My first experience with Glyde was terrible. There was a long delay in receiving the phone and arrived long after the date promised. Additionally, I purchased an IPhone 4s 32GB, and I received a 4s 16GB. Glyde's customer service responses were on the level of patronizing and were inconsistent. In response to the delay in shipping issue, Glyde responded that their shipper would be placed on the watch list and prohibited from selling if additional incidents occurred. In response to the misrepresentation of product, Glyde gave the same response. Shouldn't the seller's ability to continue business with Glyde have been terminated at the second mishap based on Glyde's response to the first mishap? I asked for a discount or coupon to use on future purchases, and Glyde denied my request. Their proposal was to send the phone back - a month wasted of my time.
This has been an easy way to sell my things. I sell on eBay and may never sell there again.
My first experience with Glyde was a pleasure. They provided a market estimate and one can select a different selling price based on how quickly he/she wants to sell. No photos necessary, just need to check boxes on details of phone and condition. They then ship you a pre labeled box after notifying you of a sale. Just drop it off per instructions (mail fee is already prepaid). Then your cash will be available a few days later. No accessories are to be included other than the charging cable; no cases, screen covers or ear buds. Very easy process:-)
Hey Brian,
Why does Glyde not have a number that you can call to speak with a rep? Your number you have listed on this page just rings and rings, no message nothing. The one on a credit card statement does the same. If this is such a legitimate company, why don't you have a working phone number? Love to hear your answer for all to see since your company has nothing to hide I'm sure!
I don't know the appeal of glide. I thought it was buyer and seller of phones and etc., but it is really a market place like eBay. I ordered a phone, waited for 2 weeks- nothing. I reached out. Turns out the seller had a change of heart. Nobody cancelled the order and apparently glyde was looking for replacement, but they had 3 phones with similar condition for less money. I didn't like that. No pictures of the phone, you rely on seller, no phone number to call but the email response from glyde is quick. I cancelled my order and bought it on eBay same price with pictures and 30 days return policy. I bought it last night was overnighted already.
After comparing all competitor sites for selling mobile phones, Glyde offered THE BEST sales price. The process was explained clearly and followed exactly, including the time required for each step in the process. There were no surprises and the seller, buyer and third party (Glyde) all derived the expected benefits from the transaction - a clear winner for free market economies!
I listed my phone on Glyde and it sold rather quickly. After sending the phone to the buyer, I received an email that the buyer wanted to return my phone. Fine.
The problem is, that was about 3 weeks ago and I still have not received my phone back. There is no phone number, and customer service only operates via email (how is that even possible).
I would advise NOT using this company and go with a more legitimate company such as EBAY.
Terrible.
Product arrived late without promised charger.
After multiple email inquiries, no response.
Lame.
I listed an iPhone 5c for sale, and it sold in less than 36 hours. The entire process, from me listing my device to me receiving my payment in my bank account, took about 17 days. Every step along the way went as planned. It isn't 100% clear how they decide whose device sells. The website only shows one device at one price, no matter how many are queued up for sale (which isn't visible either). This is a bit of a lack of transparency, but since my phone sold so quickly, I'm not all that upset by it.
The process was extremely easy. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone
I was skeptical about purchasing through the site after reading some of the reviews, however I had a great experience. I paid a total of $35 for a tablet that is like brand new. I really only wanted the tablet for the reading books through the Amazon Prime lending library. I figured I did not have much to lose for $35 dollars and I am glad I did it.
I had an extra Samsung Galaxy smartphone that was merely taking up space. I was able to sell my phone and get a reasonable price for it. I compared thisbsote to several others, & Glyde was by far the best choice.
It was so straight forward and easy to sell on Glyde. Great customer service that was quick and responsive with any questions!
Supposed to be 3 day pymt after phone received. Still haven't been notified, so communication is sub par. I have used others. I expect better. I still don't know if I have been paid. I am disappointed after the glowing reviews. I will NOT be recommending you.
Great experience selling my iPhone on Glyde. Would recommend this site for anyone looking to sell their pre-owned electronics. The customer service team was always in contact with me via email with instructions and updates. Somehow there was a glitch and I had two phones listed instead of one. The customer service team fixed the issue and did not charge me for the second shipping kit. I will definitely use Glyde in the future.
Very positive experience using Glyde to sell my iPhone. The transaction was handled professionally and smoothly. The phone sold quickly and the payment was deposited to my bank within 3 days of the buyer receiving the phone. I would recommend this service to my friends and family.
It took way too long to get my game. The game I traded was promptly mailed. & then it took too long to get paid form my trade.
Had a previous good experience with Glyde so decided to sell my iPhone 6 Plus through them. Phone sold 5 days after I listed it, but a box was fairly slow in arriving. Once it did, I promptly mailed it to the buyer using the box and label provided by Glyde. I then received another box from Glyde (with the same order number), which seemed odd. Then I was notified that I was slow in mailing the phone, and then my account was suspended. After contacting support, my account was reactivated and I received a THIRD box (with a new order number). Again contacting support, I was told that I obviously must have sold my phone via another service (not Glyde). At this point, I have no phone, no money and Glyde is taking no responsibility. Moral of the story: seller and buyer beware. Glyde has terrible customer service and will take no responsibility for any problems or errors. Apparently there is no universe in which THEY make the mistake. The customer, in the Glyde model, is always wrong.
UPDATE: after contacting the Post Office and getting the full tracking info from the receipt I got, Glyde contacted the buyer who had my phone. They have now acknowledged that there was a screw up and will be sending me my money. But in the meantime, they sent me yet another box with yet another order number! So moral of the story: if you use Glyde, be sure the get receipts for everything and verify that all labels match the order info they email you.
Great experience. Although it takes almost two weeks for everything to process. I hope it would be faster. But everything went smooth just as promised.
I recently sold my phone on Glyde. The price they offered was higher than other sites that I checked, and it sold very quickly. I'm all around pleased with the whole process.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
