I bought a "good" condition iPhone X just for a week later it had gotten the green screen of death. I tried reaching out to the company by calling many numbers that were listed and no one ever picked up.
Only a 7 day free return policy and we have been out of town with me trying to get used to this camera. I will be trying to figure out how to return it or I suppose resell it thru someone. I hate my Google Pixel 4a. Screen is way too small and the battery life is awful even with battery saver on and app saver settings. Will try to upgrade to the 4a5G, for size and function. My husband has that one and camera is much better as well as battery life. Just very disappointed in this Pixel phone versus others I have had.
-My phone came in with minor internal screen damage.
-Glyde was very difficult to get in touch with.
-When they did reach out (actually by phone, a surprise), I was given a 5% discount. Meh.
-Prices don't quickly adjust to other used phone prices across the market (ex. Ebay). So you might pay more. Glyde didn't feel any less sketchy than other marketplaces, given their being reticent to respond.
-But I did get a phone, and I wrote this review with it.
I have bought three phones from Glyde. Two were defective. One had a broken antenna, which I had only discovered one month after the return period closed. One that was recently purchased had a defective battery that would cost me $50 to replace by Apple
The photos attached to *all* the auctions shared the same photo, so the scratches on the device that I purchased could not be seen. This was a gift, and the damage was a bit more than I was expecting.
The instructions upon receipt are to load the Glyde app to confirm the correct model. Unfortunately, on the iPhone 8, the credential button is not accessible on the main screen - scrolling will snap the button away.
There are obvious improvements here.
I have purchased 100 items from Glyde and only had problems with 4 transactions. I highly recommend this site to anyone looking for games at a fraction of store prices. Customer Service is awesome and the response time is very high.
My first experience with Glyde was a pleasure. They provided a market estimate and one can select a different selling price based on how quickly he/she wants to sell. No photos necessary, just need to check boxes on details of phone and condition. They then ship you a pre labeled box after notifying you of a sale. Just drop it off per instructions (mail fee is already prepaid). Then your cash will be available a few days later. No accessories are to be included other than the charging cable; no cases, screen covers or ear buds. Very easy process:-)
Sounds like the problems earlier users were having had to do with this being a young site & delays over the December/January holiday period. I've had about ten transactions so far (mostly buying/selling books) and it's worked well for me.
Even though there is no phone number to call for customer service, I received prompt and very helpful service by email in returning an iPhone that arrived with damaged speakers. Thanks Christine! I would buy again from Glyde.
Product was purchased (iPod) was as advertised. A overall very good experience. Had to have customer service prompt our seller a bit which made me nervous about getting the transaction before Christmas but it all worked out perfectly in the end.
There should be a customer service number for one on one commutation. Going through email is like Stone Age. People are nice but I had listed the description of an item wrong, took four days to respond!
Crap, I wish I would have read these reviews. Yep, same thing happened to me. Bought an Iphone 6 and two months later its dead. Won't turn on or anything. Clearly, they are taking in bad phones, getting them to work for certain amount of time, knowing the hardware is going to go bad in a few months. So sad.
Since I didn't see many phone reviews for Glyde.com and I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy SII a couple of days ago. I will keep you up-to-date on its progress and we can all see how Glyde does in my experience. This is my first time purchasing from Glyde. I got a confirmation right after purchasing 10/17/12. Today 10/19/12 when I checked status it states, "Seller to receive shipping kit on 10/24/12". So, not blazing fast so far, but have had slower shipments before.
Since first hearing about Glyde from a friend, not only have I saved money with buying things, but I've made money selling the stuff I'm no longer using around the house. Glyde is efficient, simple, fair, and trust worthy.
Since Glyde doesn't have a contact phone number, you are at the mercy of their customer service reps' work ethics.
I was nervous as a first-time buyer & I had many questions & concern. The first customer rep was not good. Her replies to my email questions took more than 2 days (automated email system says a rep will reply within 24 hours). However, Frank, the second customer rep was very quick --his responses came back before I received automated emails! Also he took time to resolve a problem (even it was a minor) by contacting a seller.
Also Glyde didn't disclose the phone's IMEI # or S/N even after I committed to buy, so I ended up to take a video when I opened the package. Luckily the phone was 'as described'.
The iPad's I purchased were excellent condition as listed... the price was great and shipped on time... if you have any issues they will be right there to assist you in any way possible.

Great model. Also love payment in bitcoin option.
However, in my very limited experience, 2 of 3 sales have experienced a long wait from sale to receipt of shipping packet.
Example: sale of game on 2/2517. As of and including today, 3/7/17, I have not received the shipping packet.
So then, at least 10 days to receive packet (tomorrow is day 10) + at least a day to ship out (allowed longer) + transit time to buyer (whatever it is) + buyer approval time (however long allowed) = whatever, depending on location.
The point is that in this example it will likely be over two weeks. That is longer turn around than a typical internet purchase, either directly from a vendor or via competing buy/sell forums.
Note my 2 of 3 sample size is too small of course, and for me this issue, if it is an issue, is irrelevant --I am strictly a low volume/low $ sampler so far.
Does it discourage higher volume, higher $ buyers/sellers?
I have no idea. I would guess yes, but who knows?
I purchased an iphone from this site. It came in excellent condition as stated by Glyde. Great price and easy to order... came a day ahead of scheduled delivery. Very happy with this service and will use again in near future.
I've been selling and buying games from this site for a good year now and have not regret a single thing about it. Their service is awesome and I highly recommend at least trying it out. I do a gaming broadcast from Mon - Friday every week and am constantly mentioning Glyde on there. They don't pay me to say this, I just love the service that much! =)
In the past I traded in games, or sold them on eBay. I went through crappy pricing, a bunch of resell-bull$#*!, and ultimately just too much time. A friend mentioned Glyde earlier this year, I just started using it a few months ago, I regret not starting sooner. Glyde, keep doing what you do! Everyone out there try these guys out.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
