Ordered a pair of sunglasses with prescription lenses that I'm very happy with. The website was full of options, with filters that helped to narrow my choices down to the point where I selected a great pair of Maui Jim's. The process was not difficult at all. My only complaint was that the promotional messages that followed all offered discounts, none of which applied to my eventual purchase.

First off the return process is very complicated and I think it's part of their business plan. The 2 pairs of glasses I purchased were terrible. They're made of cheap plastic and do not stay on your head. It was a waste of money and I will be going somewhere else to get a pair that works. I did try and go through their support before writing this review and that was just a waste of time.

Shopping was fine, although the site doesn't filter/sort properly by glasses measurements. If you need help figuring out where your order is - forget about customer service. You cannot get a human being on the phone. Only AI chat bots or human chats are available. And neither will do anything to assist with finding the exact location of your shipment. I will likely use another service for buying glasses in the future.

Couldn't get a live person on the phone and chats weren't helpful.

The email advertisements and coupon offers gave me the impression that Glasses USA would save me considerable money compared to another popular website that I have used 4 times prior. I wear progressives, so that immediately brought the price up (that's understandable). Then adding scratch protection, lens options, warranty option revealed a price that was in the very same range. The glasses are fine, but the savings is not there.

Discovered GlassesUSA when we were in lockdown and needed new glasses. Cheaper frames actually worked better for my prescriptions and fit better. But, my prescription has now changed, and they will not refit the frames with the new lens prescription. So I need to find some other supplier that will do just that, or $600 worth of frames are now worthless.

I received my glasses 19 days after placing the order, and production time was 2 weeks. I was concerned about the delivery date because I was leaving for an extended time, so tried very hard to contact a real person to change the delivery address, to no avail. Frustrating! However, my glasses came before I departed, so all is well that ends well!

I tried very hard to talk to a real person, calling 5 different phone numbers, but I wasnt able to. The canned messages and options were the same for all phone numbers. I also left a message, but never received a call back. Extremely frustrating…

It's not very user friendly even for mobile viewing. The try online isn't smooth. I was using an older iPad at first and then switched to my iPhone 11 and at some points it wouldn't even open. Original: I purchased 2 pairs of sunglasses. Four days later they emai me stating I need to pay another $70 to upgrade due to my prescription. You would think their system would flag that prior to the customer giving them their money since you have to input your prescription. They said they proceed with the order unless I pay more and pick different frames. So I email them back requesting a cancellation. No reply. I call and they say I have to submit a form like it is 2012. Why would I need to request a cancellation on something you already told me you can't proceed with? Frustrating. UPDATE: GlassesUSA contacted me to upgrade my prescription at no additional cost. I accepted and am awaiting my sunglasses. I much happier with this company and would consider them in the future. I will provide another update when sunglasses arrive.
UPDATE 2:
Received the sunglasses in a little over 2 weeks. I am happy with my purchase. Thought the sunglasses would be a little bigger based on the "try on" option and the actual photo. Plan to buy regular glasses from this company.

This was my second time ordering glasses. The first time was no problem. The second time thats another story. I ordered glasses with a prescription for prism lenses. They got shipped to me and there was no prism. After sending them back I had to call four times, talking to four different people to get my return processed and to get the glasses redone. I sent in my prescriptions, both the prism prescription and the vision prescription. The prism prescription had all the information for the doctor incase there was any problem. I also let the person on the phone from glasses usa know that they were prism lenses. After waiting quite a long time for the glasses to be remade and a so called quality control check, they finally arrived and the glasses were wrong for the second time. The left off the prism! Making the glasses totally useless. There quality control must be stupid! I guess they can't read, because if they had looked at what was ordered the would have seen the glasses were not correct.

I have ordered many pairs of glasses from glassesusa! All of them being Oakley or ray band. My glasses cost at the least 300 a pair. I have been satisfied with most of them however every single time I've paid for expedited shipping and every time it's completely failed! I'm not sure how glasses USA can ship my glasses from Israel take my money for expedited shipping and never come through on time yet could care less! I just was on the phone with one of there people and honestly it seemed like they could care less and they had a way to count themselves out of the days to make it match up. Love your glasses absolutely hate your shipping and customer service. Also kind of upset that glasses USA seems to have zero to do with the USA.

The ride through Customer service purgatory.
I purchased a pair of glasses from Glasses USA and couldn't be happier. Great pair of glasses. I lost a screw from one arm and couldn't find a replacement because the screw and bolt system isn't like any thing I've seen before and very specific to the Revel brand of frames I have. I've worn glasses for 53 years and never had an issue finding screws until this unique one. I notified Glasses USA and they said they would forward it to the production dept. on Sept 8th. That was 4 months and 8 calls ago. Do the math people. Once your not paying for it, your no longer relevant. They did however, after 3 months, mail me a standard repair kit with hardware that didn't fit my frame. Not one of my 8 service calls hit the mark. Back on the hamster wheel again.
Glasses USA gets an "F" for customer service follow through. Will I buy from them again? That's up to them. Come on folks, chop, chop. Daddy needs a new screw.

I like the glasses from this site and the convenience, but hope you don't have to try to reach customer service. I have had a few issues with orders but it was the most painful process to actually reach someone. Chat is useless, you might be lucky and get a response to an email, and you are also lucky if you can't reach a person via phone and not just get useless information or get kicked off the line. After the latest issue (wrong glasses sent to me), I finally reached a person after a few attempts. Hoping the exchange gets done correctly. Sigh--it's too bad, as the prices are great. They would be so much better if they fixed the customer service aspect.

I used to order glasses from glassesusa for my whole family. I had no problem before. This time it's been a month since my order and they still can't give me an estimate on shipping date. All I get is "We are working hard to deliver your order. At this time, we can't promise an exact delivery date.". I'm sorry, but I need to know how long you are planning to work hard on my order.
I was promised a refund, but now they are "working hard" on the refund and no money has been refunded.
I started a paypal dispute, because I need my money back so I can order from another vendor.

On there site it states 2-4 business days for production 1-2days quality check then shipping I talked with rep and even though it's been 10 business since I ordered they said ooo it finished quality check today now its gonna be 1-2 business days after quality check to ship it then I still have to wait the 2-3 business days I paid for to get to me.
So everyone if u need glasses fast find another way cause u will be waiting atleast 2weeks

I ordered three pairs of prescription eyeglasses from Glasses USA. My first order was delivered awhile ago and they are absolutely terrific. I couldn't be any happier with my order. However I am somewhat disappointed with my other 2 orders that I placed just a few days after my first order was placed. I have only received one update on the order status and that is that they received the orders. I contacted the customer service which is deplorable and just a computer bot and was told that the orders for both glasses shipped a week ago. I don't know what kind of shipping method they use but one week waiting since being told my orders shipped is a bit too long. I also need to mention that the production took several weeks to make my eye glasses. I am somewhat disappointed and not sure if I would order glasses online again.

Be prepared for to wait a very long time before receiving your order. Also customer service and support is pretty much non existent.

I order a pair of sunglasses 3 weeks before I needed them thinking they would be here in time. But here I am and they are not here yet with no update on when they will be here. When I contacted customer service all they said was the shipping service is backed up and that they couldn't help. I suggest until they start using a different service not to order from them. Their products are good for what you are paying but the shipment in my eyes is not worth the headache.

I've ordered from glasses USA maybe 4 or 5 times now and I haven't had any major order or quality issues. Sometimes an order takes a bit longer to prepare than expected but it's not a big problem. What I'm getting tired of is getting constant "discounts" and codes sent to my email which end up not working on anything. And misleading sales that end up not being as great as advertised. When you do land a good deal that works, it's great, but it's so frustratingly unorganized trying to find something you can actually use the discount on. And there seem to be very few options if you need narrower glasses and shorter arms than the typical 145 so my husband is out of luck shopping here. One of the smaller sized ones we got just fall off his face when he looks down. Wish it was organized better, easier to find specific measurements rather than just "small, medium, large", discounts and codes actually worked consistently, and that there were more actually small sized options for my husband to shop here as well.

Sent me the wrong prescription. It has been a nightmare dealing with customer service. I sent glasses back with a promise they would make new ones. I inquired several times and finally got a response that the first ones were filled correctly and if they sent new glasses they would be same prescription as first ones. Said their prescription numbers did not match mine but they had been filled correctly? I told them I could not see out of the glasses and asked for a refund. At this point I am out of money, have no glasses, and I cannot get them to respond. I will gladly update my review if they fix the problem.
Glassesusa reviewed my prescription and compared it with a copy of the prescription and has agreed to send corrected pair with extras at no extra charge. The also are sending them at expedited shipping at no extra charge. When I receive my glasses if prescription is correct and glasses look as nice as originals I will edit rating and give them a five star rating.

Your glasses were produced correctly according to the prescription that you had entered on the order. The cylinder values were entered with (+) positive values. Nowadays the majority of labs, including ours, cut lenses in the negative (-), and require that any positive (+) cylinder prescriptions be converted into the negative (-) equivalent. Rest assured this conversion does not alter the type or quality of the vision correction that your doctor prescribed you. The conversion will affect (change) the SPH, CYL, and AX parameters in your prescription, but will result in the exact same vision correction you were fit for by your doctor. We automatically perform this conversion if the prescription you enter is written with a positive (+) cylinder.

We have received a copy of your correct prescription with the (-) negative cylinder values and will begin producing your new glasses as requested in your correspondence with our service representatives.
