What can I say? More of a personal favorite than anything (with no slight to yahoo, bing or others) but whatever browser I use it is my default homepage+search engine. Google+ is becoming more relevant to the default Google search engine so we'll see if search results will suffer from some sort of favoritism.
I have a 6 ft privacy fence about 800 ft long and a lawn company was hired to cut my lawn front and back. In going to the back through a 5 1/2 ft wide gate the lawn cutter drove his 43 inch zero turn into my gate without opening it to get in and knocked it off hinges and broke it. I searched fence companies locally and came upon Carolina Fence Creations, owned by Brandon *******819 *******@gmail.com... Fast, outstanding repair service by the owner himself and his right hand man. Even replaced the handle opening the fence and no cost as original installer from a major home improvement company provided a inappropriate steel opener. If you are ever in need of a fence installer or repair call Brandon the owner, you are guaranteed to get the best personalized service ever. Thank you Brandon for a outstanding repair job, fair price and education for myself and all my real estate client.
A tremendously useful tool. I had been employed for the last 22 years for a company. Recently moved and had to put together a resume... OUCH! Thank God for My Perfect Resume. It is the most useful, helpful, and user friendly program I have used. My resume has been great, as I have have many job offers, and currently got the job I really wanted.
I have given this company 1 star but really it should not have any stars at all. Their set up an alert is mixed up with log in to your google account which if you have more than one Email address mixes up the Email addresses for your responses and causes you to have to go through a repeat process which even links to your internet provider. What a waste of people's time! Then there are the continual pestering messages about security processes. There is no exuse for vanity!. The whole world is not interested in little you in your little room trying to search the internet. If google could get that into their thick heads we could all be able to search the internet and use their services in peace. Unfortunately, they are determined to make your life a missery with their demands and logging in processes. For God's sake google grow up!
Got a pop up screen that told me something was wrong with my computer. Clicked on the ad and was taken to SafeCart. Paid money to have computer fixed. 3 months later Safecart calls and says my computer needs attention and in order to fix it I needed to pay more money. When asked why the money paid last time didn't help and catch the problem I was told "... that wasn't covered..." Three months later I get another call telling my that "my computer has been hacked this time... I need to take action"... Yet again when asked why the money paid twice before didn't help me was told "it doesn't cover this type of thing " What do you three 2.5 months later another call. These people were able to pull up account information from the computer and actually see usernames and passwords for various accounts.
No happy and would suggest to stay away. Seems like a scam.
I have really valued Google for years to find things and even for shopping. Recently it has come to my attention that Google is a good source of honest reviews for businesses as long as those reviews are positive or neutral. If you need a review site that is not afraid to also provide the less-favorable reviews that warn you of bad business practices then you need to instead go to Facebook for complete and factual reviews.
My factual review of a local pediatrician (Dr. Kevin Grant of Folsom--owner of "Folsom Lake Pediatrics") was deleted from both Yelp and Google apparently due to the business owner not liking it since it brought awareness of some serious integrity issues.
I greatly thank Google for all the help they have done for me via their search engine, maps, reviews, etc. Google is great!
I placed an order for shirts knowing the sizes based on a previous order. The shirt sizes and quality had completely changed with the new order. When I asked customer service for new shirts I was told the sizes and quality were the same even though I pointed out that it was a differing manufacturer. I was told to send them back before being allowed to place a new order. They would never have arrived in time for my event. Needless to say my group was unhappy with the order.
This service is USELESS! It's a total ripoff. It did absolutely nothing it claimed it would do to remove malware/virus from my computer. It just sits in your computer silently for 6 months doing nothing, then you get charged $20 from the company with "automatic renewal" of their "service".
Complete sham. Do yourself a favor. Do NOT sign up for this scam.
I live for the google. Google helped me graduate from graduate school! One million stars for google. I love doing research and reading celebrity gossip on google. I just wish google would not allow fraudulent sites to conduct business from their site.
Is anyone else tired of the vanilla results google is providing... I am.
I used to find interesting stuff all the time, no I have to change and redefine my search all the time until I finally just give up. Is there a good search engine out there?
They ruined everything when they removed the top shortcut bar. Now everybody has to click 10 buttons to get to google maps or to google videos. Why won't they stop from changing things when they are already good enough?
I was going to order a toy for my grandson. I went to this website to order the toy for Xmas. I gave them all my info but was trying to find out how long it would take to ship before giving final authorization. Finally I got to the page that said it would take 5 weeks so I tried to quit the transaction. I backed out of the website but they charged my CC anyways. Then when I tried to call their customer service, I was on hold for 3 hours - literally. Clearly they don't sell the product. They just phish CC info from unsuspecting customers. They need to be shut down!
I have very little trust in Google. They are okay at helping me to locate data but that data usually has to line up with their ideology. Additionally I keep getting a notification that I need to update my Google profile with my date of birth to comply with the law. There is no law, repeat no law, that I am aware of that requires me to provide Google with my birth date and I'm getting tired of them lying to me to try to get this information.
I ordered one download of Spyware Doctor, Apparently it was billed through safecart.com. I was billed twice. I called them' and called them. They have a machine that answers and says all of their support people are busy. How do I get through to them! Please folks stay away from this site. Trouble is you don't you you are dealing with this site until it is too late.
I love Google but I am giving it a 3 out of 5 because of its voice service you find on all the phones now days. I broke 2 Samsung On5 phones that I owned because I thought it was the phones that was making my voice to text all screwed up saying random... I never said. It really... me off! I would be talking to someone in voice to text & it would say some really... & off the wall... that I never said some of which started some unwanted drama with people who did not know me well. After I got other models of phones I have now found its Google Voice to Text not my phone/s. Such a waste, those were good phones & I just got... & decided I had had enough.
Google fix that crap!
Google has always been there to help me find what I need on the web. Although it seems to me that the web should be based on what real people are looking for not what a websites seo specilist is able to do to make it rank. It seems like this is the best option as of today for finding relevant content.
Our baby alpaca hand crafted products are a point of pride, especially while the industry has been flooded with acrylic blends and mass produced machine made "alpaca" products. Our accessories are a work of art and continue to bring natural beauty to those who value the true essence of baby alpaca and the art form of hand knitting and hand crafting.
They tell you they found all this info on a specific person before you purchase and when you sign up every category you click on says No Information Found, Information you can find online yourself. And forget them providing any information beyond that.
Safecart has removed money from my account when not authorised to do so, now not answering emails. Do not buy anything from them they will snatch money from your account in the future, it's just theft
They treat us like objects, they gather as much information about us as they can, sell it, then use their mantra "Do good". They have biased results. Have horrible looking websites. Don't give you any options. Try to stiffle competition. Buy all the new start-ups just to close them again. And are tricking society, they are "giving you look-good, useless services", just so we are dependent on them. When we should contribute to start-ups, local markets, diversity, and use as many different sources as we can.
Answer: Its a legit business almost every browser uses google as their search engine
Answer: I agree 100% with Linda B. It occurs to me that victims - I'm a former one, but I was able to get out with my money - should deluge Canadian consumer affairs with complaints about this most shonky of organizations
Answer: I could not. Their email address listed on their receipt and the server they use are non-existent.
