Not the easiest car rental to find as not in the airport terminal - about a 10 minute walk with luggage.
A very competitive rate through Easy Jet. I would recommend getting excess insurance as the roads are pretty hair raising and not much street light for night driving, but all in all I would rent from Green Motion again. Sarah

No fuel at all was in the car, they used to do it to let people bring the car with more fuel, cheap way to cheat people
Front right Head light was not working, they dont even bother to fix it
They deduct money from the deposite without sending details for what they deduct

The service was superb, the car was clean and in a good shape. Nice comms via phone since I've landed at the airport. We've waited about 20 mins at the airport, so really quick pickup from the second floor of the airport in Zagreb. When I returned the car there were no problems at all. You can order an Uber from the parking lot to the main city. Nice and easy. The deposit was unlocked on my credit card before I even left Croatia (about 2-3 days). Highly recommend this rental :)

When I was home I got an invoice with description 'servizio'. I sent an email with my question what was meant by that and where I could have seen that in advance. The only answer was for washing the car. Not only the amount was too high for a car wash, also nobody told me I had to pay for that and it also was not written down anywhere. On my request for further explanation on this I still received no answer

Answer: I have used them many times, always cheapest, always very new cars, always charming and helpful staff ( Stansted Airport). Every firm will try to get you to upgrade. Buy a 3rd party policy, and just say you have your own cover. Up to now I have never been scammed. I ALWAYS inspect the vehicle before. I drive off. I take photos and make sure I get it inspected and signed off by staff when I take it back.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at escalation@cs.greenmotion.com. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
