much. It is always an adventure it seems.
So, once again I ordered groceries to be delivered yet they lied and cancelled my order. I even called after I made the order to MAKE SURE it would be delivered since they have the reputation of being so unreliable. Then after being 2 hours after my delivery window and supposedly being out of items like "bread", I get the text that its on its way followed by another immediate text that the driver "attempted" to deliver. Clearly a lie since I have a ring doorbell and a dog and he couldn't physically have done that so fast. I contacted again Walmart customer service for them to lie and say the driver felt some of the items were damaged. Which is it?! I then even tried calling the store directly for over 30 minutes just to have no one answer. It is ridiculous. So much time, energy, frustration, and more dealing with this company. I even tried another time but nope, that's how deliver is now I guess. You can't contact your driver. You can't talk to an actually physical person at the store to deal with it. All you can do is a chat that looks at a computer and does nothing to help that you can't do yourself.
I hate that this business has a monopoly in our area when it clearly is not a good business. If you have to use them, just don't rely on delivery EVER!

THE REFUND POLICY OF TAKING A FULL 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO RETURN IF YOU CANCEL A PICK UP ORDER SHOULD BE DISCLOSED IN WRITING AT THE MOMENT YOU ENTER THE PURCHASE CART.
I think this is a good class action suit just waiting to happen.

I've had them throughout this pandemic, and it's been one nightmare after another. They can almost never get my order correct, or the majority of my items are missing while being charged as if I had them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and when you call the actual store that put ur groceries together, WALMART CHICOPEE, they are also very rude and unable to give you a reasonable explanation of why this keeps happening! I pay $12.99/month for idk what reason! I rather pay gas for someone to take me! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! DEFINITELY UNSUBSCRIBING!
We have used Walmart many times for grocery pick-up and delivery with, if not all, having issues with each transaction. It has only been over the past 4-6 weeks that we realized how inconvenient and non-responsive Walmart program and customer has been. After having Covid (Hospitalized), having cancer surgery and having a disabled son in household it has really been noticeable. We order for pick-up and it is delay for hours and when you call your local Walmart they don't pick-up, don't have answers or just hang up on you. When you call Customer Service it is the same with inability to help, not follow through on promises and just get hung up on, which is worst and most frustrating issue.
Walmart is putting customers second due to the size of Walmart, just because they can. My personal view tells me that over the course of time this will catch-up with them in terms of loss of customers which will translate into opportunity for other retailers to pick-up customers and finally effect stock share prices. It might be a slight effect, but I feel this will and is happening. We, as of today, no longer shop at Walmart.

I shopped for over $200 worth of Groceries only to get to check out and not be able to! I might recieve my groceries one out if five times. I tried to cancel my subscription, but Walmart made it impossible to find the right link to do this. Now I'm out $100. Don't use this service. Walmart takes your money when you place an order, and 4 out if five times, don't deliver your order. You recieve a
"Delayed up to two hours message", but the order never shows up. Sometimes, you don't even recieve a message. When you call about it, the only option given is to cancel your order. They tell you it's not possible to reschedule. Then you find out that you may not get your money back for up to 10 days. So...Walmart has your money, and you have no food, medicine or pet Supplies. Some of us are living paycheck to paycheck. And can't afford to pay the same grocery bill twice. If you DO reorder, they end up rescheduling it anyway, and it ends up coming 3 days later while you at work. Perhaps this is their way of trying to get twice the money from you. If you go to the store, and pay for your groceries, the store can't keep them that's just theft! And that's what it is when Walmart keeps your money for nothing. If they don't deliver your order, there should be no charge! There would be no need to wait 10 days for a refund. Instacart has never not delivered an order of mine. On my last order, they didn't find two items I ordered. Not only didn't they charge me for the items, they gave me a $10 credit for the inconvenience. That's how customer's should be treated!
Avoid Walmart grocery delivery, and stick with Instacart.
As title indicates, Walmart cannot deliver large orders in a single day usually taking an entire week to deliver your items if they have them at all. Communication is spotty at best and they will happily replace an item but won't allow the consumer time to do so. They sell weighted items such as produce and only allow the customers to purchase by quantity rather than weight they apply a surcharge of 10% and even if you use EBT they still charge cash for the surcharge on food items. They send items early which under normal circumstances would be well and good but not when you won't be home and have specified a date and time for grocery items that may spoil. I have had consistantly terrible results every stinking time I order from them and have half of my order cancled at times with no chance to substitute items or even remove them. Once your order is placed they have the majority of control and little to no communication with the customer. I DO NOT recommend using this service unless, like me, you have no other options.
I'm a driver for Walmart delivery and it is shady as heck for customers to be allowed to take back tip. First of all we just deliver your groceries. If you don't get something it is not our fault. If something is squished it is not our fault. We don't do the shopping or loading but we do use our cars and gas and bring your items to the door and get paid on average $4-$5 per drop off. But Walmart allows customers to put a tip on there just to make the offer better for someone to want to bring it and then the next day the tip has been removed. First of all, I think Walmart should pay more for their drivers and the drivers would be more than willing to deliver it without a tip, but to ask anyone to go get your groceries and use their gas, car and time for $4-$5 is ridiculous! It's all saving Walmart money and the customer is confused of why they pay a membership fee if they aren't really getting it free. Your fee is paying for them to hire workers to shop your items. Not for delivering them.
My 1st time ordering with Walmart was a bad experience because the person did not read or speak English A few more times prove that Walmart figured this system out by having a 3rd party to deliver your groceries they are not honest missed 50% of the time you will receive your groceries and the other 50% of the time I don't know what they do with it Truthfully is it worth it I don't know the selection of stores lead you hopeless because you're only able to buy canned goods and things that are shelf if you don't have a supercenter near you Walmart you need to try again because it sucks and buying reviews on other sites
And customer service promised me twice 25% off never ever seen the coupon

I've used Walmart's grocery delivery service for over a year in Pensacola Fl. And it's been pretty good. But starting this weekend the service has been horrendous. I ordered groceries to be delivered to my 89-year-old mother and set a time of 10 am. The order never arrived and I got an email that the groceries were delivered, but nothing arrived. I checked the neighbors and no groceries were delivered anywhere. I got on the phone with customer service who said the order had been delayed due to a driver cancelling despite the email and the website stating that the groceries had been delivered. They told me to wait until 8 pm upon which I told them that I would not accept delivery after 3 pm. Delivery never arrived and I filed a return for the order on their website and reordered everything for the next day at 10 am. This next order is hours late and customer service tells me again the driver has cancelled the order and advised me again to wait until 8 pm. I've been paying for Walmart's delivery membership, but If I can get groceries delivered what is the point? I would not recommend this service, especially in Pensacola. It is badly mismanaged.

Walmart + customer, so a service I pay for. I've had a favorable impression in the past, to be fair. I had booked a 2 hour delivery window for a grocery delivery. Right before end of delivery slot received text message to say order delayed. 1.5 hours beyond end of of delivery slot, I receive text message to say delivery cancelled. I call to enquire why, since items have been shopped for and presumably my credit card has been charged. I get conflicting information from customer service person as to status of order, the woman constantly interrupts to reply with scripted responses, at which point I decided to cancel the order. I receive a text message to say cancelation is pending. Nearly 10 hours later, I receive a text message to say that order was delivered at 9.38 am. Yet another phone call to 1-800 number since local store does not answer calls, and finally get a refund for the charge. Incidentally, my husband had to go to the store to buy the items so that I could actually cook our evening meal. Not impressed. I'm certainly hoping that Amar who supposedly delivered the order has not received the tip.
