Google charged my card for no reason. I tried to contact Greendot and got no answer. Still on the phone waiting...
Greendot is reckless and indecent... Stop doing business with them... so no others will be hurt... There are no zeros? H,,,
I got scammed registering my card and Green Dot is not helpful at all getting my money back. Total joke there are other prepaid cards that are better
My 17 year old daughter has been working for 4 months, her company doesn't issue paper checks. Instead they issued her a Rapid Pay Card. Worst mistake! At first, all was great with the app and deposits. First note, you have to set the app up with all documents, including ID and Social Security card. 3 months into using the app and card, her money was not deposited to the account. Contacted customer Service. The Green Dot company was holding her money, stateing the account was not verified with the ID's. 4 customer Service agents later, after being yelled at and hung up on, 4 emails and 1 fax later - her id's were verified now we have to wait 24 hrs for final verification. This is a joke, simply theft for wages worked from a company that DOESN'T HAVE THEIR DUCKS IN A ROW. Nor an agent that can do anything, we get a different story from everyone that we spoke to. To the male customer service agent that yelled at my daughter, please! CALL BACK, I GOT You! YOu SUCK at customer Service and undoubtedly suck as a HUMAN BEING! KARMA, reap what you sow!
I just want to know how are they able to operate like this. I've contacted the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF SAN FRANCISCO numerous times and they seem to be okay with greendots business practices.

My 82yr old mom passed on Sept 2021. I had a green dot acct for yrs she was having over draft fees at her traditional bank.So I moved her direct deposit from social security to a Green Dot card everything was going well and since she lives with me I thought there's no sense in paying two charges each month and I just started using her account for both of us but when she passed. Social security didn't want the money back anyway. Long story short GreenDot has been holding her money since September I sent two different letters of closure with all the things they required death certificate my ID everything and one tells me the account's closed and then processing my check another one says the account is still open and it's been reviewed by loss prevention nd they sent the money social security& social security sent it back and they see that her check was deposited on the 29th it was all gone and I had made two cash deposit since then but I can't get that money and she needs her funeral bill paid but yet they're continuing to take their $8 per month out I am going to the better Business bureau somebody somewhere has to stop these people they're like Walmart money hungry greedy greedy greedy you ever put it in there they're going to find some way to try to keep it and you can bet the three different Green Dot bank cards in my wallet are gone I will never trust them with another penny that belongs to anyone in my family.
This has been a complete nightmare. I had a transaction deducted from my account on 9/20/18. I filed a disputed as instructed and the represented told me it would take 10 business day to resolve the dispute. I called on the 11th business day and received another date of 45 days to resolve the issue. At that point I closed the account today I found out the company sent the money back I went to log into the prepaid account and there it was just sitting there since the 8th October. I call the customer service line and they stated the only way to receive my money is for them to send it by mail in a check form which will take another 10 days. At that point will be well over a month from the time I filed the dispute. Please please do yourself a favor a run AWAY from this company. They are not here to help or protect the costumer as a regular bank typically has dispute resolved in half the time frame then what walmartmoneycard lies to you about. There are many banks you can go through if you need a debit cardswith no credit, first time banking or bad credit. Wells Fargo Opportunity Checking is one of them. At this point I'm going the legal route in order for me to receive my money because I don't believe a word they say and all of there representatives are from overseas and it is hard to understand them and they really don't care about your issues. COMPLETE TOTAL NIGHTMARE!

Tried to file a scam report on their website. I hit transmit and it says "sorry we cannot process your report at his time". And That's it!

I purchased a pre paid card so I would have a card to load money on for road trips. I was told I would receive a personal card in the mail shortly after. After 3 months with no sign of a personal card I called in and had a second one sent out... That also had not arrived 6 months later... Meanwhile I am about to go out of town and I load the card up with money... Well I forgot my pin since I last used it and am informed that I am unable to change it because I dont have a personal card... I ask if they had record of the card being sent and I was put on a 15 min hold and then transfered. After giving up all my info again and explaining that I should have had 2 personal cards but neither made it despite being sent to the address on file. I ask for a supervisor... Another 15 min hold and now I get connected to the worst line I have heard since dial up. After a few minutes threw the broken English and broken phone line I determine this individual is in fact not a supervisor! At this point im very upset and tell him i need a supervisor on the line now. And he wants me to give up my info again to get connected... Now I am quite mad as he puts me on hold and the line DISCONNECTS shortly after. I then call back and try to explain the problem and asking for a supervisor AGAIN. The line that was perfectly clear before goes dead silent the moment a bring up supervisor. I keep asking if Sarah can hear me. When I said can you hear me I need a supervisor to cancel this card... SHE disconnected the line. Im done never use this company. They are charging me monthly and cant even send a card out over a 9 month period. I'm going to have to go online and manually cancel my own card. This was a nightmare.
They robbed me of my cash back of almost 52.00 because of the a 795 bank fee that was owed on the account that's really crappy
Someone activated my card and used it all before I could and never got any help or money back from customer service... never buy this card!
