I recently ordered a 2 bolt kit (GM Part number *******). This is a kit that contains two oil filter housing bolts. These guys cut open the packaging, removed one of the bolts, then scotch taped the bag back up to make it look like it only came with one. It is clearly printed on the bag that 2 bolts are included. When I contacted them, they said I would have to pay the same price again to get the other half of my order. What a scam.
I would not even rate this a one - if there was an option for zero I would choose that.
Between ordering the parts with no ETA, No response after multiple calls or emails, and the parts showing up damaged - I don't even want to mess with a return process.
These guys are just middle men - go to the dealer or order elsewhere because they are terrible between service, and responses it's ridiculous.
11/10 would not recommend, even to my worst enemy.
They're happy to take your money, but they are no longer in business. I placed an order for several parts - they charged my card, acknowledged the order, and 3 months later it still shows "in progress". They do not answer the phone or reply to emails.
Ordered a part and it got a far as them creating a shipping label but it never shipped. It's been weeks now and I still don't have a part, usps shows they're still waiting for the package to ship out, and customer service won't respond to emails and never answers the phone. Don't order from here
I ordered a part back in March 2023, I never received it. I have tried multiple times to contact customer service and we re at the end of May and still response from them. They charged my card & got payment.
I got no part & no refund. I tried calling but directs you to website. Won't be ordering from them anymore
I am a person who lives in Korea. I purchased a product worth 1.2 million won, but there was an error in payment and no one contacted me when I applied for a refund.

Ordered a part that was in stock at many vendors. Waited 20 days and no part. Sent an email asking for status, but no response. Waited another week and reached out again. Again no response.
Terrible vendor. Spend your money somewhere else. ANYWHERE else, actually.
I wish I had seen their poor reviews before. There was no update to my order status. I called them couple of times, no reply. Sent them an email and someone replied that They've hold my order "waiting response" without any notifications to me. Reason was they had to buy my order from GM and ship it to me, they wanted to see whether I was ok with additional delay! But hey, you should have told me not waiting for me to asking you couple of times on order status
Do not order overnight from them. You won't get your order overnight. Or even the next night. 4 days later and I still haven't recieved my order. It says it will deliver today. And they will not refund and shipping costs. Email correspondence was "delightful" they then closed my request.
When you contact this company, they act like you are the enemy! They don't deserve one star, as they are clueless when it comes to taking care of the customer! I was in senior management for 45 years and I can tell you now there would be a lot of people looking for a job if I was managing this company!

Deceptive return policy and misleading consumers. All parts are listed as "special order" when they are not. By doing this, they believe it gives them the authority to without your money via a 35% fee. It is a scam and it is astounding this place is still operating. Your order will take weeks to ship, you will become irritated and will call/email to cancel, they will conveniently say that it was about to ship...you will lose 35% of your payment. They will never provide proof of anything. It has ZERO affiliation with GM. Go to your local GM dealer and get the parts, they will arrive the next day. AVOID ordering from GMPartsDirect, you will lose money.
Order the part stated to make sure part was correct I had to give the vin# of the vehicle which I did & year make & model. I received the part a week later was not the correct part it's not the right order number tried to call no one ever answers only a recorded I texted I emailed no response I love messages numerous messages no response looks like I've just lost over $100
Purchased a simple set of O rings, but realized I did ordered the incorrect items. No problem, right? I contacted them via email requesting to cancel and was told I would pay a 35% cancellation fee. Okay, seems high, but it was a cheap part. I said I want to go forward with cancelling. They replied telling me that they would send a form over, but nothing happened after that. A few days later they shipped anyway. Great, now I have a part I don't need and I'm certain if I returned it, I would pay some exorbitant restock fee plus the shipping both ways. GMPartsDirect, you have lost me as a future customer over your unwillingness to be fair for your own gain. There are too many options out there to put up with this.
Made 2 orders from them in 2 months for parts for our Chevy Express Cargo Van. Some parts were labeled special order, was told it might take a couple weeks to ship, but they arrived in less than 3 weeks. Works for me!
Second order was body panels for the same van. Got them in less than 3 weeks also!
You must pay attention to parts availability. Don't just 'add to cart' without checking. Customers do bear some responsibility!
Anyway, they did just fine by me. I've had worse experiences with other online retailers.

Payment was debited from my card but the items remain in the cart as if they had not been paid for and an order number was not created for my purchase. I need my items urgently! Sent wrong mats. Tried calling them. Never called back. Lied about returning calls. Which is bs we called and left 5 messages. Then said we didn't return by the deadline. How would we know. Just another crooked gm dealer. BEWARE
I thought this would be a legit site to order from… wrong. I ordered a light up emblem. Part did come in after a while but then stoped working because of faulty seal. No problem with a year warranty right? Wrong again. There is no customer service! I always get an answering machine and when I sent emails I only received what seemed to be auto generated emails. Looks like I just lost 300 bucks. Will never purchase here again. And will do everything in my power to get the word out so they cant screw anyone else over.
My car has been out of commission for over a month because they have shipped two drive shafts that arrived broken. The first was packaged terribly and got completely destroyed during shipping. The second was packaged better but was damaged as well. They refuse to help me beyond the normal RMA process. If a decent company had caused this many problems, they would actually try to help fix it.
Thought that I was dealing with a top notch GM parts provider, BUT was I wrong. They have very, very, very poor response via both e-mail & voice mail, and never return calls. After multiple e-mail messages and no voice mail responses, I cancelled my order. They still shipped 3weeks later & I found my part elsewhere the day I cancelled the order.
They still shipped. I received and RMA & shipping label, and got 50% of the parts cost back. New part in never opened box with 35% restocking fee and I paid for all shipping costs.
DO NO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Use www.gmpartscenter.net for excellent customer service instead.

They dont have any phone numbers or leads to a manager available on the site obviously on purpose, so we cant reach them when they scam clients.
I would give a negative 10 if I could on here. Next up is my credit card dispute with them.
