Do not use Walmart for grocery delivery. I called my local store to check on my delivery because it was quite late and I had received no updates. I was told they had started using a new delivery service instead of door dash and now cannot guarantee the window and also could not give me any indication of when the food would be delivered. She said the drivers have their schedule set at the beginning of the day and they pick the orders up whenever they can and get them there whenever they can. I asked what was the point of choosing the window of time if that was the case and was given no answer. Ridiculous. Poor customer service. Canceled my membership fee immediately and will be using a different delivery service going forth.
It's really crap shoot ordering from Wal-Mart for delivery. Either nearly half of what I've put in my cart is out of stock when I get ready to place my order, or after ordering, when it's ready for delivery, a goodly amount of items are no longer available. Very frustrating. Also my orders have gone missing several times and I've had to ask for refunds for the whole order or parts of it I paid for but didn't get. Another time I received a call saying I needed to pick up an order that plainly stated it was for delivery. Only reason I haven't canceled my membership are some items I can't get elsewhere and the free shipping on anything I shipped by FedEx.
Important items did not show up and the substitution feature on the app did not really help. One item in particular was available for months and months via pickup, but now all of a sudden it was unavailable via delivery and no substitution opportunity was given. I would like to know why things seem available when you're picking up, but unavailable when you're getting delivery. Already unhappy I signed up.
3 hours late, customer service doesn't know the status.
I got an email saying it was out for delivery at 11 am.
Received an update saying it was loaded on the truck at 12:55 pm.
Received an update saying the driver arrived at Walmart at 1:39 pm.
It's 1:53 pm right now and no new updates so far...
I have been using Walmart delivery for some time now, and lately, it's been a nightmare. I'm still waiting for a delivery promised 3 hours ago. They don't seem to care. I was offered that they will credit my shipping charge for my wait. When I told them that I had an appointment the customer service guy told me to wait for the driver.
I have strict instructions that deliveries are to be handed to a person and not just left outside for anyone to take but most of the time now all my walmart deliveries are left out in the parking lot for anyone to take
In am a Walmart+! Member. On Feb 5-6th I ordered nearly $200 in groceries. I have the order number. I spoke with a representative who went over each missing item (nearly $50) and she promised a refund that never came. With the economy being in the state it's in, I don't appreciate Walmart not following through. Some items were out of stock and I understand that, but they admitted it appeared all the items I ordered that were NOT out of stock and I didn't receive should not have been charged.
This has to do with customer service when you don't get all your items or someone else's items or they deliver it to the wrong house I stayed on hold for an hour for a refund that I can't just go back where they dropped it off and pick it up and bring it to you once they know that they delivered it to the wrong house. And you have to reorder everything and then who's to say if it gets delivered to the right house or not not very professional especially with Walmart stayed on the phone from 12:30 to 1:45 very bad experience
Ordered Groceries from Walmart.ca - at 1:57pm. My order status said delayed, it then said I would receive my order at 4:05 PM or earlier. 4:30 PM Still nothing, I called customer service, and was told there was no driver available. The rep said, I should be receiving my order by tonight. Ridiculously unreliable.
I ordered $45 worth of groceries ( all together) to be delivered to my home by 6 pm. At 7:30 I received a $2 bottle of hair mouse. That was it. The rest of my order was either out of stock. Nothing was substituted.( Which I check stock on line and it said in stock) a few of my items where cancelled ( not by me) and the rest was put under in store pick up. ( Again not by me). When I called customer service they told me I did it... but my online order said everything on my list was to be DELIVERED... my delivery was delayed. Another time I ordered my vitamins... I was sent an email saying they were out of stock. So I find a ride out there since I really needed them... and there where at least 20 on the self. Who ever filled the order did a $#*!ty half assed job. We are paying for a service and these idiots are getting by with screwing us over.
They pretend that delivery is free if you purchase over $35. The truth is you won't get your item delivered unless you add a tip, hence it is not free. Typical Walmart. Deception seems to be more the rule than the exception.
Trying to have groceries delivered is almost pointless. Even though the app says an item is in stock it never is. Items that used to be delivery are now pick-up only, such as canned goods, bottled water, salt etc... Nearly every thing is unavailable or out of stock. Items that used to be pick up or delivery are shipping only and that takes up to a week to receive. Overall a terrible and expensive experience.
This is twice that my home delivery has been sent to the wrong address, this time leaving a refrigerated in the 80 degree plus weather for over an hour. This is unacceptable.

I regrettably signed up for home delivery for a year. I've had to cancel delivery services on several occasions because Walmart didn't have anyone to deliver the groceries to my home. Meat should not be left in a grocery cart waiting on a driver to bring groceries to your home. Once you cancel your order- it takes several days for your account to be credited! This is just not acceptable.The last time I ordered, I wanted to get my granddaughter some Mac/Cheese. I'm waiting several days later on NO update on when it will be delivered!
I ordered groceries on Wednesday morning. Placed delivery at 8 to 9 night delivery. No delivery. I called

Me but as of 4:27 this afternoon, still no groceries. Said it may be tonight. I am not holding my breath. I told them that if I ordered the groceries obviously I needed them especially since a senior citizen and do not drive. I hope they come tonight at least. I however will not order from Walmart grocery or anything else. Apparently cannot guarantee their a timely delivery service. Sad because I actually like Walmart. Just do not trust them anymore.
I've had delivery issues in the past with Walmart to the point that I stopped ordering from them for over a year.
I've recently gotten back to ordering from Walmart earlier this year. I've had a few hiccups but nothing too bad until this past week.
Over the weekend (Saturday) multiple items were missing from my order, however, those were refunded. Yesterday, I placed an order that was actually en route over an hour late only to be delivered to the wrong address. The picture where the driver left it was a red blur. That order was refunded. Today, I placed a small order for items needed the same day. This order was an hour late. The app updated my order to en route, then delayed, and then canceled within fifteen minutes.
Never again. I'm done.

Save time and aggravation by going to the store yourself... you are not going to get what you want and you won't know until it gets to you... my order was delivered and I just got a message saying it was delayed and they would let me know when it was on the way... I have gotten messages the day AFTER I cancelled that they had to cancel because nothing was available. You people suck!
Had been using Walmart+ membership with few (maybe occasional minor) problems... That all changed 21 July when I tried to have groceries delivered to my mom's house for dinner. Waiting 2 hours for delayed delivery which never came (to find out that no driver was going to deliver at all)... Next attempt to order on 23 July (back home in SoCal this time) was also marked with a 2 hours delay and never delivered. Strike 3 - Expedite of the 23rd order resulted in 2 hours waiting only to find again that no driver was issued.
Really disappointed with the lack of information and the inability for them to address the service.
So many problems. Orders delayed then cancelled, orders delayed then showing delivered 5 hours previous to the delayed message, though not actually delivered. Orders left in the wrong place. One time they sent me a picture as proof of the 'delivered' order it was a black square!
Delivery is either late or you don't get it, they they to say its still coming just running late, it never comes. They will hold your money for days and then apologize with a $5 promo code that doesn't work and then customer service will not help you to use your code
