It is rare in today's society to find a company that says what it does and does what it says. Fair, best experience selling phone ever.
Glyde is the best place to sell your old smartphones, iPods, and much more. It is simple and I have sold 3 things for the amount I wanted and in very short time frame.
The shipping kit takes forever to arrive. Not sure why we can't just print a shipping label and package it ourselves. I am fairly confident I can package the item securely. This would save about a week of time. At least the option to ship it your self rather than waiting for the kit would be nice.
I tried purchasing an IPad Mini 2 and suddenly my account was blocked after my credit card was charged with no explanation. I have been a customer for 4 years with 87 completed purchases. I am outraged!
Glyde was very nice and helpful in making the sale. However, they sold me an IPhone 4 that was ICloud locked rendering it useless. So beware of locked phones because the helpfulness seems to stop over big issues leaving you holding the bag and out the money
I have been using glyde for years. All they do is play the middle man between buyers and sellers. If there is any problem with the product you just let them know and they take care of you. If you fail as a seller to provide the item in the condition you specified on the website Glyde will hold you accountable. I have never had a bad transaction whether buying or selling. Fantastic Service. Not always the best price, but MOST of the time they are.
I purchased an iPhone 5C (Order #*******945). It is a t-mobile device. One month after using it, t-mobile deactivated the phone for delinquent payment from the previous owner. No I am stuck with a device that is unusable. What can Glyde do?

I'm an Indian. I want to buy an Iphone which is in USD price. So how can buy the phone
I bought a phone on glyde for $220 (which is the cheapest I could find for the one I wanted) after mine broke while I was traveling during the summer. I was looking for a quick and easy replacement where I didn't have to worry about contracts and all that jazz. My experience was a lot more stressful. First of all, the company consists of private sellers, you don't even know who you are buying a phone from. When I got my phone, after 11 days, I was pleasantly surprise with a phone that was in awful condition (even though it was listed as "excellent" on the website). The phones screen was lifting off and it deteriorated in light. When I took it outside, the screen turned pink and did not respond to my touch. Aside from that, the process of receiving and then having to return my item took forever and the money in my bank account kept going in and out, I didn't even know what was going on. So if you're looking for an easy alternative to get a new smartphone or replace a broken one, DO NOT GET IT FROM GLYDE.
Very straight forward from choosing the price based on a slide scale showing what each price will yield you to the site taking care of the listing, letting you know when it is sold, and handling all of the shipping details. Nothing was difficult in selling my iPad and more recently an iPhone 4 which is still in the process.
Sold my 2 iPhone 6 in just a few days. Very quick and easy. Fourth time I have used Glyde to sell my phones and iPads. Will use this site each time I sell.
Glyde, by far was the worst experience I've had with any e-commerce transaction. I sold two iPhones to have my account frozen. I question why by email three times! And yet not response or updates to why. I will never use this company again.
Simple process. Glyde gave me everything I needed to quickly sell my iPhone.
I've tried a couple of different sites including Ebay and gamestop and I always felt cheated out of the real value of the games. With Glyde, I feel like the values are there. Glyde doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and that's a very good thing.
The process to sell was a wonderful one and I expect the one buying will be also great.
Selling my iPhone with Glyde was simple and quick. Customer service was very helpful and I was kept informed the entire process. Great experience and I highly recommend Glyde to anyone wanting to buy or sell their electronics.
I sold two iPhones. They were 'sold' within hours of each other. I sent off the phones via USPS on the same day (in fact, I gave the PO both boxes simultaneously).
However, one phone took nearly three weeks to go through the whole process whereas the other took approximately 1 week. No explanation. Looking at the tracking data, the phone that was 'lost' was not going anywhere special.
I would have to have a lot of patience before using this in the future.
Sold 3 iPhones, but had to clean them of info, etc and still got held up by one buyer who claimed phone was locked. Had to contact Glyde to learn status of overdue sales. If you use Glyde you will do lots of work for the money. Not a pack it, ship it, collect a check operation.
Should have worked better; disappointed w/ the overall process and result. Room for improvement -- Glyde customer rejected item w/ no reason given, shipping was botched 2/2.
Glyde gave me the best price for my used iphone... and the process was simple
I attempted to purchase a phone here, and after entering all of my information, it coincidentally gave me a message notifying me that the phone had already been sold.
They now refuse to remove my credit card information or even acknowledge the fact that I have been charged falsely.
Now I have to go though my credit card company and obtain a new credit card.
Customer service is of absolutely no help, as they give me the same automated response over and over again, not acknowledging any of the specifics of my situation.
They are so clearly a scam and do as much as they can to get your information and keep it for good, you can't remove your card number or even delete your account.
Hopefully they get shut down soon.!#$! You, Glyde.
PS: Customer service is EMAIL only. They do this on purpose. Please don't make the same mistake I did and stay away from here! Great for sellers who want to scam people, terrible for anyone else.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
