Glyde is an excellent site for people that want to buy or sell games fast. I love Glyde because it's easy to sell and buy a game, the games are also very cheap compared to other companies. Lastly, if for some reason the item you bought does not get to you then Glyde will always be on your side!
I was s bit in disbelief the whole time thinking that this was too good to be true. I got twice what I would have gotten selling through Gazelle. Selling my phone was very easy and any questions that I had were answered promptly By a sales representative via email. My only issue was that the process took about a week longer than I thought it would. Other than that I would definitely use this site again the next time I need to sell any of my technology.
I've sold two products and it was very easy. Set your price, wait. If it doesn't sell, lower the price. Then when it sells they send you all the packing materials to send it on. You pack it up, drop it off at the post office. Soon after that there is money available. I had it deposited into my checking account. Very easy service.
After cancelling a contract with provider who shall not be named, the termination fees --basically the payoff for the phones -- was astronomical. The trade-in, as expected, was tiny. But my new provider suggested Glyde and voila! Three people got great phones at fantastic prices and I made enough to make a real dent in the fees.
Put up some games for sale, lets you know how much you're going to get after tax and shipping. However, I am getting less than what they originally promised and they are saying that I am the one who messed up. I used their "Fair Market Price" for a game in excellent condition ($40.75), they said I used $30.75. Why would I ask for less on a game that I only played twice?
Now what?
An immaculate phone I sent to the buyer is being returned:
"Not as described"
Really? It went out in perfect like new condition. I expect it to come back the same way.
I hope this isn't bait and switch. Send a nice piece and get crap back.
I
I purchased an iPhone 4 through glyde.com (4/12.) The company sent a 'follow-up' email asking if I was satisfied with the stated condition and functions of this iPhone after delivery. The condition was 'excellent' but I had a problem with the phone not 'vibrating' for incoming text messages. I responded to their follow-up email (within the required 48 hour limit) with my 'complaint' and a very dedicated Customer Service representative worked with me to
Resolve the problem. She actually did on-line research for this particular problem on Apple.com and offered a suggestion that eventually resolved the entire issue (she advised me to go the the Apple Store and the 'genius' there found it to be a 'Settings' problem.) I was so impressed by her prompt and thorough responses to my emails that I contacted her supervisor to comment on her professional manner and efforts to ensure my 'Customer Satisfaction!' I am writing this review as a result of my very positive
Experience with glyde.com.
Sold a Samsung S II that was in excellent condition. Was in factory reset mode and fully charged. Buyer rejected sale and sent back. When I received the phone back, it had been used and did not accept a charge or work. Clearly the buyer had used it and damaged it by trying to upgrade the firmware. Sent emails to Glyde customer service with no response. Now I have a damaged phone, worth $350, that I cannot resell or use again. Asking for full sales price to be credited to me. Will update
I think Glyde is a better way to go than Gamestop for trade ins and credit, but the shipping charges really cut into your cash. $4 to ship a Vita game is a little ridiculous. I guess they have to make money somehow.
I recently purchased a iPhone xs max from Glyde and am very happy with the like new condition. Received the phone in a very timely manner. Works great no problems. Will definitely use Glyde again when the time comes to purchase another phone.
They offered to buy my phone as part of their trade in program. I sent it to them and was to be paid out in 3 days. That was nearly a month ago. At first they were apologetic, promising to fix the situation. Now they aren't returning emails and in the last reply I had from them they said " if I sent them my phone" even though I have emails confirming that they have it as well as confirmation from fedex on who signed for it when they received it. Very shady, they lie and in my opinion are compete scammers. Beware!
I've purchased from Glyde several times. They recently randomly decided to freeze my account for fraud.
I verified my bank information with my bank and sent the detailed Glyde requested via email. They claim to have be unable to verify my information. Now they have stopped responding to my emails. I can no longer access my old history of items I've purchased.
It seems like a lot of people have this problem. Don't buy from this site... save yourself time and energy.
Listed two iPhone 6 units for sale, and found that the suggested pricing was way out of line with the market. Had to look at other listings to see what the going rate was. Once I got that right, sales were quick and easy. They should make it easier to see the range of competing listings so one can quickly get pricing right.
Seems like all the reviews are from the sellers. Well as a buyer I would never recommend or use Glyde again. After 12 days and no recourse, they will reluctantly cancel my order if they don't hear from the seller in another 5 days. They will not even keep my money. How nice of them for returning my money for not getting the phone I ordered. Do yourself a favor and buy from a real seller.
I followed every direction given. Listed my games as they were and all that. After I hit 50 dollars, it locked my account. Now I'm out games and the 57.00 that Glyde was supposed to pay me for the games. This site is Bull$#*!. Capital "B".
Ordered my phone there after a week of no further updates I tried contacting them till I got a respond back and forward bla bla bla... Bottom line I disputed the charge and warning your guys stay as far as possible, they seem to be crooks.
Hi Sam. Thanks for contacting us here. I am very sorry to hear about the disputed charge and delayed response. Can you tell me the order number here? I can look into the details of this order right away and see if it was cancelled or delayed for any reason. Thanks again.
Ordered an iPhone a few days ago and everything was fine. However glyde charged me for a phone I don't have. Then the seller change their mind and cancelled! So glyde took it upon themselves to take more money from my account and buy me another iPhone from the site. Now glyde has taken out over $400 from my account. I emailed them but now they have my bank information... They didn't even ask if I wanted the other phone they just assumed. I feel unsafe at this point and will go to my bank today to see what can be done. This site is a scam and I will be removing my information and deleting glyde indefinitely.
Hi Patrick. Thanks for writing here. We can help clear up the first cancellation and charges. Please email us at service@glyde.com. It is likely that the pending charge on the first, cancelled order just needed 2-3 business days to be removed by your bank. We can also cancel the match with the second seller, if you do not want that phone. Thanks again and we apologize for the mistake.
I never even heard of Glyde until last week, I found the cheapest copy of Saints Row the Third on the website. I was a little skeptical, but decided to risk the it. They immediately gave me a tracking number and the game came in two days earlier. Thanks!
I have ordered my phone over two weeks ago and it its still not here. Not only does this site not have a customer service phone number to call they also take up to 3-4 DAYS to respond to an email. Very unprofessional and I will not be using this service ever again. They do not even provide you with a shipping number to track your package. I am completely in the dark about when or if ever my ordered phone will arrive
Hi Bryce. Thanks for your feedback here. I'm Brian from Glyde's customer service team and I would be happy to help here. Can you tell me the order number? We will email the seller and urge them to ship as soon as possible. Seller delays like this are rare, but when they do occur, we mark them against the seller and remove the seller if they form a pattern. Thanks again.
I attempted to purchase a phone here, and after entering all of my information, it coincidentally gave me a message notifying me that the phone had already been sold.
They now refuse to remove my credit card information or even acknowledge the fact that I have been charged falsely.
Now I have to go though my credit card company and obtain a new credit card.
Customer service is of absolutely no help, as they give me the same automated response over and over again, not acknowledging any of the specifics of my situation.
They are so clearly a scam and do as much as they can to get your information and keep it for good, you can't remove your card number or even delete your account.
Hopefully they get shut down soon.!#$! You, Glyde.
PS: Customer service is EMAIL only. They do this on purpose. Please don't make the same mistake I did and stay away from here! Great for sellers who want to scam people, terrible for anyone else.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend

Hi Deb. This is Brian from Glyde customer service team. I'm so sorry to hear about the return. It could be that the buyer just had an activation issue with the phone or ordered the wrong model. We will make sure you receive the phone back in the exact same condition or get your full proceeds. I can look up more details about the buyer's complaint. Can you tell me the full name on the Glyde account or the order number here?
