I made a reservation prepaid for 2 golfers at Isla Navidad course Mexico. We arrived at the course and we were told that they do not accept prepaid from golf now as they are owed a number of unpaid rounds from Golfnow and would not honour the reservation number. I have made several attempts to contact them to reverse the charge and have had no luck. DO NOT PREPAY WITH THESE PEOPLE. Only pay at the course

PLEASE, DO NOT USE golfnow. You may save a few bucks here and there on a few rounds, but all it takes is a need to make a change and you'll lose way more than any savings or convenience you previously had. Seriously, I've spent $230 on my last two tee times where in one I had to cancel it, and the other I put in the wrong date and wanted to change it. No refund in either case.

OMG, customer service at Golfnow is so horrible, I just cancelled my account. I tried to book a tee time Sunday and accidentally selected Saturday. By the time I realized it, they had already charged me the booking fee and booked the tee time. After 4 fricken hours of trying to contact them and get this reversed or moved to Sunday, I give up and GN can go to hell! They will never get another $ from me.
I have tried each and every one of their tel. Numbers over 2 days to say I have been charged TWICE for a 2 ball at The Preserve in Tara, Sarasota. The answering machine just told me there was a 2 hour wait! What a con! They obviously know no-one is going to hang on for 2 hours. Comcast even told me their main numbers are no longer listed. Truly a non-caring grab-all Company so give them a very wide berth, it's the only satisfaction you will get.My confirmation booking no's are ******* and ******* and am happy to be contacted to confirm same.
I made a tee time, and canceled it within an hour. The tee time was for 2 weeks out. Golf now charged my credit card $126 to cancel. They claim it's was a hot deal, I never noticed anything about a hot deal, all the prices were the same. When I canceled it was not not clear about charging at all. They should at least let you know you are going to be charged $126 and getting nothing in return. I only found out I was charged when I saw it on my credit card. I'll never use golf now again, what a ripoff. I'll never use golf now again.
Got double billed due to a so called glitch in system. Couldn't refund had to take coupons. Then find out it has to be a hot deal and past 12 pm. No exceptions. What is this? You double billed me. Your mistake and I am penalized. What a crock. Then charge a convenience fee! Some convenience!
Do not use golf now. Their mistake or yours they will not refund your money. They will give you some stupid $#*! coupon hey do not trust them with your credit card this company is untrustworthy.

Be careful these aholes will steal your money anyway they can. Ripped me off for $177 USD and then sent me coupons for hotdeal rounds that didn't even exist. Be aware these jerks are the same ones trying to suck money from you with the golfcom subscription, don't do it. I use they're site to look up tee times and then phone the course and booked directly so they don't get anymore of my money
I booked a tee time, mistakenly cancelled and rebooked the exact same tee time moments later. I paid a the course directly. Looked at my credit card today and GolfNow charged me the full price as well. After contacting me, they are charging me for the first cancellation even though I immediately booked the same time and course. They refuse to issue a refund and the best yet is they keep the entire amount. Nothing goes to golf course. Terrible "customer" service but looks like everyone else is having the same experience.

They sent me the following email!
Hi Thomas,
We are sorry you had to cancel your recent tee time for reservation *******. Hot Deals and transaction fees can only be refunded if the course is closed.
Honest mistake $#*! there policies.
Called them up. They offered to send me some golf balls I said you gonna send me $120 worth of golf balls, he said no just one box, I said keep them and stick them up your $#*!!

I received a $20 off Lefties deal after purchasing a Hot Deal tee time offered. The only problem is that the $20 off is only good Monday through Thursday after 12. There are no Hot Deal in my area at this time. This condition was not made clear before I booked.
I bought my husband a tee time on July 2 for a local course, when he went to play at his tee time, the gold course said there was no such record and that they had been having a problem with Golf Now, He had to pay out of pocket, once home he called Golf NOw and was put on hold infinitely, called the bank the next day to dispute payment- what a hassle
These guys are only after your money. No help, ever. Don't even think about ever trying to change a tee time on their site.
Really poor service could not get anyone to help us. Trying book is too much work and prices aren't great.
Up until a year ago the VIP cost was $99, now its $199. They give you $21 credit per month which would make up for the $199 per year but these codes are only good for HOT DEALS after 12. There is no golf courses in my area that offer hot deals after 12. I called Golf Now and they said that's our policy, so I'm out of luck. Also, rewards use to be able to be made the day before, now you have to make the reservation 3 day prior when the prices are sky high, so, you actually get no reward.
I reserved a time at a local course for 4.2 days before one guy backed out and I notified the course directly. The other 3 played and paid at the course. I was charged for 4 no-shows! After 3 hour long chat sessions, the finally agreed that there was only one no-show and I would receive a credit. Well they charged again for 3 no-shows! I love the Golf Channel, they should be ashamed to be associated with this GolfNow outfit
Booking price points are okay, but if you book a HOT DEAL, BEWARE! I booked for a golf course and as soon as I received the confirmation realized it was for the wrong day, and immediately clicked cancel. Then received cancellation notice and re-booked the correct day. But I noticed charge was not credited when I got home 3 days later. Just got off the phone with them, and SHOCKING, they will not refund or give credit back to my account. They said yes, you cancelled right away, but you should have called, it says so right in the terms if you had clicked and read. Who does THAT?
I am not sure they would have done anything but they offered promo codes worth $100, which is only good Monday through Thursday. Most antiquated policy I have encountered in a while. So basically I got screwed out of $70 and I am sure I am not the only one. I am going to research the other booking sites and let you know what has best pricing and terms. And for everybody that knows myself and our circuit, do not use Golf Now anymore and we will find something better. Happy to answer any questions. The Chucklehead.
To call or email a disputed charge on my c/c is impossible I mean how can any company that has such name recognition be this bad? I have never taken time out to do this before but I'm on a mission for this group.
Answer: Because they got too big for their britches. They think they have such a clientele that the few who will drop off are insignificant. They would not even refund my fees for an accidental booking I made for the wrong day. You are correct, I have been going thru the local websites of the courses themselves. I was a customer for 5 years with about 40 bookings per year, they took away my free fees and the bonuses. I have not booked with them in 4 months.
Answer: Golfnow sent an E-mail to me (Dec) informing me that points must be used by Dec. 31. Ok tried to find a tee time for Sat or Sun because I work M-F. Not one single location available in Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando to book. Having 6600 points that I lose, it seems more notice would have been provided to assist in using valued points (converted $88.20). Nearest course several hours away (Daytona) not happening. Contacted Golfnow and Mr. Joe Babcock of customer service, (oxymoron), had me call 800-767-3574 to get a tee time, what a joke, lady on phone was of no value and promised her supervisor would call back.
