I bought Gotham steel white pasta pot on Amazon not long ago. The white coating is already peeling and the handle material is chipping! I was very careful with this pot. Only washed by hand, no scrubbing, used for pasta only. Very frustrating. Amazon doesn't show this order, probably won't get refund. Pot is made of aluminum and it's exposed now, not good at all. Didn't like their pans either. Not scratch resistant like they claim.
No way will this pan do what the advertisement states. Total BS. It doesn't.
I am embarrassed to say I bought it.
It is pretty when new, however no different than Teflon or any other "miracle pan".
Liars, liars, pants on fire!
In the discription of these pans it says food won't stick. Well let me tell you. YES THEY DO. I hate using them but when you pay over $100.00 for the set what do you do. I am ready to get different pans.
My cheaper pans work better than Gotham ones.
Bought the Gotham Steel copper pan set for my wife for Christmas 2023. Worst gift ever. Pots and pans are completely unusable and had to be replaced after 6 months. They advertise "non stick" and that is absolutely untrue. Complete rip off.
Fry pans warp and absolutely everything sticks to the bottom and sides. In addition to their fry pans I bought some coated pots, what a waste of money the coating has started to peel off rendering all this money I spent a total write off. For the cost associated with these products you can easily go to Walmart and buy the cheapest set they have for the same result. Trash within 1 year. Unfortunately when I got these I paid using their 4 payment option and I never received a receipt.
Terrible product, total sham! One use and it was like I was cooking with super glue. Could not even get the pan clean it stuck so bad.
I purchased my set a year ago and have been happy. Now all the pans are sticking and getting a residue that you can't get off. Product is supposed to cook up to 500 degrees, so don't understand the rep saying cooking to high a temp, so turn down the heat. Never again! Lost my faith 💔
I purchased a set of Gotham pan back in 2022 on Amazon. It last for a month the metal part of the pan underneath started to melt and the pan got scratches it's supposed to be scratch resistant.
I called Gotham Steel customer services phone number was told to send the proof of purchase and pictures of the damages of pans which I did emailed them right way and asking for a replacement of my 4 pan set. After a few days I called following up on the status was told that they were out of stock and they will mail me new pan set once they received them in their Warehouse. Few weeks passed by never received it. I called several times they kept telling me the same thing. We don't have it in stock week later I called them again was told they will not be able to send me my replacement for the pan set because they were out of stock. So I wasted my money on this pan set.
Don't buy it! This company will not stand behind their warranty.
So I bought these pans so excited that they wouldn't stick or scratch first off I love making eggs that's my favorite thing for breakfast And I like mine over easy, so of course you can't stick to the bottom of the pan, first and foremost I don't like anything to take to the bottom of the pan. That's why I bought them. Yeah, well very disappointed in the quality even the scratch part that they say don't it happen yeah OK sure happened mine and I didn't even use metal. How is that possible? Even my sponge that I wash it with is the isn't metal I don't know. Just very irritated over the fact, I spent so much money on these pans and I can't even cook a dang decent egg. I had to revert back to my old pans, pioneer woman. Oh, and I have to laugh about the fact that they said in the reviews or response from Gotham steel is your cooking on too high of heat that's why things are sticking shake my head full of bs. So I guess the only way to cook now is on number one or low in their book anyway
We have a set, or at least what is left that are useable. Number one complaint is that they don't have a flat bottom. Fine if you have a gas stove but not so much on a glass top. They just rock around on the glass top. Where they touch the top, the food burns, and where they don't touch the top, food does not cook properly. Number two is the non stick coating does not last. It just burns away. They may be good for six months, but after that you will be throwing them out. Lids are ok though. Spend a little more on decent pans such as Jamie Oliver pans.
They SUCK! There not easy to clean. There supposed to be scratch resistant they are not! I'm disabled I was hoping for pans that wouldn't be hard to clean. What a joke. These are very expensive to me. I believe this false advertising. For myself being disabled I'm disappointed.I put my trust into your product. It failed miserable. I sent the photo. You show nails, bolts and other things that aren't supposed to scratch it. I will say again LOOK at the pan
Pans will start sticking and develop a coating that will not come clean. Unable to email company. The customer service number closed on weekends. Waste of money
They demonstrate how it doesn't scratch?!? Almost every pan is scratched and not coming clean rip off - not even worth the first payment let alone 3 more payments- I will not pay another cent till they do right by me. Just saying
I bought one Gotham non stick pan at Walmart in Feb 2021. Only used two times ( 10 minutes each time), inner edge of the pan turned to black permanently, worse thing was it sticking only used for two months ( approximately 20 usages) -- 1/10 life of my previous pans at other different brands.
I wrote a review about these pans. I bought whole set. Waste of money. The handles got so hot it burnt my hands. Blisters n skin cake off. I got NO apologies or offer for refund. Unbelievable. Please PASS on these
I received the Gotham steel cookware in January of this year. Worked fine until this morning (July). My pancakes glued tight to the surface of the pan, and some would not come off without vigorous scrubbing. What a disappointment!
Bought these pans in January, they seemed too good. Last week we were making scramble eggs on low with avocado oil and judge for yourself the picture. We tried cleaning it with a sponge, leaving it a couple of days with water and soap (changing it daily)... the picture is how it looks today on the 5th day. Evidently, it's going to the trash. Do yourself a favor and don't buy Gotham steel, I still have the rest of the pan set, let's see...
Purchased these in 2022. Had them a very short time before they stared chipping and peeling. Even the ones I used less. I had contacted their support multiple times and every time they had said they were sending it and give it a few weeks. They eventually stopped replying to me all together and I have now had to purchase a new pots and pan set. I'm really disappointed in not just the set but the customer service especially when it's guaranteed 1 year warranty. I don't recommend buying this set.
I bought pans after watching a TV add and was impressed about how easy they make it look to clean these pans. Unfortunately after a few weeks it became evident that food, especially cooking eggs, stick to the pan and takes enormous effort to remove, the pans also scratch very easily, I would not recommend these at all. Returning the pans is also at the consumer's own cost, in spite of false advertising.
I got a Gotham Steel Pro set for my birthday in April. It's been five months and one of the pots cracked. Didn't just develop a chip, but CRACKED all the way through. The only thing that was in there was macaroni. There's no way to contact customer service on their site that I can see. I wound up just tossing the pot.
Answer: Did you get your money back? I bought a whole set. The handles get so hot. I burnt my hand. I have blisters and skin is burnt n coming off
